  • "We absolutely loved Tiggywinkles!"

The site is fabulous, beautiful views and very peaceful. The lodge is immaculate and has been furnished to a very high standard. The beds are the most comfortable beds we have ever stayed in whilst staying in holidays homes! Everything was just perfect for a break away. Welcome treats were generous and even our dog was catered for. The local area is great. We enjoyed trips to Burford and Stow On The Wold which were around 25 / 30 minutes away by car and Chipping Norton which is less than ten minutes by car. We will definitely stay here again.

Thanks a million Carly. I'm so glad you all loved it so much. We've only had it since February and we spent so much time, effort and energy making sure it had everything a guest could need for a really nice stay, so your comments really make it all seem worthwhile. We did invest in really good beds and mattresses which ARE on the firm side, but we think they are seriously comfortable too. If you do come back, you must visit Woodstock and Blenheim Palace as they are amazing, along with all the other places recommended in our Guest Information Pack (which took my partner John hours and hours to do)! Got some fab rates for the off season too which you should consider, as the Cotswolds is a fab place to visit whatever the weather. Many thanks again x Property Owner

  • "A lovely quiet place, with a beautiful view."

The interior and decor is to a very high standard with everything you need and more. It’s in walking distance to chipping Norton and 10 - 20 min drive to lots of picturesque villages. Will definitely book again

Hi Michelle. Sorry for the late response but we were away in sunny Cornwall for a few days. I'm so glad that your Mum and sister had such a lovely time and apologies for not recognising your voice when we spoke! Glad they had everything they needed. Hopefully they can stay a bit longer next time as there are so many places that they would never have had time to see. All the best and I'll see you soon no doubt :) x Property Owner

  • "The owners kept in touch with us and we found the lodge to be extremely clean and very comfortable."

Everything needed was provided including a very detailed information pack which was most helpful. The balcony faces an open field and as the site is quiet it was lovely sitting outside in the afternoon and evening. We visited Stow Kingham Burford and the Hook Norton brewery which are all only a short drive away. This is an ideal place to visit this area and a lovely lodge to stay in.,Thank you so much

Hi Vivienne. We are so pleased to hear that you and your guest had such a lovely stay and we would love to have you back anytime. I can't thank you enough for stripping the beds and leaving the lodge so clean and tidy, I'm pretty sure you cleaned the showers too! It was such a lovely surprise when I turned up to do my 'changeover', and your efforts allowed me to watch a bit of Wimbledon instead! I'm glad you got to explore the area a bit and if you ever fancied a winter break you really should come and visit when Blenheim Palace do their Christmas Lights - it is honestly the most magical experience you could ever imagine, and we are offering some fantastic rates too ;) Thanks again Zoe and John Property Owner

  • "The mobile home is only a few months old and in very good condition as were the furnishings which are of a high standard."

It was fully equipped including all necessary cooking and eating implements. The mobile is sited on a caravan site but at the far end from the entrance on an area where only mobile homes and lodges are allowed. There is a good sized patio area with furniture and a gas bbq. The site was nice and quiet mainly with caravans many of which appeared to be on the site fairly permanently. We were made very welcome by the owners who provided good instructions for our arrival and who were easy to contact with any queries during our stay. Allen & Christine Harvey

Hi Allen and Christine. Apologies for my late reply but I was away for a holiday myself, so have only just seen your lovely feedback. Thank you so much for your kind words and I'm so happy that you both enjoyed your stay with us. I'm a bit of a foodie and have always hated it when we have gone away only to find a couple of frying pans, a wooden spoon and a fish slice as the only kind of kitchen implement, so we really have tried to provide a myriad of utensils, mixing bowls, baking and serving dishes etc enabling our guests to cook whatever their hearts desire. I'm glad you approved of the 'site' itself as we think it really is a 'cut above' the norm, which can look a bit tired and tacky. Thank you also for leaving the lodge so clean and tidy . . . come back anytime ;) x Property Owner

Perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds, the place was so comfortable and lovely and such friendly hosts making sure we had everything we needed ( including treats left out for the dog )

Hi Dale - thanks a lot :), we're so glad you enjoyed yourself and found Tiggywinkles to be so comfortable. We are real dog lovers ourselves, so always like to leave something for any fur babies that come to stay - after all, it's their holiday too! Would love to have you back anytime. • "We had a lovely stay at Tiggyinkles."

The owners communicated very well with us and upon arrival had left biscuits, tea, coffee and milk which was very welcome and a lovely gesture. The lodge was immaculate and very comfortable with everything in good working order. The location was great for exploring the beautiful Cotswold area and we hope to return again soon. We would definitely recommend.

Hi Victoria. We are so happy to hear that you and your guests liked the lodge and had fun - what a pity you only stayed a couple of nights though as I really feel that you need a good four days to have a proper look around the area . . . maybe next time ;) ! Do bear us in mind around Christmas time, as there are some great deals to be had and the Cotswolds is truly magical around the 'silly season' and, let's face it, the weather will probably be better!!! • "Fantastic location to explore the Cotswolds."

