A lovely cottage, everything you need to hand.

Slight issue when we first arrived, but we called the owners, they arrived 2 minutes later and sorted the issue with a smile and a friendly chat. It was lovely to arrive and find a few things on hand for us such as 12 free range eggs, cookies, 2 pints of milk in the fridge so we could have a hot drink and a biscuit on arrival without having to rush out and find a shop. The local pubs were friendly and served excellent food.

Lovely cosy stay at Owl Barn.

Really clean and comfortable, home from home. However the flies were a big issue, appreciate its near fields but they were EVERYWHERE. Maggots in the wheelie bins and something was clearly attracting them. They were all over food when we were cooking and it really did spoil some of our stay. Other than that it was a lovely, chilled place theat I would recommend. We left some fly spray and there is a fly squatter but I would recommend some sticky fly traps if it’s a reoccurring issue. Hot tub was lovely and spacious. Garden area nice and peaceful with beautiful views. Overall lovely place.

Clean and tidy, everything you needed and a beautiful setting.

Absolutely brilliant stay at Owl Barn , this was our second visit with family.

Where do I start? The location is great for exploring the surrounding area , the barn itself is amazing with everything you need for a wonderful week’s holiday. The added bonus is the hot tub although we didn’t use it a lot due to the soaring temperatures. Our border collie loved it too in the enclosed garden. I would highly recommend Owl Barn for a relaxing get away from everything holiday in beautiful Hereford

We had a lovely stay and Owl barn provided exactly what we expected.

The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs. We were also allowed to give them a free run in a huge enclosed 30acre field behind the wood. Spectacular views at the top of the hill! The hot water did go cold in the downstairs tap and the heating did not come on even on adjusting the thermostat. We were warm enough though as it was good weather and the showers were hot. Would return. It is a lovely spot.

A very enjoyable stay, property had all the amenities and equipment needed. Nice garden and hot tub was fabulous. Lounge was very comfortable and had a big TV.

Very nice peaceful property.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Only cons needed more cookware for a 7 person property. We struggled a couple of times as only 1 frying pan. Also states the hot tub will be emptied at 10pm on the last night of ypur stay. However no one came so we missed out on using it the last night we was there which was disappointing

Comfortable,well equipped, hot tub was big attraction, play area nearby.

Only negative was the access roads around the area. Narrow and potholed. Made travel difficult. Surrounding area had a lot to offer.

Stunning location, peaceful and quiet. Accomodation was spacious, comfortable, very well equipt and homely. Would highly recommend. Local pub a nice walk and friendly and welcoming with nice garden out the back. Beautiful views. Hot tub an added bonus.

Lovely 2 night stay.

Very comfortable home . Really enjoyed the hot tub and views across the countryside. Appreciated the thoughtful touches of Christmas tree and decorations as well as the welcome pack of food. Thank you. Was my second visit and will likely return again.

A very clean and comfortable cottage in a lovely setting.

Very well equipped with everything we needed. As dog owners we appreciated the enclosed garden which our dog loved. The hot tub was a real bonus. We would recommend this property.

Lovely accommodation, we had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday.

Loved using the hot tub after a long days walking. And there's even an air fryer. The Barn is ideally located for exploring the local area. Would highly recommend.

Owl Barn is situated in open countryside on the edge of a group of farm houses and buildings just off a quiet country lane.

There is space for several cars to park next to the barn. Our grandchildren enjoyed playing in the gated field next to the barn which has several swings and a slide. Please note that the slide and attached swings are not as safe as they look and children do need supervision at all times. There is an amazing fish pond and our grandchildren enjoyed watching and feeding the fish. We were here for a family reunion and the back garden had plenty of space for our guests to relax on deck chairs, or sit at tables with a parasol to shade us from the hot sun. The hot tub was used all week and is very simple to operate. Our granddaughter loved watching the horses in their stable over the fence. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. This is a very family friendly place and we thoroughly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the welcome pack was excellent, the kitchen was well equipped with everything and spacious, the beds clean and comfortable.

