Lovely Lodge very clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Great views from the lodge very quiet great for a relaxing break. Only 15mins walk into Broadway, steam train only 5 mins walk great for exploring the Cotswolds. Just want to say massive Thankyou to Judy & Glen lovely hosts made you very welcome as soon you pulled on their drive. Would definitely recommend, see you again soon Jill Paul Monty

Had a lovely holiday - the accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the outlook from the terrace was beautiful, with deer, rabbits and birds clearly visible from your seat, while enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

Broadway was very easily accessible by car and in our opinion, it and Chipping Campden were our favourite villages.

The lodge is great and the owners are very helpful.

Lots of local places to visit and great to see the wildlife in the field. Would really recommend this place to stay. Great holiday

The hosts greeted us and let us know they were around if needed . What a lovely couple they were . Had a wonderful relaxing time . Will be returning at some point .

This was our second stay at this property and it is just as good as we remembered.

The owners were very welcoming, the lodge is spacious, very clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. Quite possible we will spend a third stay here as we love the area. Broadway itself is a lovely village and we enjoyed seeing it in all its Christmas finery.

We were met by the owners on arrival who were really friendly and gave us all the information we needed.

The lodge was beautiful and spotlessly clean. There was everything you could need for a holiday. Nothing had been missed. The location is perfect for walking into Broadway and travelling to other Cotswolds villages. We would highly recommend both lodges and the views are stunning. We will definitely be returning.

We were very happy with our booking of the Pennylands Lodge.

The location was very convenient for strolling into Broadway and not worrying about traffic or parking. It is also a great location for exploring this part of the Cotswolds. The facilities of the Lodge provided everything we needed and it was comfortable. We must also mention the very warm reception on arrival! We would happily stay here again to continue exploring the area.

Beautiful lodge with everything you need for a holiday.

Great to wake up and let the dog out in the huge back garden. He absolutely loved it and all the fresh fruit available. A credit to the owners.

A clean & quiet lodge with everything we needed.

Lovely views from the terrace & you can walk round the grounds. The owners were very friendly & helpful.

We were absolutely delighted with the cottage for our two-night stay in early April.

It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed (and more - even a tea cake to enjoy upon arrival!) and the hosts were genuinely welcoming. Our favorite moments were spent enjoying the lovely view from the deck and from a grassy spot on the lawn. We hope to return again in the future!

Lovely lodge with great country views, king size bed but sofa's a bit soft and low for the older generation, other than that a brilliant place to stay, a short walk to Broadway lovely.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at Pennylands Hill View Lodge.

The Owners were on site if you needed them and they were very friendly and approachable. The lodge itself was five star. It had everything you needed, very clean and comfortable. The garden was huge and at night if you sat quietly you may spot a fox or a deer and definitely rabbits running across grass. The village of Broadway is a short walk. It has plenty of places to eat and drink. There are some quirky little shops there too. We will definitely be back and we would certainly recommend staying at this beautiful lodge.

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful lodge.

Ideally situated just under a mile’s walk away from Broadway, which is a gorgeous place. Glen and Judi were fantastic hosts and we really appreciated all the little extras they provided (milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, soaps etc) which made the lodge a home from home. We loved sitting on the veranda so much that we ate out during the day and spent the evenings back at the lodge enjoying the view. Ruby dog was so happy to have 3 acres to explore. Deer and woodpeckers came within a few feet of us which was so lovely. We really had the most relaxing and chilled-out week. Batteries suitably recharged! I’m sure we will return, we had such a great week. Lovely hosts, beautiful lodge set in a gorgeous area and so much to explore in the Cotswolds. Thank you to Judi and Glen for making us so welcome.

Pennylands Hill View Lodge is a lovely property with an amazing view.

The lodge is spacious, well furnished, comfortable and the little additions (milk, teabags, biscuits, dog bowl/treats/poo bags) added by the owners were a great touch. We had planned to go out in the evenings for a meal but found that after a day walking around the villages of the Cotswolds, we much preferred to come back to this lovely lodge and relax on the little deck. The outside space was amazing and our dog Frankie thoroughly enjoyed running around and playing ball to her hearts content. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent location.

