Step into the conservatory and take a moment to soak up the surroundings, this space makes a wonderful spot for a cup of tea in the morning whilst catching a glimpse of the waves crashing in the far distance.
Stepping through the conservatory door will bring you to the spacious kitchen/diner, where you will find everything to cater to your culinary needs to whip up a delicious meal.
Makes use of the electric oven, the electric hobs and microwave to cook up a storm, and the dishwasher offers a helping hand too.
Once breakfast or dinner is served, gather at the dining table for some quality time together with your loved ones, chatting about the next day’s adventure.
To relax of an evening, light up the fire within the sitting room, snuggle up on the sofa, and enjoy that well-deserved family film night.

The ground floor plays host to two double bedrooms with en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom, whilst upstairs there is a king-size bedroom and two double bedrooms, which share a spacious family bathroom.
Admire your surroundings further by spending time within the large garden area, where you will also find ample off-road parking spaces.
The attractive village of Castletownshend lies a short drive away from the property, where you will be able to find a shop for picking up the essentials and a pub for a traditional pint of Guinness.
Be sure to take time to explore the village which has been developed around a 17th century castle and is home to a pretty quayside and harbour.
Just on the outskirts of the village are a number of historical landmarks which are well worth a visit, Knockdrum Stone Fort is a wonderful reminder of the past and offering picturesque views, whilst Gurranes Stone Row offers a peaceful walk.
Other walks within West Cork include Dunboy Woods and Bullig Bay Coastal Loop, Eyeries Coastal Loop at Creha Quay and Coastguard Loop, if you are feeling adventurous.
Alternatively, head to the colourful town of Skibbereen, where a larger selection of traditional pubs and restaurants await you, or perhaps a day trip to the vibrant Bere Island.

What guests are saying
The house was wonderful and the owner met us on the second day.
But we did think a list of things like how to work the boiler for hot water and heating, clear WiFi instructions, which items go in what bins, small things but important. Also a guest book would have been nice. We had a really nice stay and would return.
The house is beautiful , spacious and comfortable, its spotless and beds are very comfortable .
Great view overlooking toe head from the house. It has everything you need for a self catering holiday and is very well equipped. The welcome pack is so good as it saves running out to get groceries straight away and was very much appreciated after a long journey. The only downside if you'd call it that is that its a little remote but thats not a bother once you have a car. The host met us on arrival and told us about the local places to visit. We had a lovely time staying here.
The property was exactly as we expected.
All amenities needed where there and more! The location is beautiful with stunning views of the sea. The house is very spacious with plenty of bathrooms. We had an amazing stay and will definitely return & recommend to friends. Thank you Padraig for everything. ☺️
