  • "We had a lovely stay at Pheasant Cottage."

It was very comfortable and well equipped. The cottage is located in a beautiful area and within easy walking distance to the pub. Walks on your doorstep that sadly we didn't get a chance to do. We had chosen Pheasant Cottage for it's position as it was close to family members we were visiting. Would definitely book again.

Thank you very much for providing us with your feedback. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you back any time in the future. Property Owner

the owners lived across from the property and were very pleasant and helpful. We were there to meet our son and family who had just returned from the Falklands and the 2 grand children stayed the night with us. The location was ideal for them. A nice safe environment for them to play. I would recommend this property.

Many thanks for recommending Pheasant Cottage. We hope you had a lovely time with your grand children. Property Owner

  • "Spacious cottage in idyllic and peaceful setting."

5 mins walk to village pub. No shops in village but only 15 mins walk to well stocked Spar shop. Old Mister Lovell village is a very picturesque typical Cotswold village and the ruins of Minster Lovell Hall are amazing and well worth a visit. Convenient for visiting Burford and Witney. We really enjoyed our stay at Pheasant cottage and hope to return soon. Many thanks to Sue and Jacques.

Of course the hot weather was an added bonus but the fact that the thick stone walls kept the cottage cool even on the hottest day was much appreciated. The cottage was clean, well equipped and very comfortable.

  • "The facilities were great and the cottage was everything we expected (larger than we had anticipated but that was a real bonus)."

We had a really comfortable stay and the owners were lovely. Land available (should we have wanted to use it) was also a bonus. There was an abundance of information in the cottage about the cottage itself and the area we were visiting. The location was great for our purposes. The cottage provided privacy, peace and quiet and a beautiful setting for a relaxing holiday. We loved staying at Pheasant Cottage - highly recommended.

The weather unfortunalty was not the best but coming back to this warm cosy cottage made the holiday. The cottage is very comfortable and very well equipped. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Sunny patio area with bbq had the weather been better. Would be happy to stay again.

There are public footpaths that cross the field to the parish church or across the river to a small weir where local children often go to swim.