Good size off road parking. Was cleaned to a high standard. Had all the equipment we needed. Spectacular view with a nice veranda to take it in. The building and contents were maintained to a high standard. Owners were very friendly and helpful. We had an excellent stay with no problems.

A very comfortable, clean and well equipped property, conveniently positioned to explore Broadway and surrounds.

Beautiful houses and gardens to visit nearby and fantastic walking country. Broadway has many places to eat and drink and everywhere including shops are very dog friendly. We enjoyed the view from the chalet and Jasper, our dog, enjoyed the space of the garden. Thoroughly recommend

Property was very clean and everything you need was provided. Great location- large grass area for dog walking and close to the village. We would recommend 100% and plan to return later in the year. Great value for money.

I booked this holiday as a gift for my parents silver wedding anniversary.

They returned having had a wonderful time. The owners were very welcoming and had left treats for both them and Poppy their dog. The accommodation was clean, well maintained, warm and comfortable. Poppy loved the grounds. Thank you for making this a special occasion.

The property was very warm, clean and comfortable with a lovely view of Broadway hill.

Rabbits and squirrels were constant visitors and we saw deer one morning at the bottom of the field. Unfortunately we had to shorten our stay but the few days we had there were great. It’s in a good area to see lots of lovely Cotswold villages and National Trust properties. Owners were very welcoming and helpful. I would happily book again.

This was our second visit to Pennylands and it was just as good as our first visit back in September 2014.

Judy and Glen have upgraded the accommodation to a high standard and now have added a second unit. The setting is superb, with views over the hills and plenty of local amenities within a short distance. Would definitely recommend the property to anyone visiting Broadway. With Judy and Glen as hosts they will be in safe hands and have an enjoyable break.

Our second visit to Hill View, a warm welcome from Judi & Glen & much appreciated help from them on the evening our dog had a seizure with Glen driving us to Evesham where we were able to find the emergency vet number to speak to a nurse & then see the Broadway vet the next morning, all well in the end.

The lodge is very comfortable & lovely garden area for dog walking. We certainly hope to visit again.

I would give this property a five star rating for cleanliness, comfort and facilities.

Fantastic place to stay with a dog. Large paddock at the rear of the property, even had deer visiting early mornings. Within walking distance of the lovely shops and eateries of Broadway and lots of lovely walks on the doorstep without driving far. Owners so friendly and helpful. Even though this property is at the rear of their house, it is private and peaceful and not too close to the second lodge. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely property, absolutely spotlessly clean.

Comfortable lounge with beautiful view from the French doors and excellent outside decking area with seating for four. The lodge contained everything we could possibly need, including a dishwasher and washer. Bedrooms are large, airy and very comfortable and the bathroom is also well laid out with a good walk in shower. Having a reserved parking space is a bonus as is the proximity of Broadway Village which is in easy walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the property and would love to return again at some point in the future.

Met the people who owned the accommodation and they couldn’t have been nicer and were most helpful about the area. Accommodation was just what we wanted and we will be booking again as soon as we can.

The views from the veranda are spectacular. The owners are very friendly helpful and attentive,. The shops and restaurants of Broadway are an easy 20 minute walk away from the property. Looking forward to a return trip in the future.

We had a fabulous holiday .

On arrival the host greeted us warmly and we were helped with r luggage into the cabin . The cabin was larger than it looked on the photographs and was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable . The views across the field from the decking was amazing . We were fortunate to have good weather and was able to sit out on the decking in the evening , ( with a glass of wine or 2 ) and plan r visits to other cotswold villages . Broadway was about a 15 minute walk down the hill but for the less abled , it’s advised to drive down but go early or late in the day to get a parking space . I would definitely recommend this accommodation

The courage was absolutely spotless which is key during covid.

We were welcomed on arrival, basics like tea, coffee, and kitchen essentials were provided and a dog bowl with biscuits! The garden was amazing, beautiful scenery, beautiful place. We will be back next year!

