  • "Our second visit this year to Wren cottage, and it didn’t disappoint ."

..we’ve stayed in Stratford-Upon-Avon many times in the past , whether it be hotels or self catering accommodation, Wren cottage is the cleanest property we have stayed in! The walk shower is great and a shower mat is provided although for our preference we would have preferred a longer shower mat ,also maybe a hook on the wall outside the shower to hang a towel when stepping out the shower.. The garden is attractive and and well kept another reason for rebooking Wren cottage which we had looked forward to using ,although the weather prevented that even so it was still lovely to look at. The parking facility is a bonus. Stratford has many attractions , many great places to eat and is an ideal base for exploring, we are looking forward to our next revisit!

  • "This property is ideally placed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Stratford."

20 minute max walk to town by the river. The place was spotlessly clean( our main priority when staying away). The house is very tastefully furnished with a pleasant garden. Quality bedding and a nice bathroom. Kitchen modern and very well equipped. This property is one of the nicest we have stayed in and we hope to return in the future. Had some minimal contact with the owner, she was extremely helpful seemed a really nice lady. Thanks again Helen Phil and Pat.

Thank you for your lovely comments and five star review. So pleased to hear that you loved staying at Wren Cottage - you were great guests! I look forward to your return visit in the future, best wishes Helen Property Owner

  • "Amazing cottage."

Was our second time at Wren Cottage and loved it just as much, if not more than first time due to subtle improvements like the addition of a chaise sofa. Owners are friendly with a welcome message and a safe travels message. Cannot fault it.

Thank you so much for your glowing review Lisa! It’s always so lovely to welcome returning guests back, and we’re delighted that you enjoyed another great stay at Wren Cottage. We aim to upgrade and improve the facilities we offer on an ongoing basis, which this year has included the new chaise sofa and local artworks displayed on the walls. So glad everything met with your approval! Best wishes, Helen Property Owner

  • "Wren Cottage is beautifully clean, well equipped and very comfortable."

The beds are so comfortable, we have never slept so well! The garden is a credit to the owners and a relaxing place for morning coffee and afternoon tea. Having stayed in Wren many times, it is a pleasure to return and hope to do so again in the near future. Wren is well located for a short walk into Stratford and walks along the Greenway. Old Town off road parking is an added bonus. Paul and Sara.

So lovely to welcome you back to Wren Cottage again this summer! And thanks so much Paul and Sara for a wonderful review. We very much look forward to your next visit… Best wishes, Helen Property Owner

  • "This property is first class."

From the moment you step through the door it’s obvious that owners have taste. It’s so welcoming and spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and furniture. The garden is amazing, beautiful shrubs and flowers. We were lucky with the weather so we’re able take full advantage of it. The off road parking a bonus and so convenient for Stratford town centre that we didn’t use our car. We would definitely recommend this property and will return subject to availability.

Thank you so much for your brilliant review! We’re delighted that you loved your stay at Wren Cottage and had such a good week. Please do come back soon! Best wishes, Helen Property Owner

  • "Just returned from a perfect stay at Wren Cottage."

A great little find for exploring the area, with its own designated car parking space and a neat garden with outside furniture. Beautifully decorated with quality linens and towells , well equipped and extremely cosy and comfortable . Welcome pack of milk, tea and coffee pods gratefully received. Easy 20 minute walk into Stratford town centre either by road or along the river where we found many shops, cafés and restaurants. We have stayed in numerous cottages over the years and Wren Cottage is by far one of the best. Highly recommend

  • "We wanted to meet up with friends who live at the other end of the country and visit the theatre in Stratford, so Wren cottage - only a leisurely 10 minute walk from the RSC and town - was perfect for us for our short break together."

The cottage was absolutely lovely and spotlessly (I don't use that word lightly, it really was) clean, very well-presented and very comfortable. It has a lovely little garden and we were sorry not to be able to use it (if you visit in Ffebruary, as we did, it's unlikely, isn't it?!). The beds were extremely comfortable, the house was very warm and our friend who is disabled appreciated the lovely walk-in shower. A designated parking space was very nice to have and our friends were able to park in the parking area opposite (which is ordinarily limited to two hours) using their blue badge. We had a fantastic time at Wren cottage and recommend it for anyone who wants somewhere more comfortable to stay than a hotel.
