The property

St Merryn 2.1 miles.

Lazy Days is a lovely bungalow situated in St Merryn Park, just outside the village of St Merryn, Cornwall, and only four miles from the famous fishing port of Padstow.

Ideal for families and friends to enjoy a lovely break on the spectacular north Cornish coast, this property boasts ground-floor living and sea views.

As you enter this spacious cottage, there is a well-equipped kitchen, with a welcoming home-from-home feeling greeting you, following through into the open plan, charming sitting room with dining areas.

There are three bedrooms, a double benefiting from en-suite facilities and a large walk-in wardrobe, with two singles next to the family bathroom.

Outside, there is a large patio which runs down the side and back of the cottage as well as a picnic bench outside the decking area, meaning that whatever time of day, you should be able to find a spot in the sun to unwind with a cup of coffee or dine alfresco.

In the mornings, get ready using the en-suite shower room in the double bedroom or have a soak in the main bathroom.

At nearby St Merryn, the Cornish Arms, owned by Rick Stein, is an ideal spot for a meal in the evening after a day on the beach, with a large beer garden for summer and log fires for autumn and winter.

Nearby Padstow will be top of most people’s places to visit, and you will see why.

A charming working fishing port surrounded by glorious sandy beaches with cafes, pubs and restaurants ranging from fish and chips to Michelin stars.

A must-do is to get the ferry over to the village of Rock and wander down the white sandy beaches, admiring the spectacular scenery, before returning to Rock for lunch at one of the eateries.

For the sports-minded, there is a popular watersports centre with sailing, windsurfing, water skiing and canoeing all on offer.

With Padstow also being the starting or finishing point of the Camel Trail, cyclists are well catered for, with a beautiful, nearly level, 18-mile trail passing through some of the most spectacular countryside you will ever see.

Walkers will need no introduction to the world-famous South West Coast Path, offering amazing views and great walking in whatever direction you head.

With so much to do and see, Lazy Days is a wonderful year-round holiday destination.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £250.
