  • "Unbelievable holiday home."

Views are breathtaking. Wonderful facilities. Couldn't wish for anything better...maybe an escalator down to the beach..be warned. You'll be fit, walking back up that hill. X

Dear Mrs Brown, thank you so much for your lovely comments following your holiday at Beach View and so good to hear you thought the facilities at the property were wonderful and the views really are breath-taking. The hill can be quite steep coming back up…but this can facilitate an extra Cornish Cream Tea during your stay! We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future. Kind regards, The Carbis bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "Beach view was amazing with wonderful views and easy access to the town and beaches."

We were particularly impressed with how clean, comfortable and homely the place was. We had everything we could have hoped for at Beach View and we all had a fantastic restful break. We will definitely be returning.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you had such a wonderful stay and loved the property just as much as we do! We look hope to welcome you back in the near future. Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "The property, decor, furnishings and equipment were fabulous and the view fantastic."

The only negative is that the property is described as having the full Sky package but without the PIN number (which was understandably refused), the full package is only available after 9pm. I suggest the description is changed.

Dear Deana, thank you for your Feedback following your recent stay at Beach View and I’m so pleased to hear you thought it was fantastic and glad that you enjoyed the wonderful views over Porthminster Beach. With regards to the Sky Package, I am pleased to confirm the property does have the full package, however as with all Sky packages some programmes have restricted viewing times which have been set by Ofcom and are controlled by a mandatory PIN. These restrictions are on a sliding scale throughout the day with all progammes able to be viewed after the 9.00 pm wa-ershed. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this but unfortunately we are unable to give out the PIN as this would enable access to the Owners personal Sky account. • "The views were exceptional."

The best we’ve had in 5 different stays at St Ives. The layout and general property experience was excellent. However, the sofas were uncomfortable, the kitchen cookware etc was not adequate for family cooking and there was very little clothes storage. Not providing more than a handful of hangers on a pole in each room was a gross under estimation on the owners part. Finally, the road noise was very noticeable. We’ve stayed in other properties on the same road, but there was a significant noise from passing vehicles at night in this property.

Dear Mr Wilson, Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback to us. Its great to hear you enjoyed the views, they really are amazing from this property. In regard to the points you have raised; We will pass on your points to the housekeeper and owner, and they will be actioned accordingly. We are sorry to hear that you found the road noise noticeable, we sincerely hope that the location and view made up for this. Once again, we hope you had a wonderful holiday and we look forward to inviting you back in the future. Kind Regards, Owner Relations, Carbis Bay Holidays Property Owner

  • "Property and situation were beautiful, clean and stunning but please note the following constructive comments: 1) Practical shortage of usable coffee table space 2) very disappointed at lack of recycling facilities on site 3) initial access instructions when arriving by car from the east with security chain in place were inadequate at best and dangerous when considering the prevalent traffic."

  • "Fabulous property, with great views across St Ives Bay."

Could have done with lighter duvets as the bedrooms were warm and due to the proximity of the twin room to the road we were unable to open the window. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent my only request would be for sharper knifes. We were a group of six adults and the space was comfortable but ideally a zip and link bed in the twin room would have been a nice option.

  • "Nespresso coffee machine would have been a fab and well missed addition!"

Having to strip the beds and check out by 9am is a nightmare ask! Parking space did not account for roof boxes and we were not told this so after a long and tiring drive we nearly bashed our roof box and after the long drive having to take it off to fit under the parking space was not welcome! Please consider this for your guests! Tbanks thanks

  • "Great location as so close to town and beach - Beautiful house and was plenty of space for us all."

Only things I would change are sharper knives needed and a bigger comfier sofas - as there were 5 adults it was a bit uncomfortable in the evenings but still loved it - immaculately clean and beautiful bedding/towels which is always a winner for me.

  • ""Stayed here in October ,the property is amazing and you can see that the owners have taken great pride in the property ,very nicely furnished and you could see no expense spared."

Rooms all very spacious .The views are outstanding and make this property ideal if you just want a restful day indoors .The property is a short walk into the centre of St Ives via a couple of routes or even along the beach . Would definitely stay here again ,totally felt like a home rather than just a holiday rental ."

  • ""The house is modern, clean and has the most outstanding views over the bay."

It is located on the main road into St Ives . I would suggest that the location is not ideal for those with mobility issues. The beach and town are a 10 min walk away. It is quite a steep incline on the way back. Beds were comfortable and sitting areas ideal with views over the beach. Highly enjoyable stay and would probably return. "

Staying at the aptly named, Beach View, will offer exactly what it promises in a wonderful setting and if you are tempted to explore, so much more right on your doorstep.
