The Hayloft sits within the peaceful grounds of Penmorvah Manor Hotel in Budock Water near Falmouth, giving you a quiet little corner of Cornwall to call your own.
It’s made for two guests, and it works wonderfully as a base if you want the coast nearby and hotel perks within wandering distance.
As the name hints, The Hayloft is tucked away on the first floor, reached by 18 granite steps.
Once you’re inside, the open-plan layout keeps everything simple and straightforward.
You’ll find a kitchen with everything you need for easy meals, a dining area that’s just right for lingering over breakfast, and a sitting space with Freeview TV and a DVD player for those slower evenings when you decide to stay in.
The double bedroom offers a calm spot to end the day, while the contemporary shower room adds a touch of convenience.
When you’re ready for some fresh air, head out to the shared courtyard for your first coffee of the morning, or wander through six acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, ideal for gentle strolls and happy dogs.
If you fancy a treat, the hotel’s lounge, bar, and restaurant are only a short walk away.
With Maenporth Beach, Trebah Gardens, and National Trust Glendurgan all close by, you’ve got plenty to explore at your own pace.

Quite a quirky apartment.
A few minor issues. Drab curtains with insufficient hooks making it difficult to close at night. Very little room around the bed. The shower room was very narrow, anyone above average height would find it difficult to sit on the toilet also the heated towel rail was almost immediately in front of the toilet so you had to sit at an angle to avoid burning your knees. Om the positive side staff on the hotel were very pleasant and it was good that we could use the bar and dining room,which we did on a couple of occasions. Food was very good and reasonable priced. All taken into account we had a very pleasant stay.
This accommodation was ideal for a short break in Cornwall.
The rooms were very comfortable, and spacious, apart from the bathroom which was very snug. The facilities were clean and practical for cooking, and the elevated position gave pleasant views. Being in the grounds of the hotel was certainly a plus point. There is a lot to do in the area.
