It’s a really great house in an extremely peaceful location with great views I was very impressed with the many thoughtful placements of objects to make the place feel homely as well as the quality and comfort of the beds and linen Hosts were very helpful and resolved a small issue I did have promptly If your looking for a very peaceful retreat with great views in comfort but also close to shopping and entertainment then this is the ideal spot

Charming cottage with everything you need to truly relax in your holiday.

The space in the cottage is great, plenty of room to live comfortably. Kitchen was fully equipped, sitting room has a tv and reclining sofa's! 3 bedrooms have lovely beds and lots of storage. En suite bathroom and a main wet room bathroom. All stylishly decorated. The views from the cottage can be 10 foot in front or 1000's feet depending on the weather. Used the binoculars provided to have a good look. Plenty of birds flying around and cows walking the fields. And those mountains in the distance ! Lovely space outside to sit and eat or just relax and take in the views. Washing line was also a help even though there is a tumble dryer. We didn't walk into the town of Kilkee, it would be a long walk I suspect but it's an easy drive and plenty of parking in the town. Would recommend visiting the Pollock Holes at low tide, Bridges of Ross, Loophead Lighthouse and the Alpaca Experience locally. Plenty of beaches and cliff walks. A great base to explore the countryside. On a rainy day, we used the indoor public swimming pool in Kilkee. We ate in town a few times; lots of pastries, coffees and ice creams. Naughtons Yard was lovely. Local chinese takeaway was lovely but busy. Off license is well stocked and where there is a Return centre for cans and plastic bottles. Kilrush is the town for supermarkets; Tesco and Aldi. Kilkee has small shops, perfect for small items. Will definitely be back again, it was a charming house and we had a truly relaxing holiday. Never needing for anything. Maybe some more sunshine but that's Ireland !

We had a wonderful time at Cottage View and couldn't have been happier with our experience.

Sharon, our host, was wonderful and responsive to our every need--even leaving some milk, eggs, bread, and cheese and such for a quick night time dinner after our late arrival. Our little three generation family found plenty of comfort and nearby experiences to make our holiday extraordinary. The cottage was beautifully decorated, and was also set up for success for the kids as well as the adults. I give my highest recommendation to this site and hope to return myself one day.
