Fantastic stay at Hime Farm, we had a great time.

Really well equipped, nicely furnished, garden was exceptional. This was our second visit and we will be back again!

A beautiful venue, gorgeous house.

Had a wonderful family stay here. Would be very happy to come back here. Lots of communal space both indpors and putdoors, and plenty of areas to retreat to as well. We were there in a heatwave however so additional fans would have been helpful, and additional parasols for shade. Lighting for the evening in the outdoor space would have further increased our rating. But overall great stay, really helpful accommodating property managers too.

This is a fantastic accommodation for a large family such as ours.

The house was used as a base/ preparations for our daughter‘s wedding in Oxford. The house and surrounding grounds is truly remarkable and we could not have asked for any better. We will certainly look to use Sykes cottages and also hopefully return back to Home Farm for a more relaxing family occasion.

We had a fabulous weekend.

This was our eighth annual visit. Such a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing house. 3 generations, all from different areas of the country, meeting up, playing games and talking and eating together. The tennis court was in constant use and the new games room was very popular. We love Home Farm.

We had a fabulous time at home farm to celebrate a 70th birthday in the family.

There were 12 of us together for a three night stay and we all thought home farm was ideal with lots of room and plenty to do. We absolutely loved the games room and held darts and pool tournaments. The grounds are lovely and the tennis court a nice feature. There were also walks from the house. We were pleased that there was plenty of kitchen space and equipment for all our (comprehensive) catering requirements. The sitting room is huge and a great place to gather. The dining room table seats12 comfortably, but there is also another table in the main kitchen that seats at least 6. We would definitely come again and stay longer next time!

Perfect location for an overdue family reunion and 70th birthday celebrations.

House and gardens are lovely location was quiet and picturesque, beds were comfortable and clean the boiler system was quite noisy at night so for the lighter sleepers at was a little frustrating but as the size of the house and age it was understandable, however overall the house was great facilities were great the games room was a great place for the younger guests to hide out. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Home Farm is a wonderful house and garden and this is the second time we have got all the family there for a fabulous holiday.

The children all love having so much space to run around and play games. Just a couple of small issues. We found the beds in the bedrooms with the Jack & Jill bathroom quite uncomfortable. The mattresses are not firm enough. Also the heating is a bit difficult to regulate. The kitchen is always lovely and warm with the Aga but we took a while to get the radiators in the other rooms to work satisfactorily. Despite this all the family had a wonderful half term break.

We had a wonderful school reunion in this stunning property.

Couldn’t fault the house, grounds, location and the fact that it was so well equipped and comfortable. Every thought had been put into to making our break so memorable. Thanks to everyone involved for making the process so smooth. We would love to return in the future. Would highly recommend.

Manor Farm was a lovely, spacious, relaxing venue for our three generational family holiday.

The beautiful grounds, tennis court and well equipped games room are a wonderful addition. We have been three times within the past 15 years and enjoyed it each time. That said, it is now showing signs of needing some TLC, and there are a few small niggly things such as basins without plugs. A slightly earlier check in of 4pm (which is the norm) would be really appreciated.

Home Farm was fantastic a beautiful house private grounds and lots to do the children loved the games room while the tennis court was really fun all having a go .

We had a gorgeous weekend at Home Farm.

The space had everything we needed to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Everywhere was clean and tidy, and all the kitchen space came in handy to store food and drink for 16 adults! We were lucky to have some amazing weather to enjoy the beautiful garden.

This was a perfect place in which to celebrate my husband’s 90th birthday and a family reunion.

The three kitchen areas with 3 fridge freezers provided plenty of space to cater for 40 guests with a buffet lunch outside in a beautiful setting. The accommodation is very flexible and enabled everyone from ages 7 to 90 to enjoy the occasion. The games room was a great hit. A wonderful place to create some very happy memories.

A great place to get all your family together.

Plenty for our grandchildren to do, they could run around freely, chase the butterflies on the lavender or just fall asleep in the very large lounge whilst watching their favourite TV programmes. What an amazing place. We had a family reunion, which included 4 children and 8 adults. The children had a wonderful time exploring and having fun. We all enjoyed the games room and outdoor area. The place is so well equipped. It was a real treat for us all to be able to sit down at the huge dining table together. We have to thank the owners for milk, bread, kitchen rolls, Tea, coffee, soap etc. Just perfect. Just one request, please could you adjust the Fire door in the scullery, at the moment it closes quite fiercely. Yes, to anyone considering this property, it is set in a quite location but not far from all the facilities you could want, so thoroughly recommend.

Great house for a family gathering , well equipped and great for all ages we were 1-92years

This was our second year staying in the cottage.

