  • "Absoutly brilliant accommodation, I would highly recommend this to any family looking for a getaway."

We had two children aged 4 and 5 aswell aswell as a 9 month old baby and there was plenty of room for all of us. The grass area outside the accommodation was brilliant for the children and easy to keep an eye on them. It was very clean and together. The only few things I would say is, there were no towels or hand towels and there was no travel cot but this was easily sorted, pop up to the bar and they can provide one. I also booked this very last minute, so didnt really give the owner opportunity to put towels and a travel cot in so its completely on me. Il sure they would have sorted it had I give them more time and notice. Overall experience was absoutly brilliant. If you are looking at reviews before booking it, just book it! You will not be disappointed. Thankyou for a lovely stay and will be booking again in the future.

Hi Sam I am delighted to hear that you had a wonderful stay at our lodge. This is our little bolt hole so great to hear you enjoyed your break. I’m sorry to hear that there were no towels at the lodge. There should have been. I had recently left and was aware that I hadn’t left towels out as this is sorted when we know how many guests will be staying, and at the time I had no bookings and so checked if everything was in place for your stay when I received notice from Sykes, so an unfortunate over site I’m afraid and am sorry for this. We do actually have a travel cot at the lodge, but hadn’t been made aware that one was required on your booking details. Pleased you managed to find one though. I am very happy to take calls from guests during a stay if there are questions or problems as this is always best and I will always endeavour to sort things from my end as Parkdean merely provide the pitch. Thank you once again for your glowing review and I would love to welcome you back perhaps in the future. Best regards Cathy Property Owner

  • "Really liked the property."

Spacious for the 5 of us plus dog. Good location. The grandchildren enjoyed the facilities on the site. Recommend TV in lounge be checked for channels. A bit hit & miss whether the BBC channels had a decent signal. The TV in main bedroom didn’t switch on (not a problem for us). The hot water supply to showers was a little intermittent - hot for a while, then a burst of cold.

  • "Disappointed we had to pay for wifi and use of club facilities- not warned."

Poor television signal. So pleased I wasn’t a Wimbledon fan.

Hi Richard Sorry to hear about your comments regarding the charging of the facilities and the poor aerial signal. I have recently visited my lodge and found the cable to be a little loose in the socket, I think it may have been knocked by the cleaner. I will update my information accordingly with regard to club memberships and WiFi. There is free WiFi but it only supports 2-3 devices I understand. Thank you for your feedback Regards Cathy Property Owner
