Have stayed here twice now.

Fantastic for someone on their own. Lovely seating area round the back, by private stream. Robin the owner was very welcoming. Gave me a discount card for the waterfalls. Will be coming again next summer.

The place is fantastic, we wil definitely l come back again.

Its location couldn't be any better, it backs on to the river a great place fir a morning coffee. The sofa bed is very comfy for a sofa bed. The kitchen has everything you would ever need to do a breakfast for each other. A very strong shower with plenty of hit water

Unfortunately, we won‘t come back as my girlfriend is afraid of huge spiders.

It‘s actually not a big deal if a few of them are in the house, but there were too many of them. The moldy smell as many other people wrote in the comments was there but it wasn‘t an issue to get comfortable with it. The terrace was lovely and the sound of the creek next to the cottage was pretty calming.

Lovely place to stay, enjoyed the Millstream running beside the cottage.

The walk from the cottage up to the waterfall was a delight.

We had a wonderful stay at Millstream.

It was lovely to sit on the patio with the water running past. The cottage itself was well equipped and we found the sofa bed surprisingly comfortable. It was wonderful to have options for walking from the front door without moving the car. We walked on the coast path and down to St Nectans Glen waterfall during our stay. We look forward to staying again in the future.

The owner was very helpful. The patio by the stream was lovely. It was a peaceful, quiet retreat surrounded by nature and within walking distance of Rocky Valley and the coastal path and very close to Tintagel and Boscastle.

Had a wonderful stay in this little cozy character cottage.

Very clean, had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway. Within easy reach of Boscastle, Tintagel, Nectans Glen and Rocky Valley. The babbling brook goes right by the window. Will definitely be going back.

the location was wonderful but the accommodation did not come up to our expectations.

The following points were noted. 1, Room was cold and smelt slightly damp on arrival 2. There were no instructions for the cooker (we use gas) 3. the fridge had no freezer compartment and was rather small 4. The photos of the interior were misleading about the size of the building 5. The standard of décor was poor. This didn't distract from the stay but is worth mentioning as it may affect other guests. 6. We informed the owner, by phone, that we were leaving early due to the petrol crisis. We didn't expect a refund but a reply to our call would have been nice.

The cottage is quaint and picturesque but is decidedly "cosy".

Although we knew there was a sofa bed, we did not know quite how little room there was. The cottage is quite cramped for space with two adults with luggage for a week, especially when the weather is not kind. We prefer mixer taps and the kitchen taps were very tight. Tintagel is probably the closest centre but offers little in the way of decent standard food outlets, unlike Boscastle, a little further away. The whole cottage remained dank, in spite of windows being open and central heating being on. Given its quaintness and the lovely gardens, it is a pity that it is let down by being rather uncomfortable. I also do not understand why there is a gate on the driveway, necessitating one person leaping out to open and close this in all weathers. Overall, a rather disappointing experience.

Millstream in beautiful At Nectan's Glen surpassed our expectations at every level.

Yes, the cottage is small but it has everything needed for a delightful short break away. The bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water and a full size bath, ideal for relaxing those aching muscles after a long hike on the stunning coastal path just minutes from the cottage. The gardens are simply gorgeous, as is the private woodland walk up to the waterfall. Robin (the owner) was most helpful in suggesting places to visit, where to eat and where to find the best views. The 2-hourly bus service between Truro and Bude stops very close to the cottage drive (very handy if you're of a certain age with bus passes like us!) During our stay we walked the coastal path every day bar one. From Rocky Valley to Tintagel (in both directions) is spectacular, as is the the path between Rocky Valley and beautiful Boscastle. We also got the bus driver to drop us off at Boscastle Farm Shop (wonderful cafe here) and walked back along the coastal path into Boscastle harbour. Only a relatively short walk with not as many 'ups and downs' but with the most glorious views.

Loved this cottage.

Sofa bed easy to operate and very comfortable. Excellent shower with loads of hot water. Wi fi very good for Champions League final! Lovely private patio by the stream. There's got to be a negative..........the vacuum cleaner's not great

Lovely location nice and peaceful next to a stream lots of walks to tintagel and coastal walks we appreciate the COVID situation but feel 5.

30 is quite late to check in as missing one day of holiday lovely little hobbit cottage only minus was the bed settee did not fully go into upright position when using as a settee a plus was loads of hot water overall would definitely recommend

Great location.

Very good wifi. Good supply of hot water and very adequate shower despite being dated. Could do with a general update

Everything was fine excepting the nettwork, often disconnected.

Hope it could be improved.

The location was magical and relaxing and convenient for nearby walks and activities.

Robin was extremely kind and helpful and went out of his way to offer assistance when I lost a bag on the beach. I would recommend him as a superb host.

Mr Evans was a very friendly and helpful host.

very cosy and well equipped

Millstream cottage was the absolute perfect little romantic hideaway for a short trip.

Nestled in the woods it is like something out of a fairy tale!! Great walks immediately near by and about a 30 minute walk into Tintagel (if you don't get distracted by the play park on the way home from the pub!). The cottage had everything we needed and acted well as a base for our other adventures as well having the lovely secluded patio to relax by the stream of an evening. Absolute bliss!

Halgabron Cottages are just the best idyllic and secluded spot for a quiet and just lovely break.

Set in wonderful grounds and easy access to walks along the Rocky Valley, St Nectan's Glen and down to the beach, we just had a simply wonderful break. The owner of the cottages is a lovely and accommodating person who was so welcoming and approachable. This was our honeymoon and we couldn't have picked a better spot for it. Superb all round!

Robin was a very friendly and helpful host. He directed us to some wonderful walks and was always ready to provide local information. We had a really brilliant time and would definitely go again.

The mill cottage was so unusual!

It's in a lovely part of Cornwall within easy access of the sea and local amenities - only a mile from Tintagel. Very peaceful - just the sounds of the birds and the stream running by. Heavenly!

Cannot recommend enough; everything was very organised; lights & heating thoughtfully on in readiness for our evening arrival, gorgeous cosy cottage.

You know when booking that it's small, but everything is so well organised, there's no compromise; good storage, kitchen stocked with everything needed, easy to quickly heat to cosiness, & the sofa/bed is easy to assemble & properly comfortable. & 11/10 for location! Private patio & beautiful shared garden, both right on the stream and in n amazing location down the glen; owner there if needed but left us to it, all very peaceful, really felt it was "ours" for the week.
