  • "Lovely property with beautiful views over St Ives harbour."

Perfect location with easy access to the beach (albeit down a very steep road!) and town. We loved the apartment, easy parking, very clean, modern decoration and with everything we needed for a great family holiday. Highly recommended.

  • "Amazing property with amazing views, perfect for the train station, beach and a lovely 10-15 minute walk into St Ives."

Otherwise it's easy to access just after driving through Carbis Bay. The parking space was very useful and allowed us to use the apartment as a base. I really couldn't recommend this place more and we'd love to stay again in the future. I'm just sorry we didn't leave a note in the guest book as we didn't have a pen! :( Thanks!

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you loved the property and your stay! Thank you so much again for your comments and we look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Kinds Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "Stunning views from the living room and master bedroom."

A close walk to Porthmister beach and into St Ives was a real plus as was having a parking space at the property. This meant we didn't need to take the car into St Ives at all. Beds were very confortable and kitchen was very well equipped.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your wonderful feedback. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay. We hope to welcome you back in the near future. Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "The property was spotlessly clean."

The add for the pearl did not do justice to the spectacular view. There was lovely touches to welcome us to ‘The Pearl’ which also was our 30th wedding anniversary (pearl). Our holiday was really nice thanks to how well the accommodation was located and we even had the weather.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. The views and location are stunning and we are so pleased to hear you had the weather too! Happy Anniversary from all at Carbis Bay Holidays. We hope to welcome you back again soon. Best Regards The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "The Pearl was just as described."

The views from the living area and master bedroom are spectacular. Very much a home from home, everything is provided for a very comfortable stay. Just minutes to both Porthminster beach and into St Ives town, St Ives other beaches also accessible on foot, we barely used our car, other than for a day out to Porthleven. The parking space very much appreciated, its so difficult to find a property with parking in St Ives. We also enjoyed a costal walk to Carbis Bay, only half an hour from the property. A wonderful week, many thanks!

Dear Mrs Austin, Thank you for your feedback. We are so pleased to hear you had a wonderful week. The Pearl and its views are spectacular! Best Regards The Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

It’s confusing when some of the other properties have access to this. Otherwise comfortable property with great facilities and incredible position!

  • "The Pearl is a lovely apartment with stunning views over Porthminster beach and St Ives."

The apartment is very clean, spacious and well equipped. St Ives is within walking distance. Like another reviewer, we also found the bed quite uncomfortable. It could do with a mattress topper and some thicker pillows. That being said to wake up to the view made it more bearable. We would recommend and hope to come back to St Ives soon.

Dear Ms McDuff, Firstly, thank you for taking the time to complete feedback request regarding your recent stay at The Pearl. Its lovely to hear you had an enjoyable holiday and you would recommend. The Pearl is in a brilliant location; not far to stroll into St Ives or down the Porthminster beach, and then the ease of being able to explore the rest of Cornwall. We look forward to inviting you back in the near future, Kind Regards, Owner Relations Team, Carbis Bay Holidays Property Owner

  • "Great holiday in a very well positioned apartment."

The views from the apartment are fantastic!! The apartment is very spacious and we really enjoyed our stay. We do feel though that come improvements could be made. Firstly a comfy bed! the apparent ‘king size’ bed was smaller than expected ( feet hanging out the end) and very hard and lumpy so we didn’t sleep as well as we could have. Also there’s no where to hang and dry wetsuits, this would be hugely beneficial given the location, and we felt the storage cupboard upstairs could make a good drying room. The bin in the kitchen is rubbish and needs replacing, and lack of recycling was also very disappointing. We did had a fabulous holiday and would love to come back (if the bed was changed) but looking at the prices for next year and how they’ve hiked up, I don’t think we will!

Dear Ms Flanagan, Firstly, thank you for taking the time to complete feedback request. Its lovely to hear you had an enjoyable holiday. Please be assured we will note the points you have raised and action accordingly. In regard to the prices, there has been a huge demand for stay-cations this year and for 2022, which has increased prices in line with other letting agencies throughout the country. Prices also vary in line with the way school holiday weeks fall, and are also subject to annual price reviews. We would like to reassure you that the prices for 2022 are all monitored very closely and priced with seasonal variance and demand to establish the right balance. We look forward to inviting you back in the near future, Kind Regards, Owner Relations Team, Carbis Bay Holidays Property Owner
