    Welcome pack was much appreciated including treats for our dogs. Everything you need for a relaxing break and good location for travelling around Cornwall. Would definitely recommend and will rebook in the future.

  • "The hosts Mike and Bernie live next door and were always on hand if you needed anything without being overbearing, the location of the property is perfect for trip out to the surrounding areas, many beautiful beaches being only 15 minutes away plus only an hour to lands end, the property itself was incredibly clean and very very comfortable, we slept like logs every night, the house had every modern appliance you could need and all with any instructions you may need , to top it all you receive a Beautiful gift basket with scones,cream,jam, Cornish fudge and treats for your dogs."

    All in all I would highly recommend this property and its hosts for anybody wishing to stay in Cornwall for a holiday, I will certainly be booking it again in the future, Craig

  • "This was the perfect holiday cottage; probably the best that we have ever stayed in."

    The cottage was well equipped. The owner made us feel at home in the cottage. It was perfectly placed for easy access to everywhere we wanted to go and due to the location was probably perfect for access to most parts of Cornwall. The owner left us welcoming gifts which included dog treats. It is the perfect holiday cottage for dog owners. We will book this again when we next come to Cornwall.

  • "We had such a lovely stay at beagle cottage!"

    Clean, tidy, cosy and welcoming! Treats were even left for us which is always lovely! Really good location and close to all the places we wanted to visit. Fish and chip shop was close and was probably the best chips I've ever had! We would love to come back next year..there is not one thing we could fault with this cottage..the best cottage we've ever stayed in ! Xx

  • "We absolutely loved our stay at Beagle Cottage."

    It was the perfect little escape for me, my mum, and our 3 dogs. The cottage was spotless, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The location was ideal for exploring Cornwall, and it was so dog-friendly – a real bonus! We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already rebooked for next year. Highly recommend!

  • "We had a great week at Beagle Cottage, Bernice,Mike, Gus and Cooper were incredibly welcoming."

    The cottage is in the perfect location for exploring, and on Goss Moor there are two herds of wild ponies - i would highly recommend. The cottage was decorated to a high standard, and felt like a home away from home. The welcome gifts were very much appreciated Thank you for a lovely week :) Now I’m home I have Cornwall blues

  • "What a treasure of a find."

    Bernie and Mike have put so much effort to make this place feel like home. All the little touches and attention to detail made this place truly the best we have ever visited. A cream tea waiting for us on arrival. Little gifts to make you feel special. Slippers, sweets(a big chuppa chup tree) chocolate a lovely little bag. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness. The decor was lush. A warm friendly welcome on arrival. Geography wise you are perfectly placed for a 40 min drive to most places.

    The cottage was literally home from home and had everything that you need. It was clean, spacious and very well maintained. The owners were near if we needed them (we didn’t) and the cottage was in a great location, based centrally to everywhere you would want to visit in Cornwall. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

  • "Our 2 week stay at beagle cottage was fantastic, hosts Bernice and Mike were so friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of information about the area."

    The cottage was beautifully decorated, clean and relaxing. We took our 3 small dogs they settled in very well. A lovely surprise when we arrived of scones, jam cream etc and even some doggie treats! Highly recommend beagle cottage it's in a perfect central position to visit lots of places around newquay and Cornwall.

Beagle Cottage is a detached, two-bedroom property situated near to the village of Fraddon, on Goss Moor, Cornwall.

Conveniently located just off the A30 in the heart of Cornwall, Beagle Cottage is in an excellent touring location for for families or two couples looking to escape from everyday life.

Step through the door of Beagle Cottage and be welcomed by an abundance of natural light and a spacious, open-plan living space.

The kitchen is well-equipped for your culinary needs, with a dining table for four for a sophisticated dinner or a light lunch.

Enjoy a movie night with loved ones on the plush sofa in the sitting area, with a Smart TV.

The door leads to the enclosed gravelled garden, which is a perfect spot for an evening tipple whilst your canine companions stretch their legs. Head upstairs, where you will find two double bedrooms, each offering views of the neighbouring field; you might even spot some wild deer!

On the ground floor, a shower room can be found, ideal for an invigorating rinse.

Lace up your walking boots and explore Goss Moor, a 480-hectare National Nature Reserve, offering a 7-mile circular trail that is mostly flat and perfect for novice walkers and cyclists.

Just under two miles away is Fraddon, an idyllic Cornish village with a retail park hosting major retail shops and an excellent local pub, The Blue Anchor Inn.

If you’re holidaying as a family, keep them occupied with a visit to the seaside town of Newquay where there are superb beaches, coastal walks, an aquarium and local museum, plus a fantastic selection of eateries and independent shops.

FRADDON

Newquay 8 miles; Truro 10 miles.

A typically Cornish village, just eight miles from the lively resort of Newquay with its outstanding nightlife and renowned surfing beaches. Little traffic now passes through the village, which at one time was on the old coaching route to London. The surrounding area has much to interest visitors, with stunning gardens, historic houses, superb coastal walking and sandy beaches, several theme and leisure parks and of course Newquay’s famous zoo and sea life centre. Spend a day at the National Surf Centre on Fistral beach, hit the shops in nearby Truro with its cathedral and cobbled streets or savour the atmosphere and experience of the tropical rainforest at the Eden Project (16 miles). There’s something for everyone in this great holiday area.
