  • "A dream come true!"

!! A piece of paradise! There are not words of praise enough to accurately describe this little slice of heaven. Only wished we had arrived there sooner and stayed longer. Absolute perfection and the perfect ending to a birthday celebration. 3 Masons Ct will forever take the top spot on our long list of stays!!! We will cherish our memories here forever. Thank you!!!! Helen, Peggy and Rosemary

  • "Lovely house."

Very comfortable and clean. Initial problems with heating which owner did sort out quickly. Parking very unsatisfactory. Having to mount pavement and park on muddy, soggy ground. Also under a tree so car covered in bird droppings. Although bedrooms are very cosy - in two of them there is no where to put anything. The hangers in little back bedroom are so high that I couldn’t reach them. No drawer space either. That said it is a charming house in an excellent position.

Thank you for providing us with your feedback. We are sorry to hear of the issues that you encountered during your stay. We are glad to hear that the heating was fixed quickly. The parking space is now fully stoned and we have provided more hangers for guests. At 5 ft 3 I am able to comfortably reach the hanging rail in the bedroom to which you refered Property Owner

  • "Cottage was lovely, so much history."

It was clean and very comfortable, with good quality furnishings and bedding. Kitchen well stocked and the bottle of wine and biscuits left was a lovely touch. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

  • "We wanted to go somewhere that would enable us to be central to the town whilst being unique and provide an experience as well."

This cottage lived up to everything. The decor of the house was impeccable and the dining and lounge areas so practical and comfortable. Clothes storage was limited but we were only there for a long weekend and so was not an issue for us. Beds very comfortable and area surprisingly quiet for being so central. It was a privilege to be able to stay in a house with so much history and character. Instructions before and when we arrived were clear, we had no problems at all. Nice touches such as the tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, wine and items to help with cleaning, all perfect. We loved it.

Thank you for providing us with such lovely feedback. It's great to hear that you enjoyed your stay at 3 Masons Court, and took full advantage of the property and the surrounding areas! We hope to welcome you back to the cottage any time in the future and thank you once again for providing us with your feedback. Property Owner

  • "If you’re thinking of booking this listing Do It!"

!! The house is lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed, the house was nice and clean. We had two cars but parking the second was easy as there were plenty of places around we could use whilst one of us used the allocated space. Chestnut walk was the best place to park. The house has so much character and history you won’t want to leave! I was surprised at how central the house is. Very near everything!! It was opposite Ely street leading in to Sheep street which has loads of bars, restaurants and cafes and lead to the water front. It is a very short walk to Shakespeare’s birth place and new place. If you have kids it’s worth checking out the MAD museum.

Thank you so much for your feedback, it sounds like you had a fantastic time and we will pass your comments on to the owner! Property Owner

  • "3 Mason's Court is a most extraordinary cottage to let."

A gem, in the middle of Stratford, which has been renovated to the highest standards of comfort and cleanliness, whilst still maintaining the character and quirkiness of the building. No comfort was not thought about, from the exceptionally comfortable beds, high quality sheets and towels, and beautiful log fire. Every moment spent was a pleasure - we even ended up cancelling our dinner reservation in Stratford so that we could spend more time in the house. A really exceptional experience, and the owner makes it all so easy.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely comments on 3 Mason's Court. Property Owner

The property

Both inside and outside 3 Masons Court retains most of its original charm, with wattle and daub walls and oak panelling, the appeal of this incredible building is unquestionable.

The current owners have undergone a painstaking renovation so that none of the history is lost while at the same time creating a contemporary interior that took our breath away when we visited.

Ideal for parties up to 6 people, the property is spacious and welcoming.

On the ground floor there is a large living room with wood burner in an inglenook fireplace, two large luxury sofas and an armchair, leading to a similarly large dining room and separate kitchen.

The kitchen has everything you will need for a culinary feast, but with Stratford’s town centre about 2 minute walk away, you might be tempted to leave the cooking to a bare minimum!

Hidden in the corner of the ground floor is a bathroom, with the eye catching brass bath, a must for a long soak after a long day sight-seeing. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a family bathroom all located off the main landing with its charming, wonky floor!

The master bedroom is large, welcoming and very luxurious.

The two further bedrooms a good size, both with double beds and just beautifully furnished.

The shower room has a top-notch walk in shower.

The property is striking in more ways than one and as a choice for groups or families up to six people, there are few better places in Stratford.

It’s charm and unique appeal make it a rare, one-off holiday home where history, literally, surrounds you.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £250.
