Great location, lovely well presented cottage.

The gardens are beautiful Close to all the amazing locations in the Cotswolds

The cottage was as described, lovely and clean and in a great location with a very short walk onto the high street.

Spent a lovely week at the property which is located in the heart of the village with access straight into the main high street.

Facilities in the property were slightly dated and the water pressure for showers a bit on the low side but adequate all the same. Clean, tidy and beds very comfortable. Superb selection of pubs, tea rooms and restaurants, the Italian directly opposite was our favourite. We did have a problem with the shower and bathroom mixer but these were rectified promptly. The measure of any good company is how they respond to a complaint and I can honestly say Sykes scored 10/10. They sent a WhatsApp on the day after arrival asking if there were any problems and I was easily able to respond with our issues. They contacted us immediately and arranged for someone to visit the property the same day. I would also say that at every point of contact we had, from the person who took my details, the person I was referred to and the handyman that visited us, the communication was clear and a sincere apology given which makes all the difference as we felt valued and therefore I would highly recommend them. So thank you for a lovely week, we will be returning customers.

We loved the cottage!

!! The location was great, Only one small suggestion, the dining chairs in the kitchen were very uncomfortable, and may need replacing . BUT this is only small, we loved it!

This was a lovely cottage, ideally located very close to the high street.

It has all of the amenities we needed. We mainly ate out and didn’t cook an evening meal in the cottage. Some tlc needed re scuffed walls and some rot in the kitchen. However it suited us for our stay. The owner was super helpful when we accidentally locked the keys in the cottage and was very friendly throughout our stay.

Location was perfect Warm and comfortable cottage ideal for discovering the town But: Bin and dishwasher full upon arrival :( Insufficient chairs in dining room for cottage capacity.

Ditto drinking glasses Shower needs attention - leaky And the WIFI was very very poor. Otherwise, decent place

We had a wonderful week at the cottage.

The location was perfect and the cottage was charming and the walking was marvellous. It could have benefitted from a bit more kitchen equipment, some bedside tables and better WiFi. All in all we would book again.

Beautiful Cottage in a lovely location.

Easy access to Chipping Camden. Everything we needed was available in the cottage.

Unfortunately we felt really disappointed with this accommodation.

on arrival we were informed the owner had passed away. There was no acknowledgment by the company managing the property that this had an impact. This was hugely disappointing - because it did. The property had limited equipment/utensils available. A washing machine was provided but no airer, and the washing line was located next to a tractor, which limited access. During our stay there was a local issue with water supply which severely hampered our stay. when ringing the 24 hour support line we received limited information, it was apparent that the staff member was expected to be on duty for some time, which felt inappropriate given her own health and wellbeing (this was not a Sykes property but a different provider - i will be mindful of this in future). this impacted on our stay and no allowance was given. i still haven't received the deposit for "good housekeeping". In relation to the water supply issue, we couldnt check details/updates as the Wifi was poor we could not access at all and no resolution was offered. I felt the property was over priced for its calibre and would not stay here again. whilst the location was ideal we would look to another property in future. I will look to alternative cottage providers infuture. Whilst in the past Sykes have been reliable, on this occasion the experience spoilt our holiday therefore i am unlikely to book through you again. the complaints procedure i followed felt weighted towards the holiday cottage company , a message to say you would not progress my complaint felt incredibly unhelpful and impacted on our experience. very disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay even though it was a bit difficult to find by car.

The bedroom to the top right could use a new mattress as it was a bit mushy. Overall we had a great stay.

Comfortable hidden gem of a cottage with a lovely garden, walking distance of all we needed in chipping Camden but so quiet and peaceful .

Had a wonderful few days at The Cottage.

Great location. Quiet. Minor point… couldn’t seem to find a potato peeler. And Wi-Fi could be better. Often had to stand outside front door of adjoining cottage to connect.

This was a nice cottage that 4 of us stayed in recently.

However, it really needs a deep clean. The skirting boards, which had a flat top, were thick with dirt and hairs especially the ones in the kitchen. There were cobwebs all over the place and the kitchen table would be rejected by every charity shop in the UK. It was really bad with pieces missing out of it. The induction hob is not really appropriate to a rental cottage. It took an absolute age to heat up. Yet again I feel we've been overcharged by an owner. Quite common now in the UK.

I am recovering from a major operation & found everything I needed for a relaxing break was provided at The Cottage.

It was a wonderful facility in beautifully kept gardens. Very quaint. The use of the passageway to the main high street was particularly helpful. Chipping Campden is a delightful town with particularly interesting history which I was able to expand on my knowledge of with the guided ‘town walk’ lead by local volunteers.

It was a lovely property well surrounded by very beautiful flowers & plants.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay . Keep it up ! We will definitely recommend others to visit the place & enjoy the beauty of the hospitality Some suggestions please…great if shower gel & possibly a strainer for tea could be added as we forgot to bring ours! On the whole, lovely stay, thanks.

Great location and delightful garden .

the roses were superb , the cottage sleeps 5 and we were told to only park one car the remainding cars were to be parked on the road 50 yards away . Charming cottage and the beds were so comfortable . But all looking a bit tired . Very quiet and peaceful location . Would certainly book another stay . My second visit to this group of cottages .

We had a lovely holiday, it was just what we needed.

The Cottage provided all we required & the location was brilliant to get out & about. Especially loved the 'short cut' through to the High Street & right next to the ice-cream shop too

Very comfy beds, beautiful garden, location is good just through the passage and you're on the main street and so quiet.

Only issue was the pendant lights in the kitchen and floor lamp in the lounge as my husband is nearly 6'6". This also meant that he had a problem with the using the rain showerhead in the shower cubicle.

Great cottage, especially Kim the house keeper/ manager, who was so helpful!

! Which made our stay great, our family were meeting us there, she was so kind and thoughtful! Made our stay!!!!

Lovely cottage in a perfect location.

Had everything we needed which led to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The beds were really comfy too - best nights sleep I’ve had for ages.

This is a gorgeous cottage in a stunning location.

It is beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable. The cottage was spotless. The ONLY reason I did not give it five stars was the internet. I had to use my mobile data to do anything online and with a teenage and 20 year boy old this was one thing that let it down. We like to watch a film together in the evening and had to be content with normal TV. It’s just something to bear in mind if you have a family

Lovely quietly located cottage conveniently located for the High Street.

Comfortable, clean and cosy. Housekeep particularly quick and helpful to resolve a small issue.

It was a terrible smell from the sewage in the appartement, the shower full of mold, the shower head extremely dirty,….

We avoided to stay in the Cottage used it only for sleeping and leave immediately after wake up. For the Price a disgrace.

Great location and price.

Property in need of some basic maintenance, however, e.g. window stay in bedroom 2, kitchen bin, plug socket in bedroom 2 has come away from wall, lighting along pathway to High Street, shower head holders needed in both bathrooms, wine chiller not working plus others. These are minor issues of basic maintenance that could be sorted in a few hours. Otherwise, the location was perfect and it is a nice property for 4 or 5 adults. Dave
