  • "We had a fabulous week at this cottage!"

The property was beautifully maintained, with a well-thought-out layout and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions. The hot tub was a particular highlight, providing the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cosy and enjoyable getaway. We'll be back.

  • "Beautiful house, a home away from home."

Would definitely return for another stay. Highlights of the property, hot tub - gorgeous on a cool evening. The open back garden space, great for the kids & dogs. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen.

  • "The property was lovely - very clean and well maintained and had top of the range white goods."

It was comfortable and well laid out. I do however have a couple of criticisms. Firstly I had requested that the two single beds were made up into a double, as there was going to be two couples staying. This had not been done and there was no way of contacting the owners to get this changed. I don’t know if this was a breakdown in communication between Sykes Cottages and the owner, or what but it was frustrating. Secondly, the literature states that fuel for the wood burner would be provided - it wasn’t. Thirdly, the literature in the cottage says we should use our own towels to use the hot tub but online it states that all towels are included. We did not take any of our own towels. Finally, the literature in the cottage states that the hot tub is cleaned out after every booking - it clearly wasn’t because there was sand in the bottom of the tub. These are only minor issues but if the owners state that things are done and provided, it would be nice if that was the case.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and pleased to hear you thought the property lovely. We would like to apologise for Sykes not forwarding the bed request onto our managed service team this is certainly not acceptable. Our housekeepers would have welcomed the opportunity to correct issues if you had let us know at the time. There is a reminder on the key collection details sent out to guest to bring your own beach towels to our properties. Pol Gas Hall supplies a starter pack for the fire and not for the duration of a stay. The hot tub is cleaned and drained, however sometimes as most hot tubs you will find a small amount of sand/grit at the bottom due to the filter and refilling. We would welcome the opportunity to host you again. Kind regards Cornish Cottage Holidays Property Owner

Top spec fittings, amazing views and just so quiet. Absolutely loved our time here and will return, for sure.

  • "A lovely stay at Pol Glass Hall."

Excellent location. Hot tub was delightful after long days. The only down side was the heating was constantly on and all thermostats locked so it was very hot. We did get lucky with the weather though (25 degrees one day) so I dare say it's nice and cosy in the colder months with the heating always on. Would definitely stay there again

  • "What would have been the perfect holiday was spoiled by having no internet connection."

The problem was reported the day after we arrived but was never resolved. We had no mobile signal either so unable to communicate with anyone. I have cameras installed in my 91 year old Mother’s bungalow but was unable to check on her between carers visits. Really disappointed. It could have been such a lovely holiday. Unable to plan days out and book tickets online, it just goes to show how much we rely on the internet.

  • "We had the most beautiful and peaceful week stay thank you so much."

The standard of the property was amazing. We really didn’t want to leave. Stayed all over Cornwall, Lizard was a place we had want to visit for a while. Perfect location for us and the dogs. Would love to return and visit a few places we didn’t get chance. Wanted to write in the visitors book but couldn’t find a pen xxx Thanks again Jenni, Chris and Jacob Dogs

  • "This really is a beautiful property with a lovely open view at the back."

It was imaculate when we arrived and given the cold weather was lovely and warm. There were lovely welcoming touches with Scones, fizz and bathing products but really helpful ones too for the dishwasher & washing up. There were instructions for almost everything that helped. Being 'old school' a radio would be nice, but maybe its not good reception. From a practical point if you bring a dog it needs not to be a 'jumper' given the fence height, but ours got on very well the playful one in the next property. If we were to go again I would probably want the 2 beds joined and use that as the main room as I thought it had a nicer view and easier access to the hot tub. Would definitely recommend this tranquil spot.

  • "Beautiful peaceful location, stunning property, owners have thought of everything."

Poldhu cove, Lizard point, Kynance cove, St ives, Pendennis castle, Mullion harbour all within short drives and easy to get to via pretty country roads. We were very lucky and had beautiful weather for the entire week too. Only slight bit of feedback would be to question why there are temperature panels on the wall with the facility to change the temperature, however these had been locked so we could not turn the temperature down at all, meaning the house was roasting... nothing a few windows being opened couldn't fix but would have been nice to cool the rooms down

  • "We absolutely loved our stay at Pol Glas Hall."

The accommodation was very well equipped with everything we needed, the views were lovely with a secure garden for our dog. There is so much to do in the area and we enjoyed many coastal walks with the most amazing views. It was great to come back and relax in the hot tub and enjoy our evenings in front of the log burner. Would highly recommend.
