  • "A beautifully furnished property."

    High-end fixtures & fittings. Fantastic hot-tub. Lovely beds/quilts. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Just a couple of minor niggles: i) floors looked clean but were very dirty/dusty. We have a small child who bum-shuffles around the floors & her little legs/feet were black. ii) a measuring jug in the kitchen would be useful when cooking. Overall, a wonderful, large property which I would love to return to. *my score of 7/10 relates to sykes, as they cancelled our original holiday at very short notice. Luckily we found this property which we were very pleased with.

  • "Excellent property with open plan kitchen dinner, and lounge."

    Even though it was extremely hot, the lay out of the open plan living space with the two doors meant that a nice breeze flew through the house. The accommodation came with lots of amenities. The hot tub is an added bonus along with the table tennis table. Highly recommended! The only feedback I would give is to please install fly traps. The next door neighbour had a BBQ and there were a few flies coming into the kitchen. Also, it would have been good to have some spare towels for the hot tub, and a bedsheets instead of duvets in this heat.

  • "Beautiful place and accommodation."

    Beds was comfortable except for one which was the main bedroom with cot. But overall very comfortable all the other rooms. Lacking few facilities like no hairdryer, cleaning clothes and materials, TV missing in two rooms and no sky TV. But nice quite location and not far from local shops or main town if you have a car. Would come back again and recommend your property. Thank you for having us.

  • "I cannot emphasise enough how much we enjoyed our stay at Chillon."

    We chose the Cotswolds for our first reunion post my retirement. My friends and former colleagues from a European collaboration came from four countries and we were thrilled with the cottage which was spacious, very well equipped, spotlessly clean (we wondered if it was brand new and we were the first to stay in it) and in a great location. A wonderful long weekend!

  • "We have just returned from a weekend away at Chillon for my Dad’s birthday."

    Wow! What a beautifully presented house, we couldn’t believe how big it was, such a great social space and fantastic facilities. The house is immaculate and very modern. Luke was extremely helpful in the run up to our stay with recommendations of where to eat etc. They had also left some activity packs for my kids and a card for my Dad’s birthday - such lovely touches that didn’t go unnoticed and made us feel very welcome. Thank you Luke and team for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back and would recommend Chillon to anyone looking for a modern, clean and spacious place to stay.

  • "A generally excellent holiday property, with a lot of brand new facilities."

    It was spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. An ideal base for touring parts of Warwickshire, Worcestershire and the Cotswolds. Our party was primarily visiting Stratford, which was around 25 mins drive. Minor grumbles relate to the newness of the property and, I guess, some inexperience of holiday letting on the part of the owners. For example, it would be helpful to provide in the property a folder with information, such as WiFi code (it's not helpful to provide this by email at 2.15pm on the day of arrival - most people are travelling to the property at that time, so miss the message), information on bin collection ( do both bins go out? and how should refuse be sorted? Different local authorities have different policies in respect of these things), how to operate the heating system and other appliances. Additionally, some practicalities such as clothes hooks and shelving in the bathrooms, could be improved. Also, we didn't find the lounge suite very comfortable. Overall, we were very happy with the accommodation, and hope you find these comments helpful.

  • "The house is beautiful!"

    Photos does not do the place justice, the suprise on everyone's face when they walked through the front door was so nice to see. We spent 2 nights at the Chillon with my family including 2 kids under the age of 5. The facility had everything we needed for our stay. Dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets are provided which is super. Our only comment is the towels had a strange smell to them when they were damp/wet, we couldn't quite figure out what it was but other than that we couldn't fault the stay!

  • "What an amazing space- open plan/ single story!"

    It was a super home to host friends like family. The cooking facilities were fantastic/ eating space and crockery vast. The hot tub/ table tennis/ games provided super entertainment across a number of generations. The owner was very responsive and supportive. We strongly recommend!

Honeybourne is a lovely rural village in the Cotswolds, beautifully positioned to access the famous villages of Broadway and Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Evesham and many others. For those wanting to catch up on a bit of theatrical culture there is Stratford upon Avon which hosts the famous Shakespeare Theatre and several Shakespearian buildings, shops, restaurants and the lovely river with its colourful canal boats. Oxford, Cheltenham and Warwick are also within an easy commute of 40 minutes. Honeybourne is one of the few villages with its own train station and a direct line to London. Within the village there is a local convenience store, Post Office ,fish and chip shop, two pubs (one is a 13th century thatchd tavern) both serving good food and a Chinese takeaway. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants within a 5/10 minute drive in neighbouring villages including the famous "Fleece Inn" at Bretforton, a National Trust medieval pub famous for its Morris dancing, folk music and rural/food festivals. For those with younger children there is the "All ThingsWild" centre to go and enjoy a host of activities centres on animals and nature. Cyclists and walkers are spoilt with a range of beautiful walks and cycle routes starting in the village and there is horseriding available at various locations within a 20 minute drive.
