"50° North provided the perfect base for us to enjoy an event-packed week in Cornwall!"
Set in a lovely quiet space, on the edge of St Just.
The accommodation had everything that we required, whilst away from home!
The owner thoughtfully dropped off a fan that was much appreciated; it was a very hot spell of weather!!
This is a great place to stay, for visiting either places right on your doorstep (Cape Cornwall, Land's End, St Michael'sMount), or further afield (Tintagel, Eden Project, The Lizard... we did them all!).
At the risk of repeating myself... 50° North is a nice, quiet place to enjoy an exploratory holiday out of!

"Nicely presented property."
Peaceful and quiet place.
Suggest upgrading the shower,as not very powerful. Extractor fan doesn't work, also suggest a non-slip mat in the shower tray.
Thank you for your comments. With regards to the shower, we haven’t had any complaints before regarding this. The shower is an electric shower and has never been advertised as a power shower. If you had contacted us regarding the non slip mat we would have been more than happy to supply one for you. The extractor fan does work, A quick call/text to us and would have happily popped over to sort it out for you.
Many thanks

"What a wonderful place!"
The perfect location for exploring the local beaches and mining history… so great that the coast path was just a short walk down the lane. Everything was just as described and beautifully put together.

"Fifty Degrees North is a calm, quiet, relaxing retreat ideally located to visit Cornwalls beautiful coastline."
The decor is modern and fresh and the little seating area outside is ideal to sit out after a day's exploring. The owners thoughtfully left us a welcome package of wine and scones with jam and clotted cream which was really appreciated after our long journey. We will definitely be back for another relaxing break x

"Beautiful decorated and lovely style throughout."
Great location, very good use of space, all things thought of. Would like a bigger bed (husband is 6ft 2) but given the space understandable so not a critique at all just a preference - lovely stay thank you

"Lovely holiday let, ideal for 2 people."
Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Everything you need and all in excellent condition. Vickie the owner responded immediately to a request for an additional item for which we were very grateful. Great area to visit full of Cornish history and look forward to hopefully going again.

Loved the views down to the sea.
Fifty degrees north was so comfortable, the bed especially! Seemed very new and well equipped in the kitchen area. TV options were great. Bathroom. Perfect for single occupants to couples.

"A perfect base for 2 and a dog walking the SW Coast Path."
Location very near to coast path and completed St Ives to Landsend on our weeks stay with little time spent in the car.
Well equipped property with everything provided and welcome cream tea on arrival.
Smallish patio area to rear but sufficient for us. The only point I would say is if you want to sit outside (which we didn't do that much as we were out most of the day) take a couple of more comfy chairs. Apart from that small point cannot fault this property as it was very reasonable for a weeks stay in May.

"It is very compact but we expected that and everything in there was good quality and clean."
The welcome pack was very good especially for the dog but we found the sofa very uncomfortable which could be us. The bed though was very comfortable. Our biggest problem was the bathroom which we found very cold and specifically the shower which even on the highest setting was barely warm. Also the outdoor space was neglected and full of weeds. Although no sea view it was an easy 25 minute walk to a sensational stretch of coast. If the shortcomings could be corrected it would be a lovely little bolt hole
Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you found everything was of good quality and clean. However, we were disappointed that you chose to score only 50% for cleanliness when you stated it was clean. We pride ourselves in how we present all our properties and they are clean to a very high standard. The sofa, in your opinion, being uncomfortable is subjective and if we get any other complaints we will look to change it as this is the first time it has been brought to our attention. The bathroom has a heater which when used keeps the ambient temperature very comfortable. We also subsequently checked the shower and it works fine. We have had no other complaints. With regards to the courtyard, it is of brick design and only has a few pots and is not neglected. Finally it would have been nice for you to have contacted us about any issues and we would have been more than happy to assist you rather than leaving it till after your stay was over and giving us the only poor review. Thank you.

"We loved our week in this warm and cosy property."
It was very well-equipped. The shower room and the kitchen facilities were first-class and the bed was very comfortable. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming - even the sun tried its hardest most days. We know this area pretty well so we were delighted with the location of this property. It's straightforward to walk into St Just for a coffee and it's well situated to walk out onto the coastal path: many thanks.
