  • "Well..what can l say wow"

    . Lovely clean well presented property. Everything you could need home from home. So thoughtful the welcome packs not only for us but for the dog to. There is plenty to do, see, eat, drink. The property is near to the greenaway great walk with dog. You can also walk across the the race course on non race day great for the dog have a safe run. We are from SOA and own a property nearby, so we know the area. Well, it was just like being home. We certainly will use again when we come again. But for now we are back enjoying the west coastal side of the lake district. You have done yourselves proud in this property. Thank you .

  • "Had a lovely stay in old town mews for a week at the end of November."

    It’s in a great location, not far to walk into Stratford, and plenty of green space nearby if you have a dog. The house is comfortable, and has everything you need. The outside space is lovely and well maintained. The only negative for me would be the lack of a sofa, or comfy easy chair - but thats personal preference - on the whole a lovely home, in a great location.

    Thanks for giving us feedback on Old Town Cottage - delighted that you enjoyed your stay. After several guest comments, we have decided to change the recliners for a large sofa and footstool to make the lounge more comfortable - new furniture has been ordered and will be in place next month - look out for new photos on the website.     Everything you could need is there. Nice garden to sit out as sun all day long. Close to town and Greenway. Very enjoyable stay.

  • "A table would have been nice inside we were lucky with the weather we could eat ..."

    A table would have been nice inside we were lucky with the weather we could eat all meals outside we spent 2 hours looking for the house due to the wrong post code on the net even the police could not help the phone did not answer for 2 hours house was fine locals great

    Thanks for taking the time to review Old Town Cottage. We have investigated ‘the wrong postcode on the net’ ourselves, with our local agent and with Sykes and can’t find a problem so we are not sure what went wrong there. Perhaps if you could let us know what postcode you were given we can get to the bottom of this. There are two tables in the kitchen which can fit flat along the wall to make a breakfast bar or be placed together to make a square. They are very light and easy to move so guests can choose what they prefer. We will add some information about this to our Welcome Pack. Property Owner

  • "We had a really wonderful week in this lovely, clean, well appointed cottage."

    Very comfy chairs & footstools in the lounge. There was everything in the kitchen that you could possibly need, with quality cutlery/crockery etc.& a lovely welcome tray. The bedding & towels, were beautiful, all top quality. A nice bedroom, overlooking the garden with a very comfortable bed & separate spacious dressing room. A beautiful bathroom & shower. A lovely quiet, well looked after garden, with new garden furniture for dining outdoors, & dappled shade if needed. It was a quiet area, with a short cut through walk to the river Avon & Stratford town centre. Lovely walks along the river, lots to see & do. Parking on the driveway. This is the nicest self catering holiday accommodation we have ever had, a very pleasant surprise. If we could give this cottage higher than 10 we would. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Sandra

  • "Very good. I really enjoyed my week."

    The property has been refurbished and is well equipped. Stratford is great, so much to see and do. Old Town Cottage is an ideal base to enjoy all that it has to offer. Highly recommended

  • "Great location, within easy walking distance of centre,great having parking."

    Strange setup with tv, couldn't just move from channel to channel, had to keep changing from iplayer to itvx etc. Recliners kept moving round on wooden floors, maybe place carpet underneath them. Shower water pressure not very good.

We had just taken delivery of new garden furniture so hope you got a chance to enjoy the garden. You were one of our first bookings so your guest feedback is very helpful. We’ve taken a look at the issues you have mentioned in particular the shower water pressure which hasn’t been a problem in the past. One of the recliners needed tightening - now fixed. We are sorry you found the smart TV a bit tricky. They can sometimes be a little over complicated but we felt offering a wide range of channels and on demand programmes using the ultra fast Wi-Fi would provide a better service for our guests. We will of course look at including live TV via a standard aerial. Thanks again for reviewing and we hope you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner
