"A very well situated property for exploring the Antrim Coast and Glens."The property was very well equipped with good instructions for the appliances. Claire was very helpful, especially with advice on places to visit. She also said to help ourselves to some apples from the trees, which we did, and very good they were too. It was also good to talk to her son Tom who took us to see two newly born calves down in the farm buildings. We had good fun watching Bailey the dog retrieving Tom's golf balls! Just a couple of things to consider - care was needed in the upstairs rooms because of the low ceiling height at one end of each bedroom and the stairs could be a little tricky for anyone with mobility problems. Not sure how six adults would manage given just one toilet and shower and the bunk beds downstairs. That said, it was fine for the two of us and we really enjoyed our stay.

"My wife and I spent a week at Narrow Gauge Cottage and found it to be a superb location for exploring the Causeway Coast area of County Antrim."The cottage is located on a working farm, just off of a country lane, and has all the facilities that anyone self catering could realistically need (including a dish washer). The interior is finished to a high modern, open plan, standard. Having arrived just as the summer ended we were thankful that the heating was effective and had been put on before we arrived. The owners live next door so are close on hand should you need them and are friendly and attentive. Communication prior to arrival was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the only regret was that we had only booked one week there.

"Lovely location - perfect location for exploring the area and coastal route."Peaceful farm setting, with the wonderfully trained Bailey the sheepdog who comes to visit (in a very respectful and controlled manner!!). Everything you need in the nicely decorated cottage. Warm, welcoming and perfect for a few days away. Host and family were wonderfully warm and helpful, (including a late night visit to deliver salt!) thank you x

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage."We loved the peace and quiet of the countryside. There were lots of places to explore along the causeway coast and Belfast was about an hour away for a day trip. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Claire's communication was excellent, and we appreciated the email with a list of things to see, prior to our arrival. This helped us plan our trip. The cottage itself was warm, cosy, clean and modern. The beds were comfy and we liked the open plan living area as well as the views across the countryside. Claire had stocked the fridge with butter and milk and left some delicious scones. These little touches go a long way and were very much appreciated after a long journey. We recommend the chip shop in nearby Stranocum called Chippers Chippy and also the cheese toasties at the Maegdens cheese shop in Bushmills. The Titanic Experience in Belfast is a great attraction. Overall we had a brilliant holiday and would recommend this cottage. Thanks Claire!

Claire gave us a list of things to visit and places to eat which were amazing. The bedrooms were unique and lovely views from upstairs bedrooms. It was a nice relaxing place to return to after a busy day out. Hope to see you again soon. Property Owner

"Claire who lives with her family in the adjacent farmhouse, was a very welcoming host and so helpful with any queries we had over our fortnight's stay ."She is a great host only a text message or phone call away from assisting you straight away with information advice or action as appropriate. . The property in a lovely quiet farm setting had great parking and a good access road from the main road. It was a peacefully ideal base to attend the Open golf at Royal Portrush, play golf at the numerous courses in the local area , visit tourist attractions like the Giants Causeway and Bushmills Distillery, and Belfast was less than an hour away. The Titanic Museum is a great place to visit. If we return to Northern Ireland we would gladly stay at the Property again. It more than met our requirements over the two week holiday. I would give the cottage my highest recommendation Thank you so much, you were lovely guests and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Property Owner

"Just returned from a fantastic stay at Narrow Gauge Cottage."The cottage is a perfect location for exploring this beautiful part of Northern Ireland. Claire, the owner messaged us in advance with a list of things to see and do in the area. This was extremely useful and much appreciated. Claire was really welcoming and very helpful (as were her family.) The cottage was very comfortable, coat and shoe rack a good provision for wetter weather. Beds and bedding clean and comfortable and the cottage was well-equipped. Good instructions were provided for all the appliances. Two of us were staying at the cottage, the only negatives being the one downstairs bathroom would be a squeeze if the cottage had it's full capacity of 6 people, (was fine for 2). Headroom is limited in the bedrooms for tall people. The other disappointment was no food welcome pack was provided. Having stayed at many cottages over the years, it was most unusual not to find at least a loaf of bread and a pint of milk awaiting your arrival. All in all, a wonderful stay! Hope to see you again soon. Property Owner

Claire & family were very friendly and helpful, providing information on lots of places to visit & even coming out to pick us up when we were caught in a heavy downpour! Easy access to lots of lovely places on the Causeway coast & beyond Thanks Beverley, lovely to meet you. Property Owner

"Claire is a wonderful host."She emailed us lots of information prior to our visit and unpacked our online food delivery ahead of our arrival. Claire and her family were extremely warm and welcoming. The cottage is beautiful in a lovely location on a dairy farm. Claire gave us loads of hints & tips, and provided camping chairs, picnic bag and flask to use, while we were out for long days at the NW200 races. Truly one of the best holiday experiences we have had.
