  • "A lovely barn conversion with splendid views over the Cotswold, hence the name."

    Large open plan kitchen and lounge area suitable for all ages. Only small gripe is that the bedrooms could do with a chest of drawers. Location is great for visiting Blenheim Palace and the lovely Cotswold villages. Would definitely return in the future.

  • "Lovely holiday home which was even nicer than the photos with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside."

    In a good location for exploring the Cotswolds and excellent train links to Oxford and London for trips further afield. Plenty of nearby pubs for meals out - we liked The Swan in Ascott-under-Wychood. Bright, spacious, peaceful, relaxing accommodation which made our holiday so enjoyable.

  • "We had a wonderful holiday."

    Our daughter and son in law and little granddaughter Effie. Wonderful accommodation and the most gorgeous little Ruby (Irish terrier pup) who visited us most days when she heard us in the garden. I seriously wanted to bring her home! The only slight negative and this is my personal preference would be to have had a summer duvet in the main bedroom, as it got very warm at night with the thick one and no windows to open. Other than that everything was perfect! Thank you

  • "Explanation TV would be nice BBC we didnt find"

  • "In smaller bedroom only hanging facilities were hooks over door not suitable for trousers, shirts etc In en-suite glass shelf over small basin made teeth cleaning a challenge!"

    Hook on that door would have been handy. A light to read by in the evening in lounge would have been good. Superb location. Well equipped kitchen.

  • "The property is stunning."

    Beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless. We would totally recommend to anyone considering a stay in this area. This was by far the nicest property of this size we found. Very thoughtful in terms of everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Great location to access many gorgeous places to visit too. This is more personal preference, but blinds over the skylights might be nice. It was very bright at 5am and on holiday be nice to lie in :) The aga didn’t seem very hot .. although we aren’t used to using one, so may be more designed for v slow cooking. Overall we had a great stay - thank you!

  • "A beautiful barn conversion with the view to die for."

    Lots of care and consideration have been put into the house to make the guests' stay as comfortable as possible. Nice touch of the welcome pack of milk, biscuits and fresh eggs from the farm, which are all gratefully received. Things might not have got around to fit into the property are a wardrobe for hanging up the clothes and a blind/curtain in the cloakroom for privacy. Owners Fiona and Andy are very nice and friendly, quickly resolved the small hiccup of the dish washer and give us some information about the local area. The location is ideal to explore the surrounding areas: Bourton on the water, Bibury, Burford etc. A lovely stay overall, would definitely come back next time visiting the area.
