Nigel (and his Mom) go above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The cosy lodge is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and has everything you need for an “away from it all” stay. The extra little touches, like fresh flowers and surprise treats in the fridge are what makes it stand out from the crowd. Our dog loved the freedom of the wild meadow, although, sadly, the heatwave meant she could only enjoy it during cooler hours. Lots of lovely walks on the doorstep and Pershore town is a great place to explore. We would definitely recommend and hope to return to experience the area in a different season.

Thank you for such a lovely review. It is pleasing to know our efforts are appreciated. I do hope you get chance to return soon and your dog can further his explorations locally ! With kindest of regards . Property Owner

Nigel had very thoughtfully given us a hamper with milk, cereal, bread, orange juice and we were very grateful for it. Nothing was too much trouble for Nigel, he was there to welcome us and said if we needed anything, to just let him know. He was great at knowledge of the local area too. In a large field by itself, it has a great view of the Malvern hills. You do need appropriate shoes to get from you car to the property (no stilettos ha ha), it is about 50 yards across a field. We stayed for 3 nights beg’ march ‘24, it was cold and raining, but the place was lovely and warm. It has been decorated and equipped very thoughtfully and we wanted for nothing. The personalised greeting on a sign when we arrived, the hamper of essentials and strawberries, cream, jam and scones In the fridge were a personal and thoughtful gift. Nigel and his mum are the perfect hosts and so friendly. Nigel is also a wealth of information on the local area and can suggest plenty of country walks with the dog. We stayed for 3 nights, but we came away so relaxed it felt like longer. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and we will certainly be back (when it stops raining). • "Malvern View Lodge delivers fully on the promise of its name - the view is spectacular!"

The lodge itself provides comfortable, well-equipped and spotlessly clean accommodation for a couple and (for dog owners like us) an utterly brilliant setting for your four-legged friend. Our little dog would have stayed forever, I have no doubt. We stayed three nights over the new year and even some of the wettest weather on record did not dampen our liking for the lodge, the village of Wadborough and, more generally, some of the most beautiful countryside in England. Special note should be made of Nigel, our host, one of the most warm, welcoming and helpful of any we have rented accommodation from. The hamper left for us was a particularly nice touch. Special mention should also be made of the village pub, the Mason’s Arms, where again we were made very welcome. The beer was great! I would unhesitatingly recommend Malvern View Lodge to anyone looking for a tranquil stay in the English countryside. We intend to visit again in the spring or early summer. What better recommendation could there be than that?!

Thank you for all your kind words here … I am so pleased all went well given our ‘typical’ British climate. I do hope you can make it back later this year to see how the seasons change the views . I will pass on your kind words to . All good wishes Nigel Property Owner

My dog loved being able to have freedom in the field and Nigel, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. He was always contactable and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Nigel and his wonderful mother could not do enough. As soon as we arrived a personal welcome via a beautifully positioned bike with a basket of treats was waiting for us at the entrance. Nigel greeted us and couldn't be more friendly and my dog Doug The Pug was immediately made a fuss of by Nigel. The accommodation is sublime and located in a beautiful field. Immaculate inside and sooooooo cosy. It had everything we needed for our stay. Nigel gave us a some history of how this came to be and you can really see his passion in the lodge itself. Oh and it has an eco friendly sanitary system too. If that isn't enough Nigel's mum made us home made scones with fresh strawberries and clotted cream and Nigel booked us into a dog friendly pub for a beautiful Sunday lunch. Beautiful walks and lots of nature all around ... my friend Michelle and I did not want to leave. Apologies to Nigel for having taken so long to write this but bravo on such an outstanding lodge and your attentive hosting. Michelle, Doug and I can't thank you enough :)

With a pub within walking distance if you wished to go out for the night, lovely village pub with a nice menu and Nigel was even nice enough to ring ahead and book a table for us. Definitely recommend and will be back if we are travelling this way again!

