Boasting a characterful interior and welcoming nine guests in four thoughtfully furnished bedrooms, Ivy Cottage is the perfect retreat for families or friends looking to explore Wiltshire’s countryside with two of their beloved pooches.

Your relaxing getaway begins when you park in the designated off-road spaces and enter your new home-away-from-home.

A spacious sitting room, complete with plush sofas and a crackling wood-burning stove, greets you; the perfect place to unwind after a full day of tranquil countryside walks.

Later, step into the kitchen/diner, which is equipped with everything you might need during your stay; cook up a storm here and gather the family around the large dining table to enjoy your culinary delights.

If the sun is shining, head outside to the private patio, where you can fire up the barbecue and indulge in some alfresco dining.

Be sure to raise a glass to your getaway as the stars begin to fill the sky overhead.

When the sky darkens, head back inside and freshen up in either the family bathroom or the shower room before going upstairs to the first floor to choose between three bedrooms: a king-size, a double, and another double that can be made into twin beds on request.

The village of Colerne is situated in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in west Wiltshire, close to both Chippenham and Bath.
