Wow!
This is a truly exceptional and obviously much loved, cared for and beautifully furnished and decorated house that seems to give you a hug as you walk in. From their initial greeting and the very generous welcome basket to the good bye at the end of the holiday we were made to feel so welcome by the hosts. They stress that they are on hand to help but that they leave guests alone to enjoy their holiday. I’ve rented holiday cottages and houses at least twice a year for forty five years and I can say without reservation that this is by far the best one in every way. If you choose this as your holiday base, you’ll want for nothing. It is so well equipped, beautifully clean and centrally placed for visiting so many places of interest. The owners of the house are warm, welcoming, thoughtful and kind hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. This was easy to see in the lovely welcome we received and the way in which they and other members of their family immediately helped us when my father became very ill, although thankfully he did recover quickly. Judith rapidly organised medical care for him for which we were very grateful. I would recommend this stunning property without reservation. Thank you Judith, Eric, Denise and family for a wonderful holiday and the laughter.
Clarmes House is a fantastic property that hits all the right notes- comfortable, super clean, stylish, high quality everything, a superb welcome pack of local treats, ideal hosts who are on hand for advice on local things to do.
The list goes on. You really feel like you’re having a touch of luxury here, and when it comes our long experience of holiday homes, this is an excellent example of ‘how to do it’.
A great find for us.
The property had everything we required and more, it was spacious internally / outside plus neat, tidy and clean. This property is ideally situated for beaches and seeing this part of N. Ireland - its position also gives easy access to visit West Ireland. If required, a quiet time is easily had just staying here. The owners Eric, Judith and Denise were lovely and very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Our holiday had it all which made it so fun, relaxed, chilled and peaceful.
