  • "Our stay in Dove cottage was great."

We loved putting up here for the time we did. Bob was absolutely attentive to our calls, queries and very helpful too in the best possible way. Attention has been given to the finest detail in the amenities provided and this was a hit with us. The quality of everything - household wares, linens and utensils was incredible. Anyone would enjoy staying here and not to mention it’s perfect serene location and neighbourhood.

  • "Dove Cottage was an absolute joy."

It made for the perfect countryside retreat. We loved how cosy and authentic it was while containing so many modern features such as a fully equipped kitchen and underfloor heating. The location was wonderful for a place where you could truly escape from it all. We will surely return!

  • "This cottage is in such a fantastic location in the Cotswolds."

Naunton is right in the centre of everything and if you have a car you can arrive to Bourton-on-the-water in 10 minutes. There are also beautiful walks through the countryside on your doorstep and the town has a wonderful small community feel. The house itself is so quaint. We were there for Christmas and the hosts had left a huge basket of food including chocolates, wine, cheese and bubbly. We would definitely come back! They made us feel so welcome.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Dove cottage."

Prosecco and chocolates on arrival was a nice touch. The cottage was very clean and you can see that the host goes to an effort to make it a nice place for visitors to stay in. The village of Naunton was also lovely.

  • "Dove cottage was a little slice of heaven, as was Naunton."

We could have not asked for a better experience. Super cozy, surreal location, and an overall special place. We enjoyed all of the local walking paths, the great pub down the road, and just sitting out front playing Scrabble with our kids (12 & 14). Our kids LOVED it- as did we. We all have said we WILL return someday. Thank you. Also, the owner popped by the day after we arrived to make sure all was 'good'. That was much appreciated.

  • "We had a lovely stay in Dove Cottage."

When you walk out off the driveway, you're at the prettiest spot in Naunton. There are lots of nice things to do in the area. We loved going to the farm park with our little boy and to the Bathsford arboretum. The cottage is so cosy and everything was provided for and Bob was very helpful and quick to respond to our texts.

    AngelaMay 2019

  • "Dove Cottage was amazing!"

Our family felt like we were home as soon as we stepped in the beautiful blue door. The cottage is cosy, charming, comfortable, and impeccably clean. All of ones needs are accounted for by the owners - from nightlights to torches to hair dryers and welcome gifts. They have truly thought of it all. Additionally, the kitchen has all you need to prepare a nice meal. If you're not in the mood to cook, we highly recommend the pubs in the local area. The Black Horse and the Hollow Bottom were both friendly and served excellent meals. Situated right off the stream and amidst numerous trekking routes, we were in heaven. The village is lovely too. Do take some time to explore it! Bottom line: if you are looking for a wonderful cottage in a gorgeous area, look no further!

We had a fantastic weekend stay in Dove Cottage! It was perfect for five of us (friends) and was spotlessly clean. The cottage has a lovely cosy feel and is beautifully finished with everything you need. The beds were so comfortable, too! The location is perfect for everything. We enjoyed a great walk along the Cotswolds Way to Broadway Tower (which starts just a few hundred metres from the cottage) and it was great to be able to walk to Broadway's lovely shops and pubs in just a few minutes. I'd highly recommend a stay at Dove Cottage!

Enjoyed a long, long game of Monopoly by the fire. We will be back!

Perfect for couples or a small family, this cottage is an ideal base for exploring the stunning Cotswolds region.

Host a fun dinner party for you and your group with help from the contemporary facilities in the kitchen/diner, and toast to a relaxing holiday ahead, before loading the dishes into the dishwasher and heading up the stairs to retreat to one of the inviting bedrooms.

The Black Horse Inn is just 0.3 miles from your doorstep where you can enjoy the pleasant ambience and home-made, locally sourced food and drinks.

A short car ride will put you in Bourton-on-the-Water, which is often referred to as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’ due to the low arched bridges that cross over the River Windrush, an array of shops and attractions can be found here such as Cotswold Motoring Museum & Toy Collection and The Model Village which is a mini replica of the village itself, and Greystones Farm & Nature Reserve which is home to wildflower meadows and a working organic farm; offering time out from the hustle and bustle of the village centre.

Visit the historical market town of Stow-on-the-Wold where you can stroll around the market square and discover the town stock which dates back to the 15th century and is shaded by a majestic Elm Tree and then head over to St Edward’s Parish Church where you will find the enchanting looking tree surrounded doorway and finally, finish off with refreshing tipple at The Stag at Stow.

Cheltenham is just under a 30-minute drive from Dove Cottage and has a wealth of activities; if you’re into a spot of shopping The Promenade is the place to be as it has been named as one of the top five best shopping streets in Britain!
