  • "Fabulous holiday apartment."

Dan the owner was extremely helpful in sorting out the heating in the bedroom and giving us ideas where to eat Sunday lunch. The property is modern, well equipped, and very comfortable with the addition of all the TV channels you would need and an EV charger. We really enjoyed our short break at Aneths Annex and would definitely recommend it.

  • "A very well presented and equipped modern property with plenty of room for two people."

Good access to local tourist attractions but also very peaceful. Comfortable bed and well organised living room/kitchen. The property had a newish central heating system which worked ok in the living room but not always in the bathroom, although it was manageable. The owners were very helpful even though they were away on holiday during our visit.

The area boasts many Nature Reserves, the closest being Wigpool Common, a 19 acre SSSI, a great place for nature lovers to see many rare species of flora, fauna and birds. The Royal Forest of Dean, England's largest oak forest and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offers numerous trails that can be explored on foot, by bicycle or on horseback. Caving, abseiling and a high wire rope course are all on offer for the more adventurous, whilst fishing, golf, kayaking and canoeing are other popular activities in this unspoilt area.
