Steeped in history, Stratford-upon-Avon is the perfect spot to begin your itinerary, offering a multitude of iconic sites such as Shakespeare’s New Place, Shakespeare’s Birthplace, as well as Shakespeare's resting place of Holy Trinity Church, whose spire is visible from your bedroom window!
Additionally, The MAD Museum, The Swan Theatre and Stratford Canal are also a must-visit.
Take a stroll along or a boat cruise on the River Avon, where you can feed the swans before spending the afternoon at Stratford Butterfly Farm, or play a round or two at Stratford-upon-Avon Golf Club before ending in one of many pubs, restaurants or cafes for a bite to eat!

Lovely little cottage ideal for a couple who did not bring the car.
Great situation close to pub and five minutes from all the shops, cafes and the canal.
The cottage was lovely and well equipped.
It is in a good location and could be a bit cleaner but I enjoyed my stay. I liked the stairs and the cupboard above them.
Lovely little gem of a cottage, private, cosy and affordable.
