  • "Beautifully presented town centre cottage and it was so quiet during our stay."

Always managed to get a parking space outside the house too. Very impressed and will definitely recommend.

  • "Our second stay here and thoroughly enjoyed it again."

Such an ideal location. Only thing I would request is a vacuum cleaner at the property to make it easier for cleaning. Difficult to do with dustpan and brush.

  • "Beautifully styled and very comfortable holiday home in a great location in the Old Town, within easy walking distance of Stratford Upon Avon's main attractions and eating places."

Easy to park outside or near the property with the inclusion of a parking permit which took away any parking worries. The property has everything we needed for a weeks stay and there is also a handy launderette on the corner of Bull Street. Only suggestion would be to extend the time on the automatic bathroom light sensor as the main light goes out far too soon which could have safety implications with the steps that go down into the bathroom and when in the shower (we used the bathroom mirror light as backup). Really enjoyed our visit and looking forward to staying again.

  • "This was our second visit to the property after a stay in December 2021."

There have been some updates made to the property and we had a pleasant stay for the week. The facilities and cleanliness of the property was good and the only thing we had a slight issue with, was the lack of a handrail at the top of the stairs. The stairs are quite steep and it is a little tricky without a rail if you are taking bags up and down the stairs. Overall, for us we could not fault the location, comfort and value. Top tip: We used the launderette over the road the day before we came home - friendly service & no washing to do once we got home!

Great patio area at the rear which was ideal for the dog. Parking outside is perfect. Lots of great dog friendly pubs and restaurants nearby including the Garrick , Bistrot Pierre , Veeno. A visit to the Cotswold Wildlife park is highly recommended. Fantastic zoo in beautiful surroundings and dog friendly too

  • "Lots of style over substance."

Lacking in storage, equipment, coherant instructions about rubbish and whoever thought the automated light in the bathroom was a good idea. Good location, clean, some aspects good. Could do more with the outside space

  • "Super little cottage."

Ideally placed for visiting central Stratford. A few minutes walk from river, and RSC. It's a huge plus that there is a parking ticket provided for use and there was mostly a space right outside the house. Warm, clean, comfortable and stylish. Found it very quiet at night despite being so centrally placed. Loved it, thank you.

A lovely level five minute walk into the delights of Stratford. Comfy and warm, with a lovely kitchen diner. Parking easy to find on the street outside. Lovely pub down the street. We all had a superb stay.

  • "5 Bull Street, Stratford is an excellent base to explore this lovely town."

Once you arrive you will not need to use the car as you can take short walks to all attractions. Good walks for the dog along the Avon, excellent shopping and eating. The dear little house is in streets of well kept houses, all interesting, with a walk into town that has every period of architecture from middle ages on. No 5 has very comfortable beds, enclosed patio garden for the dog, well equipped and spotlessly clean. One drawback, couldn't find a vacuum cleaner, so had to leave without cleaning the floor. We had an excellent week.

  • "We have very much enjoyed our stay in Stratford-upon-Avon."

We stayed in a well presented mid-terrassed property in a quiet and nice area at short walking distance from the city centre. Thanks to the parking license we could park our car in the street. The property has recently been refurbished to a modern holiday cottage with a well equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom with a shower. Descending from the stairs is not always easy. This property would benefit if a handrail was to be fitted over the entire length of the stairs. Also the height of the door opening of the second bedroom was limited for someone of my length of 6 feet. Upstairs we missed a wardrobe for our clothing. The cleanliness was in general good, but more detailed attention could should be given to the windows, the shelves in the kitchen and the inside of the waste bin in the kitchen.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at this terraced house."

It was clean, tidy and well equipped. Well placed for a short walk into town and not a problem parking there. Only a couple of little things not quite right- the toilet seat moved when you sat down on it and the decking area could have been cleaner. This did not distract from us enjoying the house and a message was left for the cleaner. Would stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

The house itself had been very thoughtfully and pleasantly decorated, was spotlessly clean. The only point to note is that, being small, it’s probably less suitable for longer stay ‘sprawls’ (also lacking a washing machine* and bath), but fab for shorter stays (in our view). * no - there is a laundrette just opposite the property.

The cottage had everything you needed for a home from home stay although trying to get TV through "apps" as there was no aerial for normal TV was a bit of a pain and a microwave would have been useful. Everything in the cottage was spotlessly clean and the folder with all the recommendations for places to eat and things to do was really useful. Would definitely stay here again.

  • "Lovely cottage very nicely presented."

Great location for walking into town and very comfortable. Only feedback I would give is it should be clearer that TV requires you to have various apps access to watch anything as there is no aerial so no 'normal' TV. Would benefit from a microwave but that certainly didn't spoil our stay.

Parking was available on the street but not in the same road as the house while we were there. There needs to be a chest of drawers in the bedroom as well as the hanging rail as we could not unpack and had to live out of the suitcase. The kitchen could do with the following, not essential but useful. Trays so you could eat dinner while watching TV. Pizza cutter !!

  • "The accommodation was in a great location and the house itself felt relaxed and comfortable."

We had also told the owners it was our honeymoon and we were left a bottle of wine and chocolates which was a nice touch! The terrace is a lovely place to relax at the end of the day or sit in for morning coffee and it felt private and contained. At the end of the day, I do like to read before going to sleep and this was a little tricky as the only lights in the bedroom was the main light- a couple of bedside lamps would really help this. Additionally, whilst there is use of the TV and Netflix, you do need your own account (which we did) but I feel this could be a bit clearer on the advert. There is also no other TV options and you cannot access the free view TV as there was no aerial (or we couldn’t seem to get it working!) We did have a really lovely week away and the owners have made good use of the space.

  • "In general the cottage was first class but for slightly disabled people in our seventies the upstairs was virtually inaccessible, the top of the bannister finishes around three steps before the top of the stairs there are then high steps on one doorway and another to access the bathroom had we have known this we may have reconsidered our choice of accommodation."

the décor, facilities, situation were superb it is just a shame that we were not forewarned regarding the accessibility.
