• "The property in itself was so lovely and decorated to a beautiful modern standard."

  The communication with the host was excellent and lots of information was provided on local amenities and details about the property. We did however feel the property was a little unclean, cobwebs, quite a bit of dust and dirty crockery and glasses in the cupboards, which I imagine was from previous guests. The mattresses were also quite uncomfortable and not firm at all. Overall the stay was wonderful and we would 100% be back!

• "This is a lovely place."

  Well decorated clean and tidy. The layout is good and facilities excellent. I enjoyed the walks around the estate and everyone we met were helpful and friendly A couple of addition’s would be worthwhile A kettle Larger towels

Sorry to hear you did not find the kettle, there is a 'hot tap' suitable for tea and coffee, however for those that prefer a kettle. It's kept in the cupboard below the microwave. • "Overall the property was great."

  Great size, great looking large kitchen with everything you need if self catering. Courtyard space was lovely albeit with limited seating. Everywhere was decorated and looked of a high standard and quality. With one exception.... For me what let it down was the quality of mattress in all the bedrooms. All of us ended up with terrible backache. There was just no support. The mattresses felt cheap. It would have been useful to have more details about where the dog could go for a quick walk. The road leading to the premises has no footpath and cars speed past. There is a dog walking field on the farm but this information wasn't readily available and would have been great to have this in the welcome pack/email. Recycling is also a bit haphazard with only facilities for metal cans/tins. We are used to being able to recycle everything (paper, cardboard, plastics and I hate to through this in general waste)

We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t find the mattresses comfortable. We completely appreciate that mattress preference is very personal, and while we regularly receive positive feedback from guests regarding the comfort of the beds, we understand that they won’t necessarily suit everyone. For reassurance, the mattresses are good-quality, premium models rather than budget mattresses. However, we will certainly take your comments on board and consider making mattress toppers available as an additional option for guests in the future. With regard to dog walking, we’re sorry that you felt there wasn’t enough information available. The property is situated approximately 30 meters from the road and secured by substantial electric gates to ensure the safety for all pets visiting us. The property is set within 30 acres of farmland, with several designated areas available for guests to exercise their dogs. Details of these areas are included within the welcome information sent to all guests by WhatsApp or text message prior to arrival. That said, we appreciate your feedback and will look at making this information even more prominent and easier to find. Thank you also for your comments regarding recycling. Our current welcome WhatsApp message asks guests to place their recycling into the bags provided and leave these outside the front of the property, where they are collected daily and recycled on site. We appreciate that this could be explained more clearly, and we will update our welcome information to make the process and arrangements more explicit. • "5⭐ property."

  Spotlessly clean. Luxury. Very comfortable and very well equipped with all you need for your stay. We were a party of 6 adults with a small well behaved pooch and there was lots of room. Very quick response from property owners with any queries or questions!!. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return. Beautiful area to explore. Also the property is very secure with electric gates to the front. Well done all !!!

• "Immaculate and lovely cottage."

  Immediate response to queries. No garden as such, but a very pleasant little back yard with a water feature which is perfect to hang out in on a hot day. Can’t go wrong here.

• "We had a fantastic two-night stay at The Sty and couldn't have been happier."

  The property is absolutely beautiful—spacious, tastefully decorated, and finished to a very high standard. It had everything we needed and immediately felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the private courtyard garden, which was peaceful, secluded, and the perfect place to relax after a day exploring. The location is ideal too, just a short distance from the Cotswold Lakes with countless scenic walks and activities right on the doorstep. If you're looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and tranquil place to stay in the Cotswolds, The Sty is hard to beat. We wouldn't hesitate to return and would highly recommend it to anyone.

• "The Sty was perfect for our weekend break."

  We planned on visiting Rodmarton Manor and Avebury, each were easily accessible from Minety. We found the owner very helpful. The place was well equipped and clean.

• "This is an amazing property that allows dogs, the spec is very high and reasonably priced."

  This was our second stay this year and would happily return again. There is an enclosed courtyard outside with a fire / barbecue built in with seating too which we also enjoyed. There are walks within the premises with additional glamping, new shepherd huts being built in lovely surroundings, it’s a wonderful area and the hosts are very friendly without being intrusive, can’t recommend enough!! Very rare for me to put such a lengthy review

• "A beautiful property."

  Well furnished and tastefully decorated. Good communication from owners. We felt however, the property lacked homely touches. When you are paying this sort of price I feel a welcome pack of some description should be provided to enhance the stay. In most properties we stay in, we usually find an information folder, milk, biscuits, wine etc. Small touches make a difference. We also couldn't get on with the boiling water tap and ended up boiling water in a saucepan on the hob! Very annoying.

  We don’t get to spend much time as a family. And this is definitely what we needed. Beautiful location, beautiful home absolutely loved the decor. • "Beautiful rural accommodation in the Cotswolds that we stayed in over the New Year period."

  The owner Karl was very helpful with a few minor niggles dealt with immediately and he was very welcoming. The property was warm, comfortable and a fabulous layout for us to eat, drink & socialise. It met our expectations and the needs of our 2 cocker spaniels. Ample parking available and we had 3 cars. Advise to use What 3 Words to find location as we drove past the entrance on numerous occasions. We had a great time, thank you. We would love to come back and stay here.

• "A beautifully appointed property with every care taken to provide that rare holiday experience I’ve found lacking so many times previously of over delivering in decor, presentation and quality."

  This was without doubt most likely the best pound for pound holiday rental I’ve ever made in over 40 years for my family. Each space is so well appointed and supplied. The kitchen, dining and living areas contemporary and stylish. We will return.

• "What a fantastic property!"