The log cabin is in a lovely location over looking the beautiful countryside.

It is very well equipped home from home. Very comfortable and well planned out to make the most of this beautiful cabin. The owners where very helpful and friendly the carrot cake and milk very much appreciated following our journey so nice to sit down and relax straight away. You would not think that you were in someone's back garden very peaceful and relaxing. You should be very proud of yourselves thank you.

Yes the holiday cabin was lovely, my daughter was very excited and we was greeted buy the owners which was really nice.

Everything in the cabin was there including doggie biscuits, cake milk and fresh flowers was a lovely welcome.

Everything was lovely and just perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, starting with a warm and friendly welcome from our hosts – complete with cake and flowers!

The accommodation was equipped with everything you needed and spotlessly clean and in tiptop condition. The unspoilt view from the lodge was a much-appreciated view every day and the location, only 15/20 minutes stroll into the centre of Broadway, was excellent. It was really nice to be able to do your food shopping on foot and only use the car when needed for sightseeing further away. In conclusion we had a very enjoyable stay and would love to go again, so we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pennyland to others.

Huge field immediately for the dog to run around in - plus a few hares to chase - so he was very happy. Friendly and helpful hosts. Kitchen was well equipped, good size lodge, very clean. generally a great base to explore the Northern Cotswolds - we plan to return!

Hill view lodge was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing break.

We felt like we had our own private park with the large paddock adjoining the property. Our Spanish greyhound enjoyed the freedom to roam. Beautiful view from the patio of the surrounding area. Very close to Broadway town which was very pretty with lots of places to eat and relax. The couple who own the lodge were friendly and helpful. Highy recommend this holiday hideaway.

These 2lodges are in a lovely position with superb views.

They had everything you may need and if you needed anything else the couple were very happy to help. The steam train station was literally just down the road, then approx another half mile into Broadway. It is a great central place to stay with so many quaint places to visit around the Cotswolds.

Had a great time at pennylands , the cottage was very well kept with all amenities , the large green enclosed area facing the cottage was an extra bonus for our dog, great way to unwind and relax, short walking distance from broadway.

We had a lovely stay here.

The lodge was a home from home, the owners had thought of everything. Ideally located for access to all the great places to see and yet is so quiet and peaceful. The owners are so lovely, they make you feel welcome. I liked their sofa chairs so much I'm going to find some for my lounge! It was the little touches that made our stay so good and I will remember that lovely view from the window each time I look back on our stay.

The lodge was spotless and everything was provided that we could wish for, even a carrot cake ! Broadway was lovely (steam railway within walking distance) and close to lots of other lovely villages and towns. Would love to return.

This cottage provided everything we could need for a great holiday base out of which to explore a beautiful area - from initial welcome, to excellent facilities and a fantastic view - we would certainly recommend Pennylands Hill View and hope to go again ourselvesin the not-too-distant future.

We had a wonderful weeks holiday.

Everything was perfect(even the weather),although it was too hot at times and we could have done with fans in the lodge. We spent most evenings sat outside taking in the beautiful scenery. We were well placed for getting into Broadway and surrounding area,and we would recommend a trip in the steam railway. The owners were really friendly and helpful and we will certainly return in the future.

Fantastic accommodation.

We had a lovely week and the dog loved the garden. Our week was made extra special by the weather and the birds we saw in the garden - a buzzard, woodpeckers and a kestrel.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and our pet Cocker spaniel had a wonderful time in the large open garden at the rear of the lodge.

Yes we were pleasantly surprised to find a steam railway at broadway and this perhaps could be mentioned in your description of places to visit in the area

To describe this lodge as being in the owners back garden is confusing as it is away from the house and has access to 3 acres of grassed area.

The owners were very helpful but not intrusive.

Great for the dog as we could let her out onto the grass for a good run. The lodge is lovely and warm in cold weather. Everything you would need is included in the cost. Plenty of places to go with the dog in the area, walks, pubs, shops etc. We would go there again.
