Really lovely stay for a family wedding.

We loved the Annex & the whole feel of the place. The air conditioning unit was a lovely touch.

The previous reviews for this property were superb and they remain so, clean, modern with a very useful welcome pack provided by the hosts.

The hosts are the ones who make this property, friendly but not intrusive but quick to provide help when needed. When the kettle broke Steph provided their own until a new replacement arrived the next day. They had even bought a brand new A/c unit because of the heat this summer which was a god send for us when we were there. The EV charger for the car provided some comfort as in that area commercial EV chargers are in short supply. This is one cottage we will definitely return too.

We have had many holidays with sykes and this is probably the best apartment ever for us didnt want for anything and had the advantage of Air con unit which was amazing in the current heat, for us a massive bonus of a car charger which again made life so much easier also had great TV sky apple and the owner Dan seemed a really nice guy and was very helpful and kind also got some goodies when arrived which doesn't happen so much these days, would highly recommend.

Beautiful and well equipped annex.

Perfectly positioned for exploring the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas. The annex has the added bonus of an air conditioning unit and an EV charger. Highly recommend.

We have recently returned from our stay at Aneths Annex.

The owners, Dan and Steph, have done an amazing job with the annex, and I can honestly say that it's the best holiday home we have ever stayed in. Beautifully styled, well equipped, super comfy bed, fantastic shower, loads of wardrobe space, and the EV charger was a huge bonus for us! We would highly recommend the annex to anyone wanting to explore this lovely part of the country, and would not hesitate to stay here again if we revisit the area. Thanks Dan, Steph and family for a great holiday!

A lovely modern Annex with all mod cons - spotlessly clean and tidy.

We appreciated the 'extras' and having the EV charger was great. A convenient place from which to explore the Forest of Dean, Gloucester, Monmouth and Hereford.

Wonderfully modern, immaculately clean and very comfortable accommodation which is equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Steph and Dan are warm, welcoming and friendly hosts who are more than happy to help with information about the beautiful, surrounding areas. It is ideal as a base to immerse yourself in nature within the Forest of Dean's beautiful countryside, nearby picturesque villages, historic towns and castles and to venture into South Wales. Highly recommended.

We found the annexe lovely place to stay, everything you would need and beautifully mentained.

Easy access to the surrounding area, and interesting places to visit. For us the extra bonus was having the EV charger, can highly recommend this accommodation.

Absolutely immaculatey clean in every way, beautiful bathroom with excellent large shower with self cleaning screen. The bed is the best We've slept in so comfortable! Massive wardrobe, in large room altogether. Everything you need in a beautiful kitchen and if your a keen tv watcher you have every channel available under the sun! Can't highly reccomend this Annex enough, you won't be dissapointed along with the great hosts!

This is a first-rate property; spotlessly clean, spacious, modern, well-equipped and comfortable with absolutely delightful owners who were present in the background, always available but never intrusive.

The welcome pack was much-appreciated as was off-road secure parking with an EV charging point on site. As a centre for visiting the Cotswolds and places such as Gloucester, Cheltenham, Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth and elsewhere it was simply exceptional. 100% recommended.

What a fantastic property.

Very clean, comfortable and cosy with everything you need. In a good position to visit the area and there are walks from the doorstep. Quiet too, so easy to relax and we won’t hesitate to return here. The EV charger was also a welcome addition and although Dan and Steph are on hand for anything, they are unobtrusive and just let you get on with your holiday. All in all a great experience.

Sandra was unable to take a shower as there wasn't a shower mat and the shower tray was very slippery.

Otherwise very comfortable accommodation in extremely pleasant surroundings and excellently maintained.

After reading Patricia’s 5 star review I was struggling to add anything useful.

We initially thought we were the first visitors to stay in the annex because it was so pristine. The decor is lovely with lots of added touches, the welcome pack, the new stand up fan, the best tv with channels ever in a cottage, the torches and a very useful ( and well used electric car charger). Dan, Stephanie and family were super hosts and very friendly as were the many dog walkers we met. This is a great base to tour from Ross on Wye,Symonds Yat, Monmouth and the Dean Heritage Centre. We enjoyed some nice country pub lunches and walks into the Forest. Highly recommended.

The property is located within the owners footprint in an elevated location in the village of Drybrook, as a result there is limited passing traffic and so peace and quiet is assured.

The property provides a single living space encompassing a fully fitted kitchen with all appliances and equipment you would need for your stay, the bedroom with en-suite is also well fitted with storage and full size modern electric shower. The village has a local Co-op, filling station( with convenience store ) public house and fish and chip shop, they are within walking distance but it is very hilly for your walk. Everything considered this is an extremely well maintained property providing everything you would need for your stay.

This Annex is perfect!

Super clean, cosy and beautifully decorated. It has everything you need for a relaxing break and a great base for exploring Wye Valley and The Forest of Dean.

The property was absolutely spotless.

Very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. A 5 minute walk into the forest. Had an amazing time.The owners were very welcoming.

An excellent property that could be made even better with a few “extras”.

These may all seem petty but they would make a difference; a towel rail at the end of the units, a draining rack, six of cutlery and plates, tea towels and a hand towel for the kitchen. Finally, the dining table seems to be too high for the chairs. That said, this is one of the best properties we have stayed in - and we have stayed in many all over Europe. We would definitely come back again.

The only drawback to the cottage was the lack of outside space to sit in.

Dan was an excellent host and kept making sure that everything was alright. He even offered extra fans in the hot weather. It made a good base to explore the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.

Fabulous holiday apartment.

Dan the owner was extremely helpful in sorting out the heating in the bedroom and giving us ideas where to eat Sunday lunch. The property is modern, well equipped, and very comfortable with the addition of all the TV channels you would need and an EV charger. We really enjoyed our short break at Aneths Annex and would definitely recommend it.

A very well presented and equipped modern property with plenty of room for two people.

Good access to local tourist attractions but also very peaceful. Comfortable bed and well organised living room/kitchen. The property had a newish central heating system which worked ok in the living room but not always in the bathroom, although it was manageable. The owners were very helpful even though they were away on holiday during our visit.

This is one of the best holiday accommodation we've ever stayed in, it was beautifully presented warm and comfortable the owners were very helpful and the addition of a EV charging point made our stay perfect

A hidden gem in the Wye Valley.

The Annex is beautifully furnished to a high standard with everything you need for your stay. We hope to return in the future!