My review will probably mirror last year’s. Lovely house with gorgeous grounds. Getting a bit tired in terms of bathrooms and could definitely do with an upgrade on the water system so the pressure in showers is adequate. Also the big thing for us that I mentioned last time is the blinds. They’re basically pointless in the mornings in the spring/summer as they’re so thin and light. Having said that, everything else was great.

Home Farm is a fantastic place to stay.

There was plenty of room for our extended family of 14 adults (ranging from 72 to 21) and a 5 year old. The gardens were lovely. The 5 year old loved the swing/slide and the younger adults enjoyed the games room. With 3 sitting rooms there was plenty of space to spread out for some quiet time to read. The welcome pack was a nice touch too. Would love to stay again sometime.

Wonderful stay again in a lovely house.

It was nice to be able to take advantage of the garden in the sunny weather. Have already reserved for next Easter. Just a couple of maintenance items with 2 broken thermostatic radiator valve heads and can opener needs replacing - neither affected our stay. Looking forward to our 3rd stay.

This was a lovely place that far exceeded our expectations.

The property manager was attentive, friendly, and really helpful. There were small details that made the place special that are very often missed elsewhere. The house itself is well maintained, and has a lot of character. The surrounding area is absolutely lovely. We'll very likely look to book again in future.

We all enjoyed a great weekend here, brilliant facilities for a big group.

House and grounds are amazingly kept.

Great venue for a three-generation family weekend.

Huge, well-equipped kitchen, and three separate living rooms, so plenty of space to relax. A very generous welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits, etc. The games room and tennis court were well used. Excellent playground in Witney with equipment for toddlers up to teenagers, A few things could have been better. We would have liked to have had a map of the area (OS preferably), and some suggestions for local walks. (We found a good 3.5 mile walk from Minster Lovell to Crawley and back via Minster Lovell Hall.) The piano could do with tuning! But lovely to have it, and it was well used, too. The cold water tap in the Jack and Jill twin bedroom is extremely stiff. We’re planning to book again next year.

A wonderful huge house and garden that was perfect for our large family gathering.

The house was well equipped and the garden was fabulous for the children to play in. Just a couple of suggestions about the house. We thought the bathrooms were a little tired and in need of updating. In the large bedroom with en-suite shower shared with a twin room there was a problem with flies. We kept the curtains drawn all the time to stop them coming in the bedroom.

We had a lovely family ladies weekend the house had so much space for everyone.

Set in beautiful grounds (next time we will be back when the weather is better to enjoy the garden) The house had everything we needed and we had such a relaxing time we didn’t discover the games room till we were about to leave we had booked it so long ago we had forgotten about it. It would be a great space for families too. Lots of parking spaces as we were all coming from different parts of the country so parking and the large living room were two factors when we were booking it, although the 2 other lounges offer space for kids or quiet spaces.we are already talking about going back next year.

A great place to bring our family together to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary.

We first stayed in this house 12 years ago and had happy memories of our time there so it was an obvious choice to book for my 60th birthday celebration and it did not disappoint!

The house and gardens are beautiful and the house is spacious, very well-equipped and comfortable. The games room is a great addition since our last stay and there are plenty of games and books provided, however, we were lucky(ish) with the weather and were able to enjoy the gardens. We now need to find another reason to return!

We had a fantastic multi generational stay to celebrate a 90th birthday with plenty of space for children and adults to run and play as well as relax inside.

We would definitely recommend and when we next want a whole family gathering will certainly come back. An additional kettle would have been very useful as it as the only devise that wasn’t duplicated. We did have problems finding enough 3 pin sockets in bedrooms as most were circular and there was no mention of this on the details provided. Maybe some extension leads could be made up and provided.

What a beautiful property set in fantastic countryside.

The property has everything, plenty of lounges, spacious kitchens, great bedrooms and a fabulous games room. The house was well stocked and so clean. It had a lovely homely feel with lots of books and tastefully decorated. There was also a welcome hamper when we arrived which was a lovely touch. We have been staying in properties for the last 30 years and this is one of the best and we'll definitely be returning.

Absolutely amazing property, ideal for our family Christmas.

The microwave failed on Christmas Day, sent message to the contact email address and a replacement was delivered by the owners on the 27th, excellent service by all concerned and very much appreciated. Ample room for everyone to spread out, the games room was a bonus and very well equipped. Many thanks to all concerned, we will be returning to this beautiful house.

Home Farm is fantastic, the space was perfect for our annual Christmas get together, the separate games room was a highlight.

We had the most brilliant stay at Home Farm.

