  • "Beautiful holiday lodge in a lovely quiet area but ideally placed for access to the A39 and A30."

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. The park is just perfect for dogwalks or a very short drive to Daymer Bay or Rock Beach for a safe place to let your dogs run free! Would highly recommend and we've already booked for Spring next year!

Thank you so much for your review-so pleased to know that even Storm Bert couldn’t spoil your stay. Always a pleasure to welcome you back. Property Owner

Most well equipped holiday rental I've ever stayed in, the grandson loved it there despite the weather not being so good, the owner was at hand we had a small problem with the oven, witch was rectified straight away, 10 out ov 10 from me and will be returning next year Thanks to Maggie, a great stay

So pleased that you enjoyed your stay - sorry that the oven ‘died’ on your last day (brand new one now fitted). Delighted to see that you have already booked for next year! Property Owner

Spotlessly clean, and a real home! We enjoyed the games and books in the property on rainy days. It is set in a fantastic quiet part of the park, and is just a short drive to beaches and Rock and Polzeath. Communication with the owner before arriving was fantastic. We'll definitely be rebooking to return!

  • "High Tide is a great lodge, with everything you could possibly need for a family break."

Everything is to a really high standard with a really generous living space. The only slight drawback is the wifi is a bit hit and miss as it's 4G. The Parkdean holiday park is ok with a decent pool. The arcade and restaurant, however felt a bit unloved. The shop prices were, as usual with these places, ridiculous.

Very clean and comfortable, very well equipped. The downfall for us was the varanda the fencing had gaps, which our dog could actually get through because he was small .however, this was my own fault, not the owners. We still had a good holiday, including Barney .

Decking not dog proof. Otherwise excellent in every way!

Thank you for the feedback- we will certainly look at the vacuum cleaner asap. Thanks for letting us know. You must have a very adventurous dog! None of our family dogs has ever dared leap through and down but there’s always a first (and the occasional rabbits can be really tempting). So pleased that all other aspects were fine though. The field was very peaceful . The advert didn’t make it clear it was on a rather large holiday camp; the pictures only show one field . The pool was the main reason for making this booking over other holiday let’s. So it was disappointing with very limited access to the pool !! I had to sleep on the floor after one night on the double bed as it really aggravated my bad back as the mattress is so soft! ( I realise some people may prefer this. )

...). The beds were extremely comfortable; our 11 year old grandson loved having his own bathroom, and an en-suite to the main bedroom was very nice. The living area was extremely spacious, light and airy. A couple of small points for the maintenance team (they are NOT complaints, merely comments) - the mirror light in the en-suite bathroom does not work and the mother/daughter standard light in the living area needs a new bulb for the daughter light. The whole area is extremely quiet and peaceful, and we liked the fact that the shop/swimming pool etc. were close by, but far enough away not to mean there were loads of people wandering about in 'our' part of the site. The location is good, too. Only a couple of miles from Rock or Polzeath and loads of other places to visit within easy driving distance. Excellent all round - we were only there for three nights, but would have been happy to stay longer.
