  • "Fabulous location and views of Camel estuary."

Sadly.the house in need of a deep clean. Bits of food, including egg and broccoli, remained in kitchen utensils including pos and pans. Outside of fridge needs a good clean. All sorts of dirt behind and under radiators. We took pictures to show the problems. We duly purchased bed clothes, towels and kitchen glove from your subsidiary company. Sadly, what looked a blood stain on a pillow. All very disappointing, particularly as the last John Bray property we stayed in Rock (December 2023) was immaculate. Needless to say, we left Seaworthy in a cleaner state than we found it.we left a faults to fix letter on kitchen table.

  • "I sent a message at the time we were at seaworthy about a blocked rain gutter drain outside, I hope you got the message as it pools against the outside wall of the second tv room and might cause damage."

Your home is stunning and so well equipped. We had such an amazing week’s stay for my husband’s 50th. A very lovely memory maker. Thank you so much. Claire

Daymer Bay Beach - 0.6 miles, Polzeath Beach - 0.8 miles, Rock Beach - 1.5 miles.

Daymer Bay and the village of Trebetherick were both loved by Sir John Betjeman and are unquestionably special. With a huge appeal to both the young and not so young, Daymer Bay has been voted one of the best beaches in the world!

Daymer Bay is dog friendly all year and holds great appeal for wind surfers, kite surfers, paddle boarders and swimmers. There is enormous fun too for small children with buckets, spades and rock pools.

You can walk to Rock (for water skiing, sailing) or Polzeath (for surfing) or maybe just indulge in a spot of retail therapy and a bite to eat at one of the many eateries. From Rock you can catch a short foot ferry and explore the many delights of Padstow.

Explore the South West Coast Path beyond Polzeath for the rugged beauty of Pentire Point and The Rumps with breath taking coastal views and discover the stone plaque where Laurence Binyon wrote

the famous poem "For the Fallen", which was first published in The Times in September 1914. The poem is still recited every evening at 8pm at the Menin Gate by a British serviceman after the first part of the "Last Post". The recital is followed by a minute of silence.