Ages ranged from 80yrs to 2yrs and everybody had a great time. So much to do and everything special. The recommendation for Pop Up food was perfect. It was very well maintained throughout and the so comfy and welcoming.

Overall Excellent all round.

Arrival time rather late, although we were notified a little earlier. No sign on the drive to Home Farm, I would suggest putting one on the entrance to the drive, as two family members passed by initially. Ideal for family holidays.

My wife and I were celebrating our Golden Wedding with our two children and spouses and seven grandchildren. Home Farm was perfect. Very spacious, extremely well equipped and very clean. The large dining room table was ideal for us all. The children loved the Games room. Elizabeth, who was our contact, was very nice and extremely helpful. I would thoroughly recommend Home Farm to anyone.

We travelled as a group from abroad and had an absolutely fantastic stay at Home Farm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Home Farm.

The facilities are excellent and the house and location are beautiful. We were staying with our children and grandchildren and the house had something for everyone. There was a Games room with a pool table and table football and there were outdoor games for the children with a large garden and tennis court. There were several televisions and a large selection of books and indoor board games. The kitchens had plenty of storage and several fridges and freezers. They were very well equipped. All the bedding was feather free, although many cushions and sofas in living rooms were down filled. We have two family members who have issues with feathers and down due to chronic asthma, but we informed the owners prior to our arrival and they kindly moved furniture around to provide a feather free lounge for them. We had no problems as a result. Most evenings after the grandchildren had gone to bed we spent playing games together around the dining room table. There are many places to visit nearby so all in all a fantastic holiday was had by everyone

We had a fantastic stay thank you very much.

Only one small thing to spoil some of the food was we had ants in the kitchens. Apart from that everything far exceeded our expectations. It was even better than it looked on the website.

Our stay at Home Farm at Easter was a wonderful experience.

On arrival we felt welcomed to an exceptionally clean and inviting home, and provisions for a drink and snack. All the rooms were of a high standard of decor and comfort. The newly refurbished kitchen was well equipped and a delight for storage and meal preparation, as well providing a smaller dining area. It was a memorable experience to sit around the large dining table with all our family to socialise and share meals. The various sitting rooms provided all the space needed for our multi generation family to enjoy themselves quietly, or join together as one large party. The newly created games room was a hit with everyone and an excellent place for wet weather fun. The grounds were beautifully maintained and provided all the space needed for outdoor games and a challenge for our Easter Egg hunt! Walks across the fields and watching the sheep and lambs were also much enjoyed, as well as visits to Ducklington village and surrounding towns. We reported a couple of minor glitches to the management team, who dealt with them immediately and this also gave us the opportunity to meet the property owner. Fiona was very interested to hear our comments and keen to hear if anything could have improved our stay. We say a very big THANK YOU to Fiona, the management team, cleaners and maintenance team for working together to provide the setting for a dream gathering. Pamela and Andrew

We booked for a 80th Birthday Weekend and were really pleased with the house.

It was large, comfortable and well equipped. The small playroom was ideal for the kids. The large living room was great for everyone to gather and the enclosed garden was ideal to let off steam. Would love to return one day.

A truly wonderful holiday 'cottage'!

A stunning house with beautiful, well-maintained gardens. Our children and grandchildren loved it all. Plenty of space and great facilities. We had one problem, the boiler cut out, but they came out, immediately, late at night to fix it.

A fabulous house for a family celebration.

The facilities were excellent, plenty to please all age groups, while the tennis court was well maintained as was the play area. The grounds were beautifully looked after. All of this in a stunning location. The only downsides were that the sofas were not comfortable, and 2 couples found the beds to be also uncomfortable. While the kitchen was very well appointed, one fridge had a door that needs attention. Unless we missed it, there was also no dustpan. Overall, a stunning house and a fabulous weekend. We would love to return.

The house & gardens were spectacular, the tennis court was a big hit with all, and the swings and slide got quite a bit of use.

The kitchen was well stocked with glasses, cutlery, dishes/plates etc and cooking pans & utensils. Great BBQ. There were however some disappointments especially considering the cost of well over £5k. The interior was quite tired and the settees in the main lounge extremely uncomfortable. Some of the main kitchen cupboards need some attention. I think the listing should state how close it is to RAF Brise Norton as some of what I assume are training flights went on till way past 10o/clock in the evening and were very noisy. I would like to thank Elisabeth for her prompt answers and welcome.

I may be prejudice but I like to sleep in a king-sized bed with my wife.

I have not done a survey but I personally would like to have had more king-sized beds as options. Most rooms were big enough for both a king-sized bed and a single in the same room for partners who want to sleep in separate beds.

