"Enjoyed a great holiday at Tawney's farm."
Rachel and Dave were very welcoming and it was a treat to meet all the animals on the farm and even feed some lambs. Very interesting to watch all the goings on on the farm. Kingfisher lodge was well equipped, very clean and modern and had everything we needed. Great having the patio doors and sitting out next to the wildlife pond. We saw herons, ducklings and red kites among others. Tawney's farm is very easy to access Oxford and the Cotswolds and also had a day trip to Legoland. Lovely walks along the Thames Path too with Eynsham and Witney near by.

"Very nice property: modern, clean, warm, comfortable."
Good bath and shower rooms. Really liked the little patio overlooking wild pond. Friendly welcome from owner. Enjoyed the peaceful rural location. Farm/horse activity interesting to us 'townies'. Would have liked some hanging hooks in bedrooms in absence of wardrobes! But plenty of drawer/shelf space.

"Kingfisher was lovely, we have stayed in the adjoining property previously but Kingfisher has the advantage of patio doors looking out over a lovely pond ideal for bird watching {we saw a green woodpecker and a little egret} and listening to the frogs chorus."
The property was immaculate and extremely clean and had everything needed to make a wonderful restful stay. We also loved the chats with Rachel and David the owners and watching the horses exercising.

20 minute walk to Harcourt Arms pub (amazing food) - remember to bring a torch when dark as there is no street lighting on route. Easy 10 minute drive to Witney for cinema, shops, restaurants and groceries. Great location for Oxford, Bicester Outlet, Blenheim Place and other picturesque local market towns.

"Friendly and welcoming place!"
Amazing for Kids
Very clean, modern newly built conversion, ideal for short stays with family.
Particularly interesting for children (and adults!) thanks to the many animals on the farm!
The kind and welcoming owners showed all the animals and let the kids feed and interact with them, which was very special.
VERY Clean and NICE, a well looked after place, felt like a luxury hotel but a little better thanks to the breathtaking views.
Hope to come back

The accommodation has been finished to a very high standard, with an outdoor seating area overlooking the pond.
The property is perfectly located for a stroll down to the River Thames, local pubs with great food or a day trip to Oxford for a bit of culture.

"The cottages have been recently renovated to a lovely standard with nice features and all The essentials needed for a family break."
Our young children loved the trip - feeding a lamb in the stables was the highlight for our toddler, together with meeting the farm owners who were very welcoming. And there was lots more to see close by including horses, sheep, cows, tractors etc... a real experience for our city kids!
It’s a short walk to the local village where the pub restaurant’s food is very tasty and service is family friendly, albeit a little pricey. And within a short drive there’s lots more to explore - splendid villages, pubs, walks and the farm shop with a great animal area and playground. We didn’t venture to Oxford or the Cotswolds as time was short but would imagine they are easily accessible from here too.

"We absolutely loved our week away at Kingfisher in the Old Stables."
From the moment we walked in, right up until leaving we felt at home. The owners are lovely, really friendly and welcoming. The old stables are finished to a really lovely standard, clean, nice and modern. We loved the French doors out onto the patio to sit in the evening and have a drink. The kids absolutely loved Beau (the sheep dog) and Joey (the lamb) and spent most days playing with them, in and around the barn. We were genuinely sad to leave, the time went too quick. Hopefully we’ll be back again soon! Thank you for a great week away!

"We enjoyed a comfortable stay in Kingfisher."
The lounge was bright and pleasant with patio doors looking onto a lovely rural view. The garden area was private with a BBQ and seating for warm evenings overlooking the pond. The owners who live in the farmhouse were friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed the close proximity of the Kingfisher Cottage to the barn where we could feed Joey the pet lamb and observe farm life. It is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the village which has a pub and local shop. There are many interesting walks/running routes right on the doorstep including the Thames Pathway.
