  • "The house was very comfortable well laid out, however there was no WiFi in the top room, and it took me 15 minutes to find the cutlery drawer."

Apart from having to walk up and down the hill it was close enough to the town centre and harbour to be able to leave the car behind.

  • "The property was exactly as described."

Very comfortable and well equipped. But the lack of a bathroom near the upper bedroom and the long climb up the hill from town was a challenge for us older guests

  • "Very clean & modernised house, all the facilities you could reasonably expect."

Good position with easy access to the seafront (short puff up & down hill) & also easy to get in & out of town by the back roads

  • "Beautiful house, has been updated, lovely new kitchen and bathroom."

Very comfortable and well equipped. Gorgeous views of St ives. Parking space was a bonus. We will definitely be staying here again

Upgrade to the bathroom was very good a much needed job the only fly in the ointment was the bed quilt cover was far bigger than the quilt and most of the buttons wear missing made the bed feel uncomfortable other than that it was very good

I apologise that you found that the duvet cover was not a good fit for the duvet causing you discomfort. I did change my Housekeepers in May this year so hopefully there will be no further issues of this nature. Property Owner

  • "A very comfortable and clean house with fantastic views and a short walk to St Ives Town and beaches."

The house is very well equipped, it has everything you could need and its very handy to have a parking space outside. This is the 3rd time I've stayed at Breaker's Point, and it"s never disappointed me.

Thank you for your feedback and I am pleased that you have always enjoyed your stays at Breakers Point. Property Owner

  • "Beautiful property and in a very good position, plus lovely to have a parking space!"

We really appreciated the welcome pack and milk in the fridge, thank you so much. Would highly recommend.

  • "We had the most wonderful holiday at Breakers Point."

The house is immaculate and it seemed that everything was brand new in the house. Every facility needed for a perfect holiday was provided. The furniture, fittings and the most amazing comfortable beds had been given careful consideration .We had a lovely view from the Loft bedroom and even enjoyed watching the seagulls and their fledglings on the roof. The toaster blew the fuse but within the hour "Helping Hands Service arrived after contacting them about the problem. A new toaster arrived the next day from Amazon so you can see the owner cares very much and wants the clients to have the best service. We did have some rain during our stay so the TV and Netflix and Sky Service was an added bonus when we couldn't get out. An amazing property and we will be back sometime in the future I am sure of it. Thank You Best Wishes Lynette Jones

The property

Breakers Point is a modern townhouse in St Ives that boasts sea views and sits minutes from Porthmeor Beach.

Located in an enviable position, it is well-placed to explore by foot the joys of Cornwall's most famous seaside town, and makes an idyllic sanctuary for family, friends and couples.

There is an open plan living room with a home-from-home vibe, with a dining area and kitchen.

The first floor hosts the twin (zip and link to king-size bed on request) and smart bathroom with a separate shower cubicle, and the top floor the second bedroom with dual aspect sea vista.

There is a sunspot patio area at the front with a bistro table and chairs for alfresco dining.

St Ives is almost surrounded by the sea and boasts an array of golden beaches.

The largest is Porthmeor Beach, a short downhill walk and great for surfing, swimming, sandcastles and the best sunsets in town.

Book a surf lesson, reserve a table at the beachside restaurant or visit the iconic Tate St Ives gallery located next to the beach.

Stroll into the hub of the town and discover cobbled streets with boutique shops, art galleries and tempting cafes, inns and restaurants.

Head for the seafront and soak up the harbour atmosphere and spy a curious seal or dolphin amid the fishing and pleasure boats.

Tall granite cliffs, wild moorland, hidden coves and fascinating wildlife are some of the wonders to be encountered on the south west coast path and the nearby landmark attractions at Land's End, St Michael's Mount and The Minack Theatre present opportunities for a very memorable holiday experience.

Perfectly located for enjoying a myriad of coastal capers, Breakers Point has it all!

ST IVES

Penzance 6 miles.

One of Cornwall's prettiest harbour towns, St Ives offers narrow streets, tight-packed cottages nestling around the quayside, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum, fabulous beaches, superb shops, a thriving community of artists, great pubs and restaurants and much more. With its semi Bohemian lifestyle and romantic air, it's easy to see why this is the county's premier holiday resort. The surrounding area has much for the visitor to see and do with abundant wildlife, fabulous coastal walks, top quality surfing and the Celtic mysteries of the Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach. A superb destination!
