  • “Lovely cottage”

The owners have thought of everything to ensure you have a relaxing stay. It is a great base to visit many beautiful locations in this part of England. A cosy cottage to unwind after a busy day exploring

Positioned under the charming North Hill, found at the northerly end of the Malvern Hills is this detached abode, Eleri Cottage.

This charming cottage is perfect for friends and families alike, seeking to explore the designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, littered with a plethora of things to see and do.

Admire your picturesque surroundings before entering into the property into the spacious utility, perfect for kicking off muddy walking shoes and easily washing your clothes before you explore the rest of this characterful cottage.

From here, you will find the well-equipped kitchen, where the sleek units and the good range of appliances invite you in to prepare home-cooked meals.

Delight in your delicious meal upon the formal dining table before selecting a DVD to watch as you sink into the plush sofa.

If you fancy an hour or so away from the rest of the group, the light-filled snug offers a tranquil retreat in which to enjoy a good book or to admire the garden.

As the evening draws to a close, make your way upstairs to find three bedrooms, designed to offer a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit the needs of any party make up.

Here, you will find a king-size bedroom, a bunk bedroom with a double bed and single over, and a twin bedroom, together sleeping a maximum of seven people and served by a ground-floor bathroom and a shower room.

During a balmy afternoon, venture into the garden and light up the barbecue as your canine companions stretch their legs and you look forward to a spot of alfresco dining.

Immerse yourself in your surroundings by taking a stroll into the centre of Malvern, which was originally a spa village with therapeutic qualities attributed to its springs.

Today, the town is an impressive shopping destination, boasting bookshops, antique auctions, high street fashion stores and shops for picking up food, accompanied by a range of pubs and eateries.

Within the town, you will find a plethora of things to do, including the Malvern Theatre Complex, which overlooks Priory Park, St Ann’s Well, the Abbey Gateway, which is home to Malvern’s museum or take a tour around some of Malvern’s finest parts by following the Elgar Route.

About the location

MALVERN

Ledbury 7 miles; Worcester 10 miles; Hereford 23 miles.

Malvern is an excellent centre for both long and short holidays. Its unique history, dramatic countryside and close proximity to numerous places of interest offer plenty for all visitors to discover. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Malvern Hills form a 9-mile range of ancient rock, which offers 100 miles of footpaths and bridleways with natural springs and spectacular views in all directions. Other outdoor activities available include high ropes, climbing and abseiling and fishing and river cruises are available nearby. A number of National Trust properties, gardens and vineyards are within easy reach. Malvern has many individual shops, cafes, art galleries and restaurants and a luxurious spa. Great Malvern dates back to the Bronze Age and is situated on the eastern side of the dramatic Malvern Hills. The town holds antique and craft fairs, farmers’ markets and many auctions throughout the year, as well as the Great Malvern Food Festival in June. Malvern Theatres has an extensive programme throughout the year including productions from the West End and the Royal Shakespeare Company, musicals, and dance, to world-renowned musicians and orchestras; the associated cinema screens new releases. In June Ledbury hosts an annual Poetry Festival. For the motor enthusiast the Morgan Motor Company is within walking distance of the cottage and, on the hills, Eastnor Castle’s summer events programme includes the Land Rover Experience. It is just a short drive to the Three Counties Showground which hosts regular events – most notably RHS Malvern (May), The Royal Three Counties Show (June) and the Malvern Autumn Show (September). Worcester, one of the Three Choirs Festival cities, is within easy driving distance as are Tewkesbury, Hereford and the Wye valley. Easy access to the M5 and M50 motorways brings other places within reach such as Gloucester with its historic dockyard, Monmouth and the Forest of Dean, and Cheltenham and its festivals.
