"We all had a lovely 4 nights at the Foxes Den, the cottage was warm and inviting."

Dog friendly. The kids loved the big toy cupboard, the walks to the beaches. We didn’t need to venture far to the shops. The lost Heligan Gardens was a short drive from the cottage . All the family would love to go back and stay again. Many Thanks The Tuckers

We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such lovely feedback, and so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Hopefully we’ll see you and your family back again in the future. Property Owner

"Excellent spacious and clean accommodation with everything we needed for a wonderful weeks holiday in Cornwall."

Each bedroom has its own en-suite and lovely comfortable bed with clean fresh quilt and pillows. The kitchen was nice and big in an open plan sitting area with every facility needed for our family plus the dog. The surrounding area was in a lovely countryside / farm setting with a lovely view of the sea in a nearby field. There are 3 nearby wonderful and quiet sandy beaches within 15 minutes walk, all great for swimming, fishing or just relaxing in the sun. Just a short drive away are lots of coves, villages and beaches, plus the lost gardens of heligan. We had a great stay here and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be aiming to come back here again when we next visit Cornwall on holiday.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted that you had such a fabulous week and enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. We look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner

Cottage was really comfortable, including the beds, and a lovely welcome pack. Sandra was extremely helpful in providing any information we needed. Recommend The Crown pub for good food, and not very far to drive to.

GORRAN HAVEN

Mevagissey 3 miles.

Once a crab fishing village, Gorran Haven on the south coast of Cornwall is ideally placed to explore the many beaches and coves in the area. Gorran Haven has a small sandy beach set behind a traditional sea wall, connecting with the longer Great Perhaver beach at low tide and is popular with families. Much of the coastline in this area is owned by the National Trust and is readily accessible from the South West Coast Path that passes through Gorran Haven. Within walking distance are a number of more isolated beaches and the 370 feet high Dodman Point, rising above Gorran, which is thought to be one of Cornwall’s most dramatic headlands, and the cause of many a shipwreck. From its gorse-covered heights there are views across Veryan Bay to the west and Vault Beach to the east. Alternatively, you may wish to walk the coastal path to the harbour village of Mevagissey. Near Gorran Haven, in a beautiful setting of woodland, stream and pasture, is Caerhays Castle, an informal 60-acre garden on the coast near Porthluney Cove. Nearby attractions are the wonderful Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project, Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum and the cathedral town of Truro, with an excellent range of quality shopping and dining.
