"We enjoyed our stay at the stables very much, the weather wasn't great so it was lovely to have somewhere comfortable and well equipped to return to."
Our little dog settled in very well and enjoyed the enclosed small outdoor space.
Location was good with good walks nearby, would definately recommend it.

"It was a pleasure to meet our hosts Mike and Ady."
Our accomodation was lovely, clean and well furnished. The facilities were excellent and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. There was 2 terraces for sitting and enjoying the sun and fresh air. The top terrace was very relaxing and a brilliant sun trap. All said it was a very lovely place to stay and we would stay again. Well worth a visit. Best Karl Angela and the dogs Maisie and Dotty

"The Stables had everything that is required for a very comfortable and enjoyable long weekend in a beautiful area of Cornwall."
It's perfect for walkers with the coastal walk nearby and plenty to explore along the nearby Tinners' Way. Mike and Ady are great hosts who made it clear that they were available if we needed anything at all. We highly recommend The Stables and if there wasn't so much of Cornwall to explore we would definitely be going back!

"After enjoying our stay at the Stables last October we came back for two weeks this time."
We’ve had a great holiday, didn’t use the car at all as the accommodation is ideal for St Just amenities and for superb walks in various directions. The bus stop just outside is also very convenient to travel further afield. We never tire of the West Penwith stunning scenery.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Stables, it was comfortable, warm and had everything we needed."
We mostly walked from the property out onto the coastal path and around the local area but there is plenty to do within a short drive as well. Rufus and Gertie were lovely neighbours, always ready to greet us and sample whatever dog treats we had in our pockets! Mike and Ady were lovely hosts, many thanks for the local info and also for the super welcome pack. A superb place to stay in West Cornwall.

It is well equipped with lovely little touches. A beautiful conversion very well thought out. Bright and airy and so comfortable. Our little dog loved it too. The pubs and cafes in St Just centre are lovely, and we did a trip to St Ives on the bus.
Would highly recommend this property.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stables."
The barn conversion has been done beautifully, with lots of lovely touches. It is cosy, very well equipped with everything one needs and a very comfortable bed. Some tasty Cornish treats left for us were greatly appreciated. It was good to meet friendly Rufus and Gerty. The Stables are ideally placed to pop into St Just across the fields or exploring further afield. Being keen walkers, we didn’t need to use the car all week as there are so many beautiful walks right from the doorstep and the bus stop is just outside. Altogether an excellent week. We’d definitely love to come back. Thank you Adie and Mike.

"Perfect accommodation in a great location."
The Stables is spacious, comfortable, stylish and full of character. The owner has taken great care to provide everything needed.
It was ideally located for us to be able to leave the car behind and easily walk from the door to many beautiful places. The coast path is stunning, and unspoiled in this area. We especially enjoyed the circular walk to Cape Cornwall, and the walk to the Botallack mines. The shops and cafés in St Just were also a pleasant short walk across the fields.

"Lovely nice clean property ideal for a couple and 4 legged friend, plenty of local walks straight from the front gate."
Hosts were very approachable and gave lots of local ideas where to go,eat etc. Just a nice 10 min walk across a field into St Just for drinks cafes and pubs to eat in. Highly recommended.

"The property was more compact than the photos depicted but still a lovely place to stay."
Fully kitted kitchen with every day equipment to use.y husband did find the settee a bit on the short side height wise due to being a bit taller than average. It was light which made it feel a little bit more spacious given how compact the living area was. The bedroom & shower room were a good size. Plenty of light coming through skylights , windows & a french door leading to a top patio area. I did find the stairs slightly narrow being a plus size woman so made it awkward to carry my frenchiecross dog up them( he's not good going upstairs) so I took him up the outside steps at the side of the property to be with us on the outside upstairs patio . The patio at the front was a good size & lovely seating area to wind down after a busy day exploring Cornwall. Mike & Ady were very friendly & chatty as well as being helpful when we asked for places to go with our dog. They're dogs were also very friendly Rufus & Gerty. All in all we had a lovely relaxing time at The Stables. Would book it again in the future. Thanks for a lovely week stay Jacque & Matt & Rocco
