Beautiful cottage in perfect location!

The showers on first floor need checking. My husband who struggles with walking found the rough surface in garden tricky - for perfection perhaps paving would be a good idea? Would definitely book again!

The welcome gift for our four legged baby was so kind and very much appreciated! The cottage was so comfortable and beautifully presented. Some delineation of the parking bays would be helpful and the temperature in the master shower was quite hard to alter.

Gorgeous comfortable sofas and lovely bedding and towels with thoughtful complimentary toiletries. The shower temperature in the top room and twin was difficult to control and too hot. The twin room door would not shut properly and needs the catch adjusting. There was no bedside table and lamp in the twin room. Some snags such as wobbly taps and toilet flush which need attending to. Would have liked hooks on the doors for dressing gown etc and somewhere in the shower to put shampoo etc instead of having to reach down on the floor. Was annoying that I had to phone property management for a WiFi code. An information booklet would be useful with WiFi code and details of emergency medical numbers etc. Wasn’t crystal clear where we were supposed to park and there was some confusion about that with the neighbouring property apparently though when I was messaged about this I didn’t receive an acknowledgment to my reply. Just a few niggles then but all in all the owners have made a beautiful job of refurbishing the house and the photos really need to be updated to reflect this. The courtyard garden, furniture and facilities were fab.

Which probably helped us get the late-ish booking! Super comfy, smelt great and beautifully decorated, really set the Christmas scene! Have been to Broadway many times and wouldn’t hesitate in using this property again. Minor niggle.. top floor shower heat setting of lava and turbo lava not ideal.. plus I think you would need another week to fill the bath (which is beautiful) but the pressure in there was awful! Loved our stay, thanks for having us x

This cottage is truly delightful.

We ( three friends) stayed in November whilst racing at Cheltenham. It was perfect the three en suite bedrooms is such a bonus. The cottage has obviously been massively upgraded since the photographs were taken that are showing here on Sykes cottages website. It is so lovely now very high class furnishings etc. Lovely wood burning stove with everything provided... it is so cozy and cute! This should have a 4.9/5 star review not 3.7!! Please do not be put off this idyllic cottage. It is extremely good value to stay here. The location is perfect and very quiet and peaceful. We have booked to stay next year already. Many thanks to the owners.

Great character property in one of our favourite places in the Cotswolds.

I do feel that the steepness of the stairs should be mentioned in the listing. It was not a problem for us but could be for older guests or people with young children. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

There was no Wi-Fi code at the property and despite contacting the owner on the telephone number given (straight to answerphone) and leaving 4 messages and a text, they never got back to us.

So no Wi-Fi. If there had been a problem accessing the property or we had lost the one key available, we would have been locked out for the duration, as clearly no one was contactable in any emergency. Very disappointing and no welcome pack whatsoever, no details about local doctors etc and not even a pint of milk for a welcome cup of tea. Another point which we wouldn’t have mentioned if we had not been so annoyed by no one bothering to return our calls - one supposedly clean towel was covered in very unpleasant brown smears. Not impressed.

We (three friends) enjoyed our stay at Bay House - we've stayed a few times before and find it really peaceful and convenient for all the many lovely pubs, shops and galleries that Broadway has to offer.

The decor and soft furnishings have changed a bit since our last visit - it is looking extremely smart and homely! Lovely to have the secluded garden area at the back and noticed there was extra seating and olive trees!.
