  • "The cottage was amazing, spotlessly clean, well thought-out, comfortable and a good size for a group of 4 adults and was in a great location, easy short walk into Bushmills, and great for exploring the coast."

If I was being picky it could do with some hooks in the main bathroom for towels, and the knives were not very sharp, but these are minor points, in all we had a fabulous stay and would happily recommend to others.

Thank you Claire for your feedback, I will indeed look about putting hooks on the bathroom door. Glad you enjoyed the wonderful North coast. Regards Karen Property Owner

  • "Very little toilet roll provided and , given how many people fly to NI, a few toiletries would be a nice touch."

Otherwise very clean and spacious. Both showers are very very hard to switch on (anyone with eg arthritis simply would not be able to) and don't always switch off fully without dripping - visitors' book suggests this is a long running issue which needs addressing. The ventilation in the en suite is not great either.

Thank you for your comments. Toilet roll is always left in this self catering property to help guests get started on their holiday. The showers are plumbed in from the boiler and are not electric so need a little more effort to pull on and off. If showers are dripping this is a clear sign that they are not off. This is always explained to guests prior to arrival by the owner and again visually by Nikki the caretaker in the house. Nikki is available to assist and help with all queries whilst guests are staying in the holiday home. She is very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Thank you for your business, we give all comments consideration where possible . Regards Owner Karen Property Owner

  • "We would recommend 4 The Cloisters unreservedly."

When we contacted the owner prior to our stay she could not have been more friendly and helpful. Nikki who was there to greet us was equally as pleasant and she continued to help us with any queries during our stay. The cottage was well located, very clean, warm, well equipped and comfortable. We were especially grateful for the comfortable beds as, sadly, we were both ill for over a week and spent a lot of time in bed!

Thanks so much for the positive feedback Peter, it means a lot and helps us try and get things right for guests. Regards Owner Property Owner

That was our first holiday in Ireland but I am sure we will be back.

Thank you, a beautiful area with very friendly people. I always recommend bringing a national trust card as they own part of the North coast area and this saves some money. Regards Owner Property Owner

  • "We stayed at this property as two couples."

It was a pleasure to walk into the house when we arrived, it was very well presented, with a clean, bright and open living space. It had everything we needed, allowing us to self cater as well as eat out. The bedrooms were comfortable and provided us with ample storage. Parking was easy. The house was within short driving distances to many local attractions, the drives were beautiful. It is also a short walking distance into the town of Bushmills. The host of the house and her contact given to us during our stay, could not have been more helpful, both were thoughtful and gave us useful tips as to places to visit.

Thank you so much for such positive feedback, we are so glad you enjoyed the cottage and the north coast. Property Owner

  • "This is such a lovely clean house."

No complaints from us. Very comfy. Open plan is very sociable space. Warm and plenty of hot water. Wifi worked downstairs, but not upstairs......which was absolutely no problem for us. Just couldn't fault it. The house is in a good location a short walk to town and distillery. Short drive to many beautiful beaches and walks.

Thank you so much for your positivity. The floors upstairs are concrete and sometimes this affects the internet signal. Regards owner and caretaker Property Owner
