The property

Chy Lowena makes a wonderful Cornish retreat for families, couples, and friends seeking a Falmouth getaway, set in the heart of the popular Pendra Loweth Holiday Village.

This two-bedroom bungalow is ideal for four guests and has the use of onsite facilities including tennis courts, a children's outdoor play area, a gym, an indoor plunge pool, and a jacuzzi (seasonal opening hours apply), and is a short walk from Swanpool and Maenporth Beach.

The living area is open plan with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and sitting area, and there are two bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Outside the living area is a sunny, south-facing private patio with garden furniture for alfresco dining, which opens onto a large communal lawn.

Set on the north side but just a short stroll from the centre of the village, close to the stream which runs through it, this spot seems to retain an additional air of tranquillity, the gardens are beautifully planted, with seasonal plants, flowers, and shrubs.

A short walk along the local lanes will have you at Swanpool Beach and Estuary.

Here you will find a sandy, protected, and vibrant cove.

Just as convenient is the slightly quieter cove at Maenporth, again the perfect spot in which to spend a day on the beach but close enough to pop to for a couple of hours for an invigorating swim.

Both beaches boast a beach café, and Water Activities Centre, and Surfing School.

North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek, and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns.

Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River.

Chy Lowena is a perfect base to explore Pendra Loweth and the surrounding area of Cornwall.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.
