"Everything we needed was supplied, plus a very generous welcome pack of bread and butter, cereal packets, milk, crisps, and apples."
The location was very peaceful, yet only 1 mile from the ring road. It proved a very good centre for exploring the south of Northern Ireland, plus beautiful walks on the banks of the River Lagan nearby. Owner was very accessible if needed.

"The cottage is in a quiet secluded spot but with a regular, reliable bus service into Belfast within a 10-15 minute walk."
There are some lovely walks around the area. The owner, David, is available on the phone if needed and visits most days as he has another property nearby. There is a large supermarket on the bus route if you don’t want to drive there. The place was very clean and everything was available that was needed for our stay. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Very generous and caring hosts. Situation was excellent, beautiful and quiet surroundings a short cycle ride to the towpath which we used to cycle into Belfast and Lisburn.

"This was my second holiday in this lovely little cottage."
The cottage itself is well placed to accommodate not only the quiet holiday but also the city holiday. Belfast centre is only 5 minutes away and you also have a nice big Tesco store a couple of minutes away. The interior of the cottage suits it and has everything you need.

"Situated only a few miles from Belfast city centre Hallmount Cottage is secluded in quiet countryside with every thing needed to enjoy its location."
On its doorstep there is a National Trust park with countryside walks by the river and giants ring an ancient burial site. There is so much to do in Belfast a week is not long enough but a must is the Sunday market at St Georges Hall for crafts, food and music at its best in the morning. Just up the road is a large supermarket for all your needs and round the corner in Ballylesson village is a garden centre with a cafe. We enjoyed our stay and recommend for your visit to Belfast a stay at Hallmount Cottage.

"Lovely cottage in a really good location."
Very well equipped and very cosy - a real home from home. Welcome package was excellent and lovely owners. Spacious as well. We were warm in the cottage and the owner, David, was very concerned that we were warm enough. Lots of extra blankets etc if needed.
We are used to a more firm mattress on the bed though.
