  • "We had a wonderful stay at Pentire."

The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped with so many places to visit nearby. The welcome bag of goodies was very much appreciated and the secure garden was a bonus as we had our dog with us. We would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to family & friends.

We are so pleased you loved your stay with us. Thank you for the write up in the guest book too. Next time come back for longer and explore the rest of the area. We look forward to welcoming you back! Property Owner

Very clean & comfortable. Everything high quality & lovely. We had a really hot week. Visited all the place that we love & return to. Daymer Bay, Polzeath, Rock, Padstow & Porthilly. Wadebridge is a lovely little town too. We have had a really lovely week. Thank you for the goody bag which was very welcome after a long journey & a lovely touch. I am sure that we will be back again next year. Love this place & the best dog friendly property that we have stayed in.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Pentire in the first week of June 26', sadly the weather was not on our side but this just serves to underline what a lovely comfortable and well appointed house this is."

If you don't want to go out you have everything you need. The surrounding area is great with Rock a 5 minute drive and Padstow 30 minutes away. The beaches are great especially if you have a four legged member of the family. We stayed here some years ago and thought we'd give it another go , we weren't disappointed and will be rebooking next year.

So pleased you enjoyed the home - we try to have it just perfect for our lovely visiting families! Please do come again soon. Property Owner

Park up on the spacious driveway with off-road parking for three cars, before unloading your bags and stepping into Pentire to begin your holiday.

Upon entering the property, you will find a handy cloakroom, ideal for avoiding those morning bathroom queues!

Continue through where you will find the generous open-plan living space, here you can look forward to relaxing on the large corner sofa in front of your favourite film, as the woodburning stove warms the open space.

As stomachs begin to rumble, assert yourself as head chef in the fully-equipped kitchen, with Smart fridge/freezer, electric oven with grill and induction hob, and set to work preparing tasty meals, as your guests uncork a bottle of wine and set the table.

Settle down to tuck-in at the extendable dining table, before toasting to a wonderful getaway.

Just off the kitchen is a convenient utility which houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, so you don’t have to bring your whole wardrobe away with you!

If you’re not ready for the evening to end, savour the last of the day’s sunshine out in the private enclosed garden with barbecue.

As the evening cools, climb the stairs to the first-floor where you can sink back into a toasty bath, as your towel warms on the heated towel rail nearby.

Take your pick of three well-presented bedrooms to catch your rest in, a king-size with Smart TV, en-suite shower room and a balcony, a king-size with Smart TV and a twin with charming nautical décor.

Wake-up and sip on a steaming cup of coffee out on the balcony as you soak up your peaceful surroundings.

For those lazy evenings, why not skip the kitchen and head to the nearby Fourways Inn, an excellent 18th-century pub serving up tasty and affordable food?

Or if cooking is your happy place, be sure to visit the local well-stocked convenience store in Rock or Polzeath to stock up on ingredients for a meal that will ‘wow’ your guests.

Pack-up your swimming trunks, bathing suits, buckets and spades and head to the beautiful beach of Polzeath, where you can try your hand at surfing, paddle the shores, build sandcastles with the little ones or simply sit back and relax.

If you cannot get enough of the beach action, the nearby coastal village of Rock boasts its own beautiful beach, as well as a sailing and water ski club for the adventure seekers in your group.

For any members of your party who have brought their clubs along, Rock offers the excellent St Enodoc Golf Club with a fantastic course and equally stunning views over the River Camel.

Be sure to make time to visit the picturesque village of Port Isaac, where you can watch the fishermen bring in their catch of the day, take in the breath-taking scenery from the top of the village or embark on an outdoor activity with Cornish Rock Tors.

Promising an unforgettable holiday in the heart of Cornwall, choose Pentire.