The accommodation is very high quality, spotlessly clean, and left nothing to be desired. Nigel was very friendly and made us feel welcomed from the second we stepped out of the car. Plenty of lovely walks near the location to fill the days, and a great outdoor area with a fire pit to sit and watch the sun sets. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get away. Would absolutely love to come back!

I’m so pleased to know you both had a good relaxing time ….. I know you ‘took on’ the ‘Challenge’ of walking to the top of The Beacon Hill ….days before it formed part of The UK Beacons of Light for the Qyeens Jubilee. • "We absolutely loved our stay at Malvern View Lodge, the peace and quiet was very relaxing."

Walking our dog from the property was excellent due to the many footpaths. She also loved running in the grounds using her nose to sniff out pheasants and rabbits or playing ball. It is perfect for anyone with a dog. Obviously we knew it was going to be compact so that wasn’t a problem we utilised the space to our needs. A couple of things would make it better, most ladies would like a mirror near a plug so perhaps a mirror above the plug in the bedroom would be useful. I got round it by using the extension lead but that does mean we couldn’t have the radiator on in the bedroom (not that we needed it as the weather was superb for our stay). So either a mirror near a plug or a spare extension lead would be helpful. I also found the mattress a bit soft; and would prefer a firmer one as my back was aching by the end of the week. Saying that, we would definitely go back again. Written by Sharon Russell not Michael

I am glad all went well with the bonus of meeting a 'famous pop star' in the local town ! Having seen Michaels photos of the Deer & the carpet of Bluebell flowers I think there is an opportunity of a new career perhaps ?...I've even taken you advice to visit Pershore Abbey to see The Peregrine Falcon that is currently in residence. Your idea of a bedroom mirror is a good one & will be acted upon. I look forward to seeing you after August perhaps ...Thank you. Nigel Property Owner

On arrival the owner/host met us with a lovely hand picked food parcel to start us off which also included doggy treats for Fern. The property was exceptionally clean and very well presented and warm. He talked us through everything and also was very knowledgeable in the local and surrounding areas for dog walks etc.he also contacted Morgan cars and supplied me information in regards how to book for the factory trip which was a fantastic experience and only 20 mins away. We also visited the British motor car museum too which was only 38ml away. All in all I cannot express how great this break was for us and Nigel is a genuine true gentleman and I can honestly say I would highly recommend his property to my friends and associates in the future. All the best Nigel & we hope to see you again in the near future

Thank you for your kind words and I am so pleased you enjoyed yourselves. You certainly seemed to pack in so many tours & visits locally. More impressive was how far you actually walked. Well we had a most excellent, sunny, relaxing Spring break in these gorgeously decorated ‘shipping containers’ (you wouldn’t know they were containers). There’s loads of outdoor space a lovely decked area to sit and admire the view of the sun setting over the Malvern Hills. There is currently no other lodge on the site so, you have the whole area to yourself which makes it very peaceful and quiet. The owners are friendly and made us feel very welcome with some lovely goodies given to us on our arrival. All in all a very pleasant place to stay, we will be back again

Matt & Mel ....I was very pleased to see and read your review here. On arrival we were greeted by owner, Nigel, who had placed a beautiful antique bicycle at the entrance to the field with a personalised welcome message, which was a wonderful personalised touch. We were also presented with a basket full of delicious delights. The lodge itself is perfectly located to allow for complete privacy, peace and relaxation, overlooking the spectacular Malvern Hills. We especially loved the fire pit which made us feel nice and toasty on the cool autumn evenings, listening to the owls in the nearby woods. Inside the lodge is everything you need and nothing that you do not to enable a relaxing, comfortable stay. It was immaculately clean inside and outside, too. I took advantage of the offer of an art class with local artist, Penny, as arranged by Nigel. This was great fun! There is lots to see and do nearby, with Croome Court a must. The village of Wadborough is located very near to the M5 making Malvern View Lodge the perfect place whether you want a rural getaway or time to enjoy the cities of Worcester or Birmingham. I could not fault this experience at all. Lots of space for the dogs to enjoy and very safe. We can't wait to return again soon.
