"Lovely cottage in a quiet area, ideal for exploring the nearby villages and surrounding countryside."
Just a couple of small things that would make it even better:
A clearer sign at the driveway entrance.
Trimming the bushes back on the driveway to give more space on the drive for wider cars.
The mattresses were too soft for us, but appreciate you can’t please everyone.
Thank you for staying with us and glad you enjoyed your time.
The postcode takes you directly to the house and the sign is on the gate post but I'll check it's all still there and visible.
My housekeepers large transit van uses the drive frequently so I'll check in with them re the bushes..... we do trim it often it maybe it's due another cut. Thank you

"Lovely little Cottage and very homely."
Fully equipped kitchen.
Second bedroom a little small for 2 adults (would suit children better) and no room to put clothes/belongings but was fine as we only stayed 3 nights so managed and lived out of suitcase.
Perfect location to visit all the beautiful villages in the Cotswolds. Local pub short walk away - very friendly and serves good meals.
Would visit again.
So glad you enjoyed your stay. We are in a good position to access the area .The Hare is a great pub walking distance from us.... it's very popular with our guests.
There is a cupboard in the second bedroom to put your things in.... and hangers behind the door. There are pictures of the cottage and rooms on the website to get an idea of where you will be staying.

"My dream to stay in a little old cottage came true."
Kitchen and bathroom were like in a new house. The interior was very cosy and we felt really comfortable.
Outside it was surrounded by trees and a tennis court.
We would love to come again
That's so good to hear! So pleased everything was good for you.... much appreciate your 5* review

"The cottage itself is a lovely space, in a wonderful location."
The only let down was the two doors for the main bedroom are in desperate need of planing, meaning neither closed properly. This may be due to a faulty extractor in the bathroom making humidity levels high and therefore swelling. As it was we couldn't close either door properly and they "stuck" in such a way that getting up the night made a lot of noise, waking those in the 2nd bedroom. It's a small thing but quite impactful. Otherwise it was great.
We had had a flood the days before you arrived and had mended and painted everything so we could host you and not cancel.... I came down a few times to explain the doors were sticking but never caught you!
All sorted now.

"A lovely cottage in a beautiful place."
We loved every minute and would definitely go there again, the only suggestion for the owner would be to have some space for tenants to away their kitchen supplies.
Thank you for your amazing review! They do make a difference and glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We really do try to make everything as good as we can for our guests.... thank you and for your feedback.

"Finding the little white cottage could be made easier with property sign visible from the road
The cottage is great , nice outside area , cushions ect, clean and warm
Shower could do with some attention."
The shower rose needs cleaning and de lime scaling.
Main issue was the tv unwatchable, if you can’t provide a service leave it out and market as off the grid and provide music and game options
I'm so sorry re the TV ..... I'm not sure what's happened. It worked fine when we tested it but we'll be on it! If you'd let us know we could have tried to sort it for you. We have found subsequently that there was a warning about interference to the tv signal for our area so I'm sorry it seems it was out of any of our control.
Glad you enjoyed your stay and the cottage. Thank you for staying with us.

"Driveway a little narrow for the larger 4x4 like mine, hedges need trimming back!"
No places to keep food in kitchen other than fridge,
TV a little small and the reception not very good as always dropping in and out of channels especially BBC 1.
If you have children the television even on low can be heard in all the rooms as cottage quite small!
Seating in living room for 4 adults is tight as only one small settee and 1 chair.
On the plus side, positioned well for visiting most of the popular local attractions around the Cotswolds and very quite at night!
Thank you for your feedback. We haven't had any other comments re the above but we will look into them of course. I'm glad you enjoyed the quiet location and attractions.

"The cottage is in a great location."
Everywhere in the Cotswolds was easy to get to, and the village has everything you need, with a pub and a shop nearby.
The cottage was very clean and generally well maintained. We found that the sofa and bed weren't particularly comfortable, but we do understand why the bed needs to be a zip link. More mugs and glasses would be helpful, including some decent wine glasses.
Thank you for your review. Im glad you liked the area.
Its a shame you didn't contact housekeeping with any of your concerns we could have sorted them for you. The cottage is equipped for 4 people and there is enough for that many people as far as glasses, mugs etc. There were 2 of you but we could have provided more if you had asked us no problem. Its always difficult comparing your own bed to one in a holiday cottage as everyone likes a different mattress type. Ours are hotel quality and we have always been told how comfy they are. We try our best!

"A lovely little cottage in a quaint and pretty village."
The wood burner was a bonus but not easy to keep going ( one of our party is well acquainted with wood burners) . The cottage was clean and comfortable . Only one bathroom but large and with a bath and separate shower . More mugs, glasses and general crockery would be useful and a coffee table but these are minor details and I would recommend The Little White Cottage and the local pub ‘The Hare ‘ has amazing food.

"We are in our late-seventies."
My wife has limited mobility. Property described as ground floor. No mention made of 3 unsupported steps down to entrance or further 2 internal steps from bedrooms to bathroom.
I'm sorry you had problems with the 3 stairs outside. I'll make sure that that is included in the external description. The 2 steps with a handrail to the bedrooms is included in the cottage description.

"Ideal location and stunning little cottage, slight mark down on comfort is simply because the bed was a little firm and the sofa a little low for my personal preference but would not stop me booking here again."
Thank you for staying with us and so pleased you enjoyed your stay . The sofa is a standard size so I'm sorry you found it too low.

"Loved this place."
Hope to return in the not too distant future. I slept really well as it is so quiet there at night. Would be even better with blackout blinds in the two bedrooms.
So happy you enjoyed your stay with us. It is very quiet at night as you say.
We have got blackout curtains in the bedroom . I think at a short time of the year the sun's angle plays a part....to be honest having bright sunshine is a win this summer!!
Thank you so much for staying with us.

"Cute little cottage well hidden but handily located in a lovely village, sad they could not leave a welcome pack after a long drive a cup of tea would have welcome but alas up to the shop for milk."
owners were lovely we had a problem with the oven door on the sunday by monday morning it was repaired.overall a very nice cottage would recomend it to anyone wanting a nice quiet relaxing holiday.
So glad you enjoyed your stay. We had had quite a lot of wasted milk as guests seem to be drinking different kinds now.....the Coop is a 5 minute walk and provides all different types of milk so hopefully that worked for you. We do offer a welcome pack full of information about the local area for things to go and see what to do. It was lovely to have you stay with us.
