  • "We had a wonderful couple of days at The Leat over Easter."

It was well positioned for days out and an idyllic spot to unwind. The setting, looking over the pond, was wonderful. We enjoyed the wildlife and got a visit from the very friendly dogs. (They’re the other side of the fence if you’re not a dog person.) Just what we needed. The interior finish was high quality, it was clean and well appointed. We’d definitely return.

  • "The Leat exceeded our expectations."

The view from the lounge over the mill pond is lovely. We saw a buzzard, ducks, moorhens, a pair of Canada geese and a heron, not to mention plenty of small birds including a grey wagtail. There were feeders to encourage the birds. Lovely to sit on the deck and listen to the birdsong. The accomodation was thoughtfully laid out and the fittings high quality. We loved the comfortable beds and the large showers!

We had great entertainment when the moorhen and the squirrel had a quarrel ! The Leat is furnished to a very high standard, and extremely comfortable. Beds are great too. Thank you Natalie for a great stay. Pamela and Lesley.

What super feedback! We are really pleased the Garden Show at the Pond, entertaining and a delight! They do put on a good show don’t they! More importantly, I’m very pleased you found our accommodation to be very comfortable too. Thank you for your feedback and for visiting Mill Pond Barns, Natalie. Property Owner

Lovely welcome pack was a nice touch. Would highly recommend. In fact, so much so, that we've booked to stay again...

  • "We have just returned from a short break staying in The Leat cottage."

The cottage was beautifully built with all of the modern facilities in a lovely location. 10/10 for us although the only two things we would change is softer pillows and some sort of sound proofing as we could hear the people next door very clearly. We would certainly visit the cottage again and I hope there is plans for a hot tub, plenty of room on the decking ;).

Thank you for your feedback, i am soon to close, to have acoustic sound proofing popped into the Barns, together with more insulation into the roof space, this will hopefully help! Pillows have been replaced too ! Property Owner

  • "A tranquil setting for this modern, superbly equipped accomodation."

The beds were very comfortable and the cotton bedding made for a great night's sleep. The views of the millpond gave constant entertainment, the birds, ducks and the heron make a natural show ! As there is an identical property adjoining there are occasionally "noises off" as you would expect but nothing too obtrusive. There was enough in the way of restaurants , pubs and towns within a few miles drive through the Worcestershire country side to fill our days. If you are wanting a quiet and peaceful time in a beautiful part of the English country side the Leat is perfect.

Thank you for your feedback and we are thrilled you enjoyed your tranquil stay. We are installing some sound proofing to ensure guests have a more peaceful stay with us at Mill Pond Barns. Natalie Property Owner

It was very clean and had everything we needed. It is in a beautiful spot overlooking the pond, and the children loved seeing the ducks, sheep and dogs! A good location for exploring various local towns.

  • "Property needs lighter bedding for summer months, only a 10."

5 tog winter duvet was provided, which was far too hot for August. Was unclear if residents were able to use outdoor space adjacent to pond, if so would be useful if that area was mown. Great property otherwise, lovely quiet area.

Thank you for your comments, The field adjacent to the property is private and isn't mown in the summer months, as we have created a natural wildlife habitat next to our pond. I will also investigate lighter bedding, Sykes steered us into only having one set of 10.5 tog, but maybe it needs addressing if you were too hot. Thankyou for your feedback, it's much appreciated. • "We had a very enjoyable stay and the owner, Natalie, was very helpful on arrival when we had a problem connecting to the WiFi."

The Leat was clean, modern and well equipped. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and much appreciated, thank you. The bedding was lovely and gave the beds a hotel feel! The Leat was listed as pet free but my husband experienced an allergic reaction as if there had been pets/pet owners in the property. We also noticed that the adjoining property had 2 dogs staying despite also being listed as pet free. The King bedroom was adjoined to the the other property. Unfortunately for us, our neighbours enjoyed a 6:30/7:00am start each morning and we could hear their voices and movements which was unfortunate as the Leat is in a beautiful remote location and we hoped for a little more peace in the mornings.

Thank you for your feedback. Pleased that you enjoyed your time at The Leat. The properties are pet free. The booking in the neighbouring property was family staying prior to be opened up for guests to book. The adjoining door in the King Room connects to the twin room in the same dwelling. Thank you again for your feedback and hopefully we will welcome you back again soon. Property Owner

The lodge was overlooking the mill pond. Everything was absolutey beautiful, well equiped to the highest standard. The added touch of milk, bread, butter and jam were a very welcoming touch to start our break here. Fantastic facilities I.e. Netflix, film channels,en-suite bedrooms, in fact everything you could possibly need. Nice view when you looked out on a morning. The owners were in the big house next door but they never bothered us unless you needed them. All in all I couldn’t fault the place.