The site itself is quiet and well looked after and very dog friendly. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. We all found the beds very comfortable (and I have a bad back) and it was obvious the beds are new also loved the showers very modern and easy to control. Everything was thought about well as there was even an umbrella handy. Thank you Zoe.

Hi Karen. Thanks for all your lovely comments. I hope the weather allowed you and your husband to explore the area with your doggies, as there really are some beautiful walks in the surrounding countryside. I'm glad you found the lodge to your liking, especially the beds, as a previous guest had found them uncomfortable so that was really good to hear. Thank you for leaving Tiggywinkles 'ship shape' for me, it was really appreciated and a huge thank you to your lovely plumber hubby who tightened my swivelling kitchen tap - I it was sending me mad! Your handwritten note was lovely, and you'll be pleased to hear that I have taken your suggestion on board and the lodge now possesses some bakeware dishes for lasagna and shepherds pies etc. Being an avid cook myself I can't believe I missed that one! • "This was a terrific find."

Super secure site & an overnight noise curfew. The lodge was so deceptive. Really modern & clean. Great location too. It’s on my list of places to revisit.

Hi Mary, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay - it's so peaceful isn't it. We refer to the lodge as 'the Tardis', as it really is deceptively spacious. I hope you and your guest took the opportunity to explore the area as there are so many fab places to visit and if you didn't see Woodstock and Blenheim and The Chequers pub/restaurant in neighbouring Churchill I seriously advise going on your return trip, as they are amazing - but you really are spoilt for choice. Thank you for texting me your early departure time and leaving the lodge so clean and tidy, as it allowed me to offer the next guests an early check-in, which I like to do whenever possible. We hope to see you again in the near future, Zoe and John Property Owner

Everything you need for a great vacation. Couldn’t fault it. Very nice quiet site. Comfort personified.Watched the hares each morning in the field. Truly enjoyable stay. Look forward to visiting again. Thank you Zoe for use of your Lodge, you should be proud.

Hi Pearl-Ann. So glad you and your guest had such a nice stay - we love watching the bunnies frolicking in the fields too, as do our dogs Peanut and Frazzle, although they do so rather more noisily! Our neighbours said you were both utterly delightful, which was proven more so after I arrived to do my changeover clean and basically had nothing to do, as you had obviously cleaned the lodge from top to bottom - what a lovely lady you are. We would happily welcome you for a return visit anytime. Kindest regards Zoe and John Property Owner

  • "This mobile home is well-situated, well-presented and spotlessly clean."

We found the furnishing/beds very comfortable. In summary - two adults and two dogs enjoyed our stay. The location is private at the edge of a caravan Park which was only partly occupied for our stay (April). There is a small Waitrose within walking distance - but you need to cross a busy road. Nearby Chipping Norton and eg Churchill are great for a visit and pub meal.

Thanks a lot for your feedback and we're glad you enjoyed your stay and that you found the lodge to be immaculately clean - I always knew my slight OCD tendencies would come in handy at some point! Hopefully the terrible weather didn't dampen your experience and it was lovely to receive your note about how much you enjoyed our favorite restaurant (The Chequers in Churchill). As with all our previous guests, a big thank you for leaving the lodge so clean and tidy it really is always appreciated. Kindest regards Zoe and John Property Owner

  • "We had a two night stay over Easter weekend, we got to arrive early with the heating already on for us thanks to Zoe who called us early."

We arrived to a lovely hand written card and biscuits, which made us feel very comfortable. The entire lodge was immaculate and very well decorated. The motion light in the hallway was a lovely touch for checking my child in the night. Water pressure in the shower was good and the Wi-Fi helped us wind down in front of the tv with the fire on in the evening. We also visited the local crocodile zoo and wildlife park which we very much enjoyed.

Many thanks Samantha for your fab feedback. We are yet to visit the wildlife park but hear it's a really good day out so it's definitely on our 'to do' list. So glad you managed to get out and about as the weather was pretty shocking. Thank you for stripping your beds and taking your rubbish to the communal bins when you left, it was most appreciated. She even offered to put the heating on for us just before we arrived too. Once we arrived the place was just as described. A very modern and comfortable lodge with everything you would need. We were greeted by a welcome card which was hand written and a box of chocolate fingers too. There was even some dog treats , mat, bowl and towel all ready to use as well. Everything was great and we enjoyed a very relaxing stay. Would highly recommend

Thanks a lot Adam, we are so pleased you, your guest and your doggie had a lovely time, even if the weather was horrendous - typical English springtime! I always like to offer an early check-in if I manage to get the place cleaned early on in the day, as my partner and I know that every second counts when taking a short break away. Hopefully you will consider returning when the weather is better, so you can take advantage of the outside decking and BBQ - as it really is wonderful when the sun shines.