Amazing property, stunningly beautiful, very comfortable, so much space in the kitchen, plus prep kitchen.

Easy to cater for 14+ The photographs do not do this house justice. Could not ask for more. The gardens are safe and secure for young children and babies, we used the tennis court, play area with slide/swings and climbing frame, the boys loved it. lots of area's to eat, and relax in the sun. own laundry room and masses of bathrooms and toilets. Only one minor problems dealt with promptly. Would love to come back again. Prompt replies to any questions, with lots of help.

What a fabulous house.

The grounds and garden are stunning. We loved our stay. The only thing I would say [any hence my feedback above on Accuracy of listing is that the photo's you have do not do the house justice! Thank you we will be booking again :-)

This place was absolutely perfect!

Fantastic for us with the small kids as it came with activities, books/movies, and plenty of space for the kiddos to run around. The kitchen was also really well set up. I'm so used to renting places that just have plates/glasses and 2 pots, but this place was actually set up for us to cook (and we're a bunch of foodies!). I definitley plan to be back!!

An outstanding property.

We all enjoyed the beautiful house and its facilities.Beds so comfortable kitchen got everything we needed . space for all to be together in the large sitting room or to sit in different rooms if we wanted.The garden was beautiful the roses just coming out the pond with the irises and the wildlife all about and of course we were so lucky with the weather

We had a lovely weekend at Home Farm and luckily the weather allowed full use of the grounds and tennis court.

We also went on two pretty walks straight from the house. There was a very generous welcome pack and the only tiny problem was that I feel that as the house is fairly expensive more tea towels could have been included. Also a second large saucepan would have made catering for a large group easier.

Wonderful accommodation.

Everything we needed to make a celebratory family holiday extra special. Children loved the outside space. Will definitely book again in the future.

The house has been lovely.

Thankfully we were able to get an earlier check in as I hadn't realised until we had booked that it was a 6pm check in. This really is a unacceptable time for to get small children fed and settled for bed and to generally organise ourselves for an evening meal - this would really prevent us from booking in the future. Its a beautiful house though, however, it has been let down by lack of basic provisions; - I was later told these should have been left but weren't. No Bin Bags No Oven Gloves No Tea Towels (fortunately I brought my own) No Dishcloths or scourers No Dishwasher tablets - one of us had to drive after supper at 10.30pmto a garage to get some Other items which would have helped would be a couple of large water jugs - as one plastic one is woefully inadequate Also there aren’t two complete sets of cutlery for starter /main course/cheese for when we all sat down for dinner There are some keys missing in the piano which need fixing. If you could ensure these problems would be addressed we would like to come on a regular basis as the other facilities and the grounds and tennis court are excellent.

As we were there for the weekend a later check out on Sunday would be preferable .

Presumably it isn’t cleaned on a Sunday unless people are coming for the next week ? Otherwise it was a great place to stay.

A wonderful property which suited our needs perfectly.

Plenty of space for our children to roam freely in the house and garden. Very well catered kitchen. Clean and comfortable bedrooms. We wanted to move in!

Excellent property for our needs as a family.

It was warm and cosy. We enjoyed using the Aga range for our Christmas cooking. Christmas decorations were very much appreciated , thank you.

We had a wonderful weeks holiday.

The house is terrific, comfy and easily accommodated 14 of us. The children [9 - 13] loved the higgledy-piggledy nature of the house, and the huge sitting room plus a couple of other quieter sitting rooms were a bonus. Fiona couldn't have been more helpful and sorted out a few minor glitches very quickly. The house stands in enormous and extensive well-cared for grounds and with lots of walks around, a tennis court, plenty of space for french cricket and all sort of games it was a brilliant retreat for us all to be together after the ghastliness of the lockdown. We would return in a heartbeat but more family members want to join us from overseas next year, so we will be a bigger group and we have limited time slots. Thank you to everyone.

The condition of the interior contents, facilities and cleanliness of furniture & bedding available to us in the Farm house was outstanding and covid-19 friendly.

It provided an excellent retreat for our family to relax for a few days after the lockdown rules were relaxed.

The house is fantastic, felt so much bigger than the pictures, had 3 living rooms, bedrooms were spacious and had sinks inside and plenty of bathrooms.

Grounds are pristine, beautiful and expansive. Fiona was really helpful and accommodating, I’ve already enquires about coming back!

This is the ideal property for a special occasion where you want to invite a large group of family and/or friends.

Plenty of room to relax in a variety of ways, both indoors and out. We had a lovely time and would certainly think about returning at some time in the future.

The farm house was lovely and we all enjoyed our stay.

