"Great place, lovely and quiet and comfortable."

Had all the essentials we needed for our 3 night stay and a lovely welcome package too. Beds and duvets/pillows were really comfortable which was a welcome bonus (not the usual firm pillows). Location was perfect for us to explore the area. Would happily come again.

"The Barn at Daubeneys is lovely."

On arrival we were greeted by the owners Louise and Jim who were very welcoming and the barn was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. It’s in a very peaceful location and the local shop and Post Office were well stocked for emergency supplies. We used both pubs but only sat in the garden taking advantage of the nice weather. The pop up catering van ‘Only Fools and Morsels’ at the Six Bells is definitely worth trying, the food is delicious. We didn’t venture out far as we wanted a week of pure relaxation and that’s exactly what we got, we just did some nice local walks taking in the beautiful scenery.

Thank you so much Wendy for taking the time to write this review. We are so glad you had the relaxing holiday you needed in The Barn and that the village shops, pubs and local countryside provided everything you needed. Thank you, Louise & Jim Property Owner
