Great area for walking and exploring.

Bus from picturesque Painswick town centre to Stroud and Cheltenham. Accomodation was very comfortable and spotless with everything you need and lovely views from the upstairs living area. Ted.... Farmer Dan's dog was a great host and kept us busy playing fetch with his toy Would definitely recommend this property and hopefully we will return.

Just returned from a lovely 2 night stay at this property.

Perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. Property clean and had everything we needed. The owner was super friendly and welcoming. We’d definitely book again if in the area.

Very clean and looked after, amazing veiw from upstairs window and yes a short walk into Painswick Everything you could possibly need provided, Dan and Steph on hand if needed but did not intrude Ted the dog.

..., he watches a lot of TV, he's very robust in his activities, most of the time not a problem, but if he has his rubber bone can be a bit of a nuisance playing fetch Overall excellent, and will revisit again

Amazing cottage set in beautiful surroundings.

Steph & Dan were very friendly and the cottage contained everything we required. Ideally situated for exploring the Cotswolds. We will be back.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped cottage.

Easy walk into Painswick where you have a local shop and a good pub (The Oaks). Only a short car ride to Stroud where you will find everything you need. Hosts were helpful and friendly, and not forgetting Ted the dog

The accommodation is comfortable and well appointed. It was quite novel going down to bed. The views from the first floor are very good. The property is well placed for visiting a number of interesting places. The Saturday farmer’s market in Stroud is certainly worth a visit.

A lovely place and Dan and Steph were very friendly. Ted the dog loved to play and the village itself was beautiful with the best kept church yard in the UK. Beautiful surroundings.

Warm, comfortable accommodation, good location on the edge of the village.

Right next to the A46, but the traffic was not a distraction. The Oak in the centre of the village had nice food but you cannot book. Good coffees in the Art Centre and you can walk to the Painswick Rococo Gardens which are well worth a visit. Cotswold Way goes through Painswick so good location for walking.

This was really a lovely place to stay.

Incredibly comfortable with good attention to your needs such as well stocked kitchen incredible long and comfy sofa and just nice decor. No silly 'home is where the heart is' type slogans you see in so many airbnbs. The bedroom and bathroom were both large and good storage space is you need it. The lounge and kitchen are upstairs which means you get a great view across the valley and farm (as per the name). The owner lives next door and is very friendly but is also discrete as well so you feel incredibly welcome and can come and go as you please with plenty of parking shared with their other let. The house is a short walk into the very pretty town with pubs and cafes and walks up the beacon and around. We have stayed in lots of small holiday cottages over the years and this is one of the best. Highly recommended.
