  • "We had a great stay at this cottage for a week in October."

The cottage has everything you need and is well maintained. You certainly get the wow effect coming down the driveway. Inside is very cosy especially when the log fire is going and it was great to see so many original features. It is in a lovely area with two pubs within a 10 minute walk, both of which we ate in and would recommend. (The White Heart and The Old Swan) You can walk to The Farmers Dog albeit slightly longer but we made it in around 45 minutes and it was definitely worth it. There is a good circular walk starting from Minster Lovell Ruins, it is around 3 miles with The Lamb a great place to stop for a drink on the way round. We didn't spend all our time in pubs though... Burford is a pretty town to venture to as is Burton on the Water and Chipping Norton. The Cotswolds Wildlife centre is a great day out and it is amazing that you can take dogs with you, our dog loved it and was great to watch her see and smell so many new animals. We had a great week - thank you very much Message to the owner: We got all the way home and I realised I'd left the dog food behind. Feel free to keep it for your Poppy.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments, we are delighted you and your dog enjoyed the property and lovely walks from the door. It's a great location to explore the area and we would love to welcome you back again soon. Kind regards Manor Cottages. Property Owner
