Description
Stanbridge Cottage is a simply delightful, semi-detached stone cottage settled into the countryside outskirts of Sherston.
With a games room, rural views, and a tranquil location, this welcoming abode is ideal for couples or families looking to explore Wiltshire and the beautiful scenery of the Cotswolds AONB.
Park up and be greeted by the picturesque stone property, encompassed by rolling hills and the sound of birdsong.
Unpack and make yourself at home, settling into the sitting room and planning the day ahead of you, as the sun shines through the French windows, and in the evening, the woodburning stove creates a glowing ambience.
The stylish kitchen/diner is full of plenty of amenities to cater to your stay, so you can cook up a storm and enjoy your meal over a glass of your favourite beverage, whilst the whole of the ground floor benefits from the added opulence of underfloor heating.
Outside, the property benefits from a pretty garden space, ideal for alfresco dining in the fresh air over a game of boules, as well as a games room offering a full-size snooker table and a dart board.
You may even catch a glimpse of the deer in the adjoining field!
As the evening wears on and the sun sets over the picturesque surroundings, discover two king-size bedrooms, each with an en suite, inviting you to settle in for the night.
When you are ready to explore, there are plenty of local walks and cycle routes throughout the Cotswolds AONB.
Sherston offers a play area, a selection of shops, pubs, and eateries, and other places to visit include the historic city of Bath with its historic buildings and Roman Baths.
Visit the picturesque Castle Combe, or check out the beautiful trees and flowers of Highgrove Gardens.
Malmesbury offers heritage charm, from its striking abbey to its collection of shops and cafés. You are also based just 4 miles from the Badminton Estate, where the famous horse trials are held.
Tetbury brings antique hunting, weekend browsing, and a classic Cotswold atmosphere, while Westonbirt Arboretum invites you into its woodland trails and seasonal displays, making it a wonderful choice for walkers, families, and those who love time in nature.
Immerse yourself in the tranquil countryside with a stay at Stanbridge Cottage.

Very impressed with both the accommodation and the quiet peaceful location.
One of the best self-catering cottages we have ever stayed in, it surpassed expectations upon arrival, and felt warm and cosy all week despite the cold November weather. Pat and Trevor - thank you!
A lovely property well looked after and maintained by Pat and Trevor.