We would definitely return. The house was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. It was a tiny bit cold in the large sitting room but we stayed over New Years so expected it. Our group would have preferred an extra double bed in the sleeping arrangements but all of the bedrooms were cosy and the beds very comfortable. The grounds were also lovely and the walk to the local pub was quick and easy. All in all a really lovely house and stay.

This was our third successive year of renting Home Farm, and our high expectations were met once again.

Everything about our weekend stay worked perfectly. The house is ideal for a large group such as ours, with very spacious reception rooms, a superb kitchen, and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The properly is elegantly furnished throughout, and beautifully situated, with large and peaceful gardens. The owner of the property was immediately responsive to our queries, and very warm and friendly when we met her. All in all, a wonderful stay, and we cannot recommend this property highly enough. We very much hope to return next year.

This house totally exceeded our expectations, the photos just don't do this place justice!

What a fantastic house! Perfect for our mixed group of ages, something for everyone to keep themselves entertained throughout the stay. The kids (and some of the adults) loved the playroom, and the vast grounds were perfect for a big group game of cricket! The location is perfect to see all the gorgeous Cotswold villages. The Trout pub at Tadpole Bridge comes highly recommended, a picturesque setting, great menu and perfect distance from the house to incorporate it into a family bike ride. We would definitely recommend this property, and hope to return one day.

It had everything we could ask for.

I cannot think of anything negative about this property at all.

We have been renting cottages every Easter for around 30 years and this one was one of our very favourites.

We did have amazing Easter weather but the house and location with a tennis court (we surprised ourselves by using this all the time, novices to regular players - we absolutely loved it!) were fantastic giving us a near perfect holiday. The house was clean, comfortable and very well equipped (e.g. there is an extra fridge with ice machine) giving our 3 generation group plenty of space to separate but with large rooms in which to come together. We also had the beautiful gardens with plenty of terraces and seating for everyone. We were able to BBQ and comfortably eat outside (wonderful hamper with home made cakes left for us by Fiona, the owner) We had a wonderful holiday. We do hope to return.

What an incredible house.

My family and I were thrilled to stay at the house, the children particularly loved the playroom and outdoor play area. The hosts were fantastic and were always on hand to answer any questions we had. They even baked us two delicious welcome cakes along with a selection of jams, butter etc. We would highly recommend this rental.

Fantastically well equipped house.

Comfortably fitted all 11 adults and 5 children. So much living space and having 2 kitchens and 2 dishwashers was so useful. All the bedrooms were nice so noone felt like they drew the short straw. All in all would highly recommend for a large gathering. Only constructive feedback would be to get some more sharp kitchen knives!

Great accommodation for large family celebration from across the country, being central.

Excellent facilities, well equipped for everything. Good local information from leaflets, maybe we did not find it but a folder with a bit of the history of the house, and some local footpaths would have been appreciated.

Home Farm was perfect.

We used it as a base for my family over the weekend of my wedding. The house had plenty of space for everyone and Fiona was incredibly accommodating.

Home Farm was ideal for our family weekend with differing grandchildrens' ages.

the tennis court was well used even in late October and because the floors were so warm we all decided to have a 'no shoes' policy in the beautiful house.The property faces South and gets all the sun there is to have in the winter months. perfect. sad to leave the dogs at home but fully understandable.

The house was perfect for our grandchildren.

They loved the games room and ran round the house playing hide and seek. Our family fitted well into the house. We loved watching the sheep and walking in the garden and played tennis. The large sitting room was great with super views from each window and window seats with curtains that children could hide behind!

Weather was much better than expected!

House, garden and welcome were excellent. Fiona had baked us 3 cakes and left other provisions. She went out of her way to assist us - came back with a spare pair of binoculars for me. Lovely part of the country.

The cottage was really well equipped and there were lots of thoughtful touches including home made cakes, tea ad coffee provided etc.

Both the cottage and garden were very beautiful

The cottage was ideal for our family get together.

It was spacious, well equipped and very clean. The grounds were outstanding. We spent most of the weekend outside, eating, chatting, relaxing, using the tennis court and walking. The children loved being able to be outside in a safe environment. Mrs Meleleu, May 2017.

The accommodation was just right for our needs - lots of space, comfortable large lounge with room for family board games, the 2 small lounges gave space for quieter areas and room for children to play.

Grounds perfect for children and the tennis court is a \ winner with our extended family.\

Perfect house in every way,with plenty of room outside for garden activities, tennis, croquet, rounders ,sitting in the sun!

the house was very good.

The only issue we had was the limited number of double bed as most room are 2 single beds. The pressure in the shower of one of the bathroom was very low.