The hottuub was great and used everyday. The park was an added bonus for the grandkids. We visited the local areas just a short drive away. The local pub the Butchers arms was very friendly and the food was amazing. My only moan was the radiators needed a lick of paint as most were rusty and the upstairs shower could be better as it wasn't very powerful. But overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend especially for families with children.

Perfect property and setting for a peaceful time away. Beautiful position in a perfect rural setting. Plenty of places to eat out and close to amenities.

We had a lovely stay with friends.

We really enjoyed the cottage and the local area. Unfortunately the hot tub water wasn’t as clean as you’d expect but this could be weather/no one staying for a while related. Or an off balance of chemicals, we weren’t too sure. Otherwise a lovely place.

Absolutely lovely cottage.

We spent a very chilled out weekend with close friends for my husband’s 50th. Thank you for the lovely, clean, well equipped cottage, we enjoyed it immensely.

Can’t fault the host or the accommodation it was perfect and the host had all the essentials we needed for our stay.

Only down side was how far was was from any sort of entertainment nothing was within walking distance just miles of narrow lanes with plenty of pothole

I had one of the best holidays of my life there.

Everything was perfect. We needed a bit of help with a small issue and asked the neighbors, and they treated us like they’d known us for years—so friendly and welcoming. We had a young child with us, and although we brought toys for them, we were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of games and entertainment options for all ages. From a one-year-old to a sixty-year-old, there was something for everyone to enjoy!

Very much appreciated welcome flowers and provisions. Such a nice touch. Thank you. The hot tub was amazing always warm and with beautiful views of the countryside.

Everything about our stay was lovely.

Lovely place, great location, really quiet, well equipped, only gripes, DVD player didn't work, reported it but Phil didn't have a replacement, guess this will soon be sorted.

The taps in the bathroom need looking at, extremely difficult to turn off especially the hot and impossible with wet hands. New washers I think.

We had the best week at Owl Cottage, from the minute we arrived and noticed how we had some essentials (milk, bread etc) and a lovely bunch of flowers left for us.

The beds were extremely comfortable and the house well stocked with everything we could need. It was clean and welcoming and an excellent, quiet location with lots to do and excellent dog walking spot at Haugh Wood. We’ve had such a wonderful week, would highly recommend, thank you to the owners.

Everything was catered for, when we arrived there was tea, coffee etc along with other essential food stuffs.

The beds were comfy and the location wonderful. We spotted many different birds and even some deer. The hot tub was unbelievable. There was so much to do without leaving the property. And Hereford was a lot bigger than we thought. We are looking into another holiday soon.

Lovely place, on arrival at owl cottage we had flowers,bread,milk,butter, jams and biscuits,such a lovely touch, needs a little tlc, ie cobwebs, hottub solar lights need replacing,just things that get forgotten.

..regardless of that,this place as everything you need,I intend to return later in year as its such a relaxing,tranquil place

Amazing find, especially as a first-time user of Sykes!

This accommodation has everything you need and A LOT more! In fact, it would be worth updating the facilities list so as to avoid doubling up on things like cleaning products, cooking basics, even dog bowls! Not forgetting the filter coffee machine and air fryer!!! The place was clean and spacious enough for 5 plus dog through 4 days of rubbish weather. We made use of the jigsaws and cosy lounge while the teenager made use of the strong Wifi signal! Then the patio came into its own once the rain stopped and the sun came out... the hot-tub was a bonus came rain or shine! The beds were really comfy (with extra blankets provided if you like, of course) and add in the fresh air, we slept like logs. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful with plenty of nature and a fine country pub in easy walking distance (Butchers Arms). Plus we were a short drive from towns like Ledbury for a spot of culture & charm, retail therapy and, of course, a coffee/cake! Highly recommend...although only tell a few friends so we can keep this little gem to ourselves!
